How many hours does it take to get all 99's

I would think that's practically impossible to determine as XP/Hr changes with every level and every new method unlocked provides a faster and more efficient way to train. (For the most part.)

It's hard to figure this out - but if we assume you do not get any unexpected big drops (like getting a 3000 saradomin brew drop the first time you kill a cockatrice) you will need to make a lot of money as well.

You can do some quest (I think it's the one with the witch in the caravan) which gives you a few xp boosts to get level ~10 really quickly in something, if that helps :P.

So with a huge cashpile, some advanced method, and knowledge of the game I think that this is reasonable (or may even be faster with proper use of effigies/order of training skills) It would take about 130 days to max out. Without the cashpile I would add a 100 days of money making/inefficient methods.

So 230 days + 15 days for all quests + 25 days of random screwing around. I would say that 270-300 days of gameplay is reasonable estimate for your average player who is serious about xp.

Me personally I am at 173 days, which isnt too far behind my estimates, if I had a lucky break with money I would probably max out at 220 days played.

I'll personally max at around 260 days, so this sounds reasonable.

I would say 4 months for buyable skills , given that you have a massive supply of money

herblore ( 200k-300k xp an hour should be reasonable) 52 hours (+5 hours of low level training)

prayer (*no summoning so 700k xp an hour*) 19 hours - 2 days

crafting (250k xp an hour) 52 hours - a week (+5 hours of low level training)

smithing (250k xp an hour) 52 hours - a week (+15 hours of low level training)

fletching (300k+ xp an hour) 44 hours - a week (+ 15 hours of low level training)

cooking (600k xp an hour) 22 hours - 3 days (2 hours of low level training)

firemaking (450k xp an hour) 29 hours - 3 days (+ 6 hours of low level training)

farming (Using best trees available I would say 2-3 months?)

Construction (400k xp an hour mahogony boards) 35 hours - 2 days

Buyables with plenty of money: 353 hours (+ 13 hours given farming trees is 1m xp an hour or +22a 600k xp an hour average would factor in the lower levels)

So lets call this 15.5 days of gameplay.

Combat skills - still have near limitless money to spend.

magic (lets call it 250k xp an hour) 52 hours - a week (+ 25? hours of low level methods)

Summoning (barraging rock lobs makes the charms you get about 95k xp an hour) 137 hours (10% less on a BXPW)

ranging (red chins 350k xp an hour) 37 hours - 5 days (+ 8 hours of low level training)

Melee

att/str/def - 150k xp an hour at Living rock creatures (lets call this 95k average if you train here from lvl 75 att/str/def) 36m/95k = 379 hours (+40 hours of low level training )

Constitution (xp rate is irrelevant if you barrage/red chin train you will be well over 99 in the end).

Slayer: (do this after all other cb stats are maxed - 45k xp an hour powerslaying) = boost to 60k an hour with effigies used (save till after 99) = 288 hours

*When to start slayer is definitely debatable here - as well as when to use effigies on slayer*

Combat with money: 963 hours of gameplay (Should have quite a stash of effigies on slayer which can be used for after 99 xp or towards the slower skills you have left)

Lets call this: 40 days of gameplay

Gathering/click heavy skills (still got plenty of money):

Mining (1-80 = 40k xp an hour average = 50 hours) (80-99 75k an hour *if low alch not interupting mining still works*) about 150+50 hours

Woodcutting (60k xp an hour average) about 220 hours

Fishing (45k xp an hour average *not doing tricks/dungeoneering training) about 300 hours

Agility (1-80 is about 40k average factoring slow low levels to 50k an hour 70+ levels) = 50 hours (80-99 65k an hour average) about 170+ 50 hours

Thieving (1-99 about 200k xp an hour average) 65 hours

Runecrafting (1-99 45k xp an hour) about 300 hours (method is fire runes with ring of dueling teles back and forth till 75 (or combo runes for low levels) then ZMI to 99)

Hunting (1-99 average 200k) 65 hours

1370 hours of gameplay

Lets call this: 57 days of gameplay

Dungeoneering (250k xp an hour average) 104m/250k = 416 hours

lets say 18 days of gameplay.

mining 85k+ xp/h as at 99 you can get 100k ish with urns now and thats withsuperheating and dropping just said 85k but possibly more averaged out

construction 850k xph

woodcutting 100k xp/h with urns averaged out considering you can get 140k at pines

fishing 75k+ xp/h averaged out, urns?....

thieving 250k xp/h averaged out at least

Rc 1-14 airs takes like 16 minutes 14-50 with fires couple hours 50-99 zmi ands up averaging almost 60k xp/h all the way takes bout 220 hours for 99 rc

Is training RC still the slowest skill out there (without the use of effigy and the likes?)

This just got a whole lot more pertinent to me since I'm hopefully gunning for the completionist cape.

I know some maxed players with 200 play days, you can probably do it in 150 if you merch well

Lol, this makes me sad.

I have 222 days, and 2221 total level.

Please tell me you have 222,1 days. (2-3 hours)

As for myself, 120 days done, and I believe 80 more would be enough to max out.

New question. How many days will it take to get max cape, completionist cape, and completionist cape (t)?

Even more thoughtful question than simply all 99's imo.

Completionist (t) requires 5000 Castle Wars games @ 25 minutes each, just a little over 2080 hours.

Then, Champion's Challenge. I'm not sure but the drop rates are like 1/10,000 I think. You can cannon pretty much each monster, maybe chin/barrage mummies. But even so I think it'd be ~50 hours per scroll (averaged, got no data to back this up :P) which puts you at 650 hours for this.

Then chompy birds, I'm not sure on the kills per hour but I imagine it's a bit more than one per minute, say 50 hours for the lot?

That's all I care to do for now :P.

I know a few people will get it, but 2080 hours at castle wars is a bit over 86 game-play days. That amount of gameplay for one achievement is a bit excessive. I think I would get Slayer to 99 before attempting the Champion's Challenge since you might save some time, but then again I only got got one scroll between levels 1-99.

How would you save time by completing slayer before hunting the champion's challegene.

I would advise - not skipping the slayer tasks where you *might* have a chance of getting Champions scroll (even if they are bad exp)

That calculation is way off,you can fletch while doing everything else so you dont loose any money, you can mage+mine+smith at lrc to get 99 at all 3.

probably no need to do rock lobsters after slayer and maybe some quest rewards.

melee and range can almost be done with only slayer

if you merch you can get all buyables fast and if you have good friends you can dung with them at a bit lower lvl to get all dg rewards that will help you in further training

i say 150 days MAX if someone who knows what hes doing starts doing it

Would it work out to a similar number to get all 99's in F2P? Would the slower xp rates be offset by the fact that there are fewer skills available to free players?

f2punitedfcbanner_zpsf83da077.png

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

Probably not. 120 dungeoneering, 99 prayer, and 99 runecrafting are all very possible reasons that maxing f2p total may be in fact longer than maxing p2p total.

I think the problem arises as we're trying to find a "perfect" minimal amount of hours to get all 99's.

However, a lot of these things just aren't viable.

Also, a lot of the time - you're assuming that these guys are raking in tons of money. That's rarely the case - as you can tell from the high scores, there are MUCH more people with 99's in trainable as opposed to buyables.
