Necromagus
To reduce the clutter of "Looking for a game" topics that can litter up this subforum, the Tip.It Forum staff has created this sticky to help you look for new games. Whether you're about to buy a new PC or console or are just looking for something to cure your boredom, this topic is the place to ask for help! Please note that in order to receive help more quickly, you should include what system you want games for. PC users should also list the specs of their system. Furthermore, you should include what genre of games you like to play or what games you have enjoyed in the past. This will allow other users to find the games you're most likely to enjoy in the future more quickly. Please note that Tip.It Forum Rules do not allow links to websites that offer downloads of copyrighted material, so people asking for and/or providing such links will be punished. Other than that, stay civil, have fun, and happy gaming :D -Necromagus, Tip.It Mod. Lenin64
As this was my idea, I'll start us off. I'm looking for a strategy game, but instead of the regular RTS method of starting with little and having to build your base in the middle of the battle and create our army as you fight, something that gives you a set number of units to use and, if you lose them, too bad.No resources to collect, no bases to build, focusing on the units you already have. Command the Murderous Chalices! Drink ye harpooners! drink and swear, ye men that man the deathful whaleboat's bow- Death to Moby Dick!BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! Hmm...I can think of multiple games like that...but I can really only remember the name of one. If you have a psp, Lemmings is a game exactly like that. You start with a set amount of little munchkins who have certain abilities, and you use their abilities to get through the obstacles ahead. On the hardest dificulty second, the last levels of the game get incredibly difficult. It's a great game. If you don't have a psp..... [hide=]emulate it ;)[/hide] Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!

ierchov
Finally this is here, I was thinking of created a topic like this one close to a year naw :) I just got my laptop back 2.0 GHz Duo core Nvidia 8200M G 3GB of RAM Basically I'm just looking for fun/entertaining games for PC that would be able to Run on my machine. Anything but sports game :D I know this is very broad, but I know almost nothing about PC games, and some good games would really be appreciated. Games that I owned and liked: In no order: Runescape, oblivion, Civilization 3, Diablo II, Age of Empires II, Combat Arms, Call of Duty 4, Orange Box, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. , CS 1.6 and the GTA's. I'm just looking for some solid, entertaining games, no matter what genre :)

I'm just looking for some solid, entertaining games, no matter what genre :) For PC I can deffinately name a few... Rts - Dawn of war series - They are awesome althrough relic slightly suck at releasing updates... Warcraft 3 series - Pure awesome, custom maps are epic too. Company of Heroes - I played a demo a while ago, still have yet to buy it but from what I played its awesome, Made by the same guys as Dawn of War and slightly more tactical. Fps - You pretty much have all the games i would have suggested :) Maybe try Left 4 Dead Rpg - If you're looking for MMORPGS, and don't mind paying subscription fee's I think the 2 best mmorpgs out at the moment are either Warhammer: Age of Reckoning, or World of Warcraft. Also, lord of the rings springs to mind if your a fan. If you're not too keen on the monthly subscription fee then you could give Guild wars a try. Non MMORPGS i would suggest include: Mass effect (TPS with rpg elements) Bioshock (FPS with rpg elements) Haven't played many RPG's so i can't suggest many. Indie - If you like a lot of indie games (Individual Developers) you could try AudioSurf. It's really addicting, basically you can load a song of any in your music collection on your computer, the game then generates a track and then sends you "surfing" on this track to collect different coloured blocks for points. Thats all i can think of off the top of my head at the moment. You shouldn't have any problems playing the games i listed. Lenticular_J
Lawdy no. It's amazing voice control. Unless you have bad strep throat/ URI, like I had the last time I played it. I usually only use voice control to call in more troops or the like, though. I like to only have some music going. Also, some of the battles are insane. Oh, and if you do get it (I'd rent it first, some people don't like it, although I bet you would), remember: Artillery own any battlefield. Particularly if you have a command post with hunter-killer UAV. Insane. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

OldJoe
I'm wondering if there are any good (fighter) airplane simulators? I don't really wanna play that MS flight simulator.. or whatever it's called. So i'm basically asking if there's a fighter simulator? I used to play a couple of those a couple of years ago, but haven't for a long time. J'adore aussi le sexe et les snuff moviesJe trouve que ce sont des purs moments de vieJe ne me reconnais plus dans les gensJe suis juste un cas désespérantEt comme personne ne viendra me réclamerJe terminerai comme un objet retrouvé
