When i was picking out my first aura, i was deciding between Reverence and knock-out. Even though no research had been done on any of them yet, i still went with Reverence.

Now it seems on a whole, most people have gone with reverence as well since it(mentioned above) has the most immediate bonus. Knock-out i could see having a *very* small effect with activities in the long run like slayer and such. As it will save an attack turn on every few kills. Runic seems kinda' useless unless you're max-mage bonus barraging at castlewars or something with full Virtus. Sharpshooter i can see being the most useful if you're a Nexer. I don't see a situation where the friend in need aura could be practical to use. I doubt it could be used to make an enemy miss attack turn to save someone from dying, say at bandos because they accidentally lured gaar. The tank's reaction time to activate the aura wouldn't be fast enough. The person who lured him would be dead by then. The only useful thing i could see it for is if a bunch of people went in and ganged Nex with the aura. But even then it wouldn't be very useful.

The safe bet is Reverence. But keep in mind that it isn't a huge bonus and on average will only save up to a couple K gp an hour in terms of prayer potions. None of the auras have very big impact, which is why people are waiting and saving for Jack of all Trades to see how good it is.

Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.

Friend in need is useless. Runic accuracy as well, there isn't anything that needs magic accuracy outside pvp (that you should be maging).

Sharpshooter for Nex, reverence for DKS/Nex/slayer and such, knock-out for anything with 1k lp that you don't use a ferocious ring against.
