Fudgy999
Hey, Im Fudgy999 this is my first guide, It is on how to make money through Tokkul (Tzhaar Caves Currency) You may have seen alot of people buying 100's of wierd + wonderful objects which you wouldnt normally need that many for, some of the most popular items are: - Chaos Runes - Death Runes - Obby Mauls [hide=Click To Find Out How To Get The Karamja Gloves] Guide Coming Soon To start the achivement diarys, you must first speak to "Pirate Jackie The Fruit", Below is a map of how to get to him :) Once there you must talk to him about the Achivement Tasks so you can start doing the tasks and get your Karamja Gloves Complete the tasks and you will be rewarded with the gloves of that difficulty level. [/hide] How To Get To Tzhaar 1. (Yellow) From Ardougne, Get the boat across to brimhaven and walk east to the dungeon. 2. (Blue) House Teleport and walk east through brimhaven to the dungeon. 3. (Red) Get the boat from Port Sarim and walk west to the dungeon. 4. (Brown) Use a glory amulet and teleport to Karamja and walk west to the dungeon. Once down the dungeon, turn immediatly east and Enter the Cave If you are selling Chaos/Death runes to get enough tokkul for your Onyx, Follow the Blue Dots If you are selling Obby Mauls to get enough tokkul for your Onyx, Follow the Purple Dots. Once you have 260,000 Tokkul, Follow the Red Dots. To sucessfully make money through tokkul, the new "Karamja Gloves" http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=169 Any kind will do, it doesn't make a difference, They reduce costs for you: Buying Onyx *WITHOUT* Gloves = 300,000 Tokkul Buying Onyx *WITH* Gloves = 260,000 Tokkul *You Must Wait For The Shop To Refresh Before Selling Another Otherwise The Ammount of Tokkul Per Maul Drops* [hide=Click To See Tokkul Per Obby Maul Rates] 1 In Stock (Standard) = 17,500 Tokkul 2 In Stock = 16,500 Tokkul 3 In Stock = 15,500 Tokkul 4 In Stock = 14,500 Tokkul 5 In Stock = 14,500 Tokkul (14,500 Is the Lowest It Goes)[/hide] Selling Obby Mauls *WITHOUT* Gloves = 7,500 Tokkul Selling Obby Mauls *WITH* Gloves = 17,500 Tokkul Because of the vast quantity of Chaos/Death Runes you will be selling, the ammount of tokkul per rune does NOT change: Chaos = 9 Tokkul Death = 18 Tokkul As you can see from the information above, it is ALOT cheaper to buy with the new gloves. With Chaos - 29,000 * 125 = 3,625,000 With Deaths - 14,500 * 250 = 3,625,000 With Obby Mauls - 15 * 200,000 = 3,000,000 Then, Simply buy a Onyx from the gem store oppoiste, look on the Offical RS forums or go to Al Karid and ask if anybody will craft furys, most normally do it for the resources or gem and 25k Thanks for reading my guide, Suggestions Welcome. Hope it Helps :) Whatpulse!
swordb88
this is great! but theres one problem, this is gonna make fury prices lower to LOL invite? PM me :)
Arambul
Try to clear up some of the text, and label stuff better. It's confusing and, honestly, I don't understand what you're saying. The only thing I got from that is that you only make 600-700k profit, depending on the prices. Considering the time it would take to buy the items, that's horrible. Fudgy999
Thanks for the contribution, I have made the guide easier to understand, will continue to do so in the morning. Also, The cash from this is very nice, When buying the Obby Mauls at 215k Each, Over the past 2 days, 8,400,000 GP Profit, Ontop of 3k Alches worth of mage exp :) Whatpulse! aspire
I think the guide is pretty good for your first guide. You should make it more detailed. Maybe put up a map on where the shop is (to make it look better or something). Great work though.
Arambul
Looks better. I'm going to make some nats and get some cash to try this. I'm not sure, but I thought obby mauls were 100-150k each. When I try this, I might also make a guide. I need to make a guide on something.

IceBlackIce
Its amazing how many people say "good guide" without actually reading it properly... "With Deaths - 24,500 * 250 = 3,625,000 " that is NOT 3.6M...i assume you are saying like 14.5k deaths or something *** [ END ]: You gained 1,671,000 thieving exp in 9mins 44secs. That's 10,300,684 exp/h.Dragon Drops - 1 Skirt
Fudgy999
Cheers for pointing that out, Typos ftl. On the note of buying Obby Mauls, You can get them quite easily at Edgeville and Duel Arena on busy worlds as well as the forums Whatpulse! IceBlackIce
Just one question when you say : Selling Obby Mauls *WITH* Gloves = 17,500 Tokkul is that with an empty stock ? or one can just sell all of those in 1 sweep and keep the value the same? *** [ END ]: You gained 1,671,000 thieving exp in 9mins 44secs. That's 10,300,684 exp/h.Dragon Drops - 1 Skirt
Fudgy999
Shamefully no, You must sell one and then wait for the shop to refresh. Otherwise it drops like this: 1 In Stock = 17,500 Tokkul 2 In Stock = 16,500 Tokkul 3 In Stock = 15,500 Tokkul 4 In Stock = 14,500 Tokkul 5 In Stock = 14,500 Tokkul So the lowest it goes to is 14,500 tokkul. Arambul
It's a good guide, but my only problem is that mauls are 200k each. Do you know a quick way to get 800k? Thanks if you do, thanks anyways if you don't.

Arambul
I did this to get 1 onnyx gem. If you like slow money, this is good. Hardly anyone have obby mauls. It took me like 3 hours to buy 14 of them(already had 20k tokkul). I just did it so I can stake a little bit. It's a nice guide, but unless you are you you can get obby mauls fast, don't do it. Or you can just pay 220k each.
Tyrrell9
One question, when you're selling the mauls, if you press 'Sell 10', do they sell for 17,500 each or less? I always thought it would be the same as selling 1, but haven't tried it yet.
First_Slave
if you sell 10 at once you won't get top price for all of them and it will be a waste.
