First time viewing? If so, read this briefing on how the Tip.It War Rankings works.

Joining
All clans who wish to join the TWR must have the following:
• At least two officials with a TIF user account: every clan has one leader plus another one for every 25 members. The maximum number of officials cannot exceed five.
• At least twenty-five members on your RuneHead memberlist.
• A link to an introduction topic in the Clan Discussion forum briefly describing you and your clan.

If you meet these requirements, then post the following in a new topic in the TWR forum (the forum you are currently in):
Clan Name:
Clan Abbreviation:
Forum:
Memberlist:
Link to Introduction:
IRC channel (if public):
IRC server:

You will be added to the TWR's waiting-list until you win some points. Points are awarded to all clans that participate in a war; however, freshly-added clans with zero points cannot be declared upon by others. For a new clan to be added to the TWR, it must therefore declare on another clan.

Declaring
• All wars must be accepted or declined on the Tip.It War Rankings (TWR) (the board you are on now), but specifics can be discussed elsewhere. If a declaration acceptance is not posted, evidence of the TWR agreement must be shown; try to avoid this and accept on this board.
• One topic per declaration.
• If needed, TWR moderators will help settle disagreements over war rules.

1. Create a new thread.
2. In the title, indicate whether you are looking for a war or are specifically challenging a clan.
3. In the post, it is suggested you include the following information or use this format:
Your clan (name + initials):
Your clan's member-list (link + copy-pasted list):

Opposing clan (name + initials):
Opposing clan's member-list (link + copy-pasted list)

Your forum/contact details:

Specific declarations (capped/ particular time):

4. If the challenge is accepted, go war--don't forget to take pictures of the outcome.
5. See below for information on results/aftermath topics.

• If you do not receive a reply to your declaration by the opposing clan within five days, then contact a clan-moderator/community-leader.
• Wars must be fought within 30 days of the declaration.
• Moderators have the ability to impose their own rules if clans cannot agree. This ability is reserved for extreme cases, and the rules imposed will be the Tip.It House Rules:

House Rules

Posting Results

• All results are to be posted in the Wars and Run-ins forum.
• The winning clan posts.
• If needed, TWR moderators will help settle disagreements over war results.
• In the post, it is suggested you include the following information or use this format:
Link to the declaration:

Winning clan (both name + initials):

Winning clan's member-list:

Losing clan (both name + initials):

Losing clan's member-list:

Starting/ending ops of both clans (screenshot is valid proof):

Warring Rules
• No picture, no proof.
• Any clan can war any clan.
• There may be no allies in a war.
• Wars can be either P2P or F2P.
• Clans may not declare on the same clan more than once a month in order to prevent point farming.
• There may be no cap on armor or numbers with the exception of mini wars (definition of mini war in Structure section below).
• Wars must take place in the Clan Wars Arena or in a PvP world. If an unsolvable dispute arises in the aftermath, both clans must rematch in the Clan Wars Arena or accept a nulled war.
• Any other specifc rules (full out, matched ops, run-in option, different arenas, time limit, attack type, boundaries, stragglers, warring location, et cetera) must be agreed upon by both clans.
• A member may only be listed on the memberlist of one clan participating in the TWR.
• Clans that have warred in the past week may decline any declaration. However, if the week is over and the clan declines another declaration, the clan must have at least one of the following valid reasons or lose 100 points (with 50 points going to the clan that was declined):
• Leadership change
• Forums or website hacked/information loss

Though not limited to these, the following are not valid reasons to decline:
• Busy
• Bad relations
• Inability to settle on war rules
• Member lists uneven/overpowered
• Inability to settle on a time or date
• Warred in the past week outside of the TWR

Scoring
• The combat average corresponds is based off each clan's RuneHead.
• In the case of rounds, the average of each value of all the rounds will be used.
• Points are awarded by the following formula:
Points awarded = 50 (default) + Opponents' F2P/P2P combat average + OWN starting number.

Structure
• If a clan closes or leaves a list, that clan's points will reset.
• A clan cannot go below 0 points, no matter how many points lost.
• If needed, TWR moderators will help settle disagreements over war rules and results.
• A multi-clanner is defined as someone who is on more than one memberlist of participating TWR clans. Clans will lose 100 points for every person that is on multiple TWR lists and participated in a TWR war.
• If a clan is removed from the list, every clan below that rank will be moved up one rank.
• If a clan wars--win or lose with the exception of rule-breaking--that clan receives 50 points.
• If two or more clans have the same amount of points, the clan(s) with the most recent wars are first.
• If a clan breaks the rules of a war, that clan will automatically forfeit the match and lose 25% of its current score.
• If a clan has not replied to a declaration, contact the clan via PM, their IRC, or their forum. If no response is given, contact a TWR moderator.
• Mini wars occur when both clans are limited to a certain cap on numbers. For example, 50 versus 50, 60 versus 50, X + 10 versus 50, et cetera.
• Whenever a clan is awarded 50 default points for when a clan fails to honor a declaration (by either responding to it, or breaking the rules), it's marked on the TWR update log as a forfeit.
• At the start of every month, each clan's score is reduced by 20% so incoming clans have a slightly better chance in becoming just as competitive.
• At the start of every year, each clan's score is reduced by 70%, to mark the fresh start of a new year and give a clan a 'clean slate'.
• Clans that have not warred the previous month will be removed from the corresponding list. Clans which joined that month are exempt. Activity checks occur the first day of each month.

Timezones & countdown timers

Timezones.

GMT = Greenwich Mean Time
EST = Eastern Standard Time
UTC = Universal Time Coordinated

Note: UTC = GMT

Summertime.

Since 29/03/2009 we are in the Summertime in some countries. Not every country uses summertime!
Duration: from 29/03/2009 until 25/10/2009. Note! The date can vary from time zone to time zone!
Changes: Countries like Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, ... change from GMT+1 -> GMT+2 in timezone.
The UK changes from GMT -> BST, meaning British Summer Time. BST = GMT+1
Note: EST = GMT-4 = BST -5
E.g. 2 PM EST = 6 PM GMT = 7 PM BST (GMT+1) and 8 PM GMT+2

For more information on which time it is now exactly in your country, here are a few handy links:
World Time Zones: http://wwp.greenwich....com/time-zone/
You can search every country & see the current time there. You can also see what time it is exactly in GMT, EST, BST , ...

Timezone convertor: http://www.timezonec...cgi-bin/tzc.tzc
You can convert one timezone to another here.

Wintertime.

From 25/10/2009 to 28/03/2010 we are using Wintertime. Note! The date can vary from time zone to time zone!
During the wintertime, the UK turns from BST to GMT again, and most countries in Europe go back from GMT+2 to GMT+1 again.

Countdown Timers.

To make it completely crystal clear you can use your own countdown timers!
Link: http://www.pending.me.uk/

Set in the time of a war, and it counts down until the war starts. You can also add in a text (when registering).
Example:

Posted Image

This one is similar, but not quite the same. When making it, type in the time and date for the evet. When using it, look for your current time and it gives your local time and date for the event.

Note
- Summer breaks can be asked during the summer months (july & august) for a maximum time range of 4 weeks
- An overview of the Clan Staff available for contact has been added to the Clan Forums Rules & Info sticky in Clan Discussions. That way you don't have to waste time contacting a member of the Clan Staff that's enjoying his/her drinks on Hawaii, and they don't have to come home to an inbox full of PM's with drama that's too late to deal with (not that we don't enjoy dealing with the drama! ;) ) or requests that you've already gotten help with elsewhere.
