With such big xp gaps between levels I've switched up a little & started only doing task which I rate as 'good' xp which means I'm skipping ALOT of task in-between too, I'm hoping 2.6k Points will be enough to see me to the end :P

If all goes to plan and I'm not lazy I should finally be 99 Slayer sometime next week :D

Today my clan had a GWD event so I thought [bleep] it, why not get a Yak at last :P

Ended up going to Sara and staying for roughly 4 Hours mainly duo-ing, best drop was a Magic Seed until a friend of mine came by, straight away got God Shard 3 & a Armadyl Crossbow split straight after lmao!

All in all spent 4Hrs and got 3.5m~ GP so not good gp/hr but eh it was fun I guess. :P

97-98 has probably been my most profitable yet! Gotten really lucky with seed drops from Ganodermic Beast & the SOL's just keep coming from the Ice Stryke's :P. Also I've started picking up almost every drop, some kid was at Ice Stryke's taking all the drops i left, then at the end showed me what it all added up to... 1.1m, from then on things had to change lol :P

Hope to have 99 Slayer by this time next week, I'll try and average maybe 300k xp per day skipping Monday & Tuesday, still have God Statues, Troll Invasion & Penguin Points to cash in so shouldn't be to much effort! :)

So it took a week or two longer than I had hoped but 99 Slayer is now in the bag!

Was an epic journey, possibly most enjoyable but at the same time painful skill I've done to date.

I liked that no 2 days were ever the same although they did have some similarity's...

Gonna miss this skill for sure however I'm glad it's over. lol :)

 

Overall I made about 20M in drops from 83-99, the majority coming from 92 onwards.

Having drank over 1500 prayer potions, shot 52k Cannonballs & made some 300+ Overloads, not to mention the cost of bolts, runes & repairing armour...can say I pretty much broke even lol.

 

~ Other News

- All ship upgrades on Ports unlocked. :D

- 50 Chi & 50 Plate so far, still no complete scrolls though >.<

- 80 Farming & 80 Hunter achieved just recently

~ It's been a while...

 

Been only 6 Days since 99 Slayer, but it feels a lot longer :P

I've been a bit mad at the game and not played much partly because of this stupid SOF slayer promotion, it really annoys me that so many people were and still are able to buy 99 Slayer, specially after I grinded my ass of slaying all them hours, just for some noob to be able to spend a few hunderd dollars and get the equivelent xp in 5 minutes! :@

Can only imagine what's to come in the future... anyway, rant over for now :P

 

Over the past week i've been getting supplies for 90-99 Hunter via Draconic Jadinkos, earning pieces of Witchdoctor & Bossing.

 

By supplies I mean, I calced at 200k xp/hr (a rough guestimate of the xp/hr of draconic from 90+) the amount of hours it would take to get to 99 Hunter, from that I wanted every minute to be covered with Scentless & Zamorak Favour Potions.

So now I've got all the vines to make these pots, just in the process of growing the herbs which I hope to be done by next week :P

 

Just a few minutes ago I got the Witchdoctor Top completing my set... took just 2 weeks from what I hear that's pretty lucky :P

 

Bossing... I've been reasonably lucky too, first off I upgraded my gear.. Full virtus tank ftw lol :D

 

With last weeks c'bow drop this week I went to Armadyl and got the hilt less than 50 kills in, left soon after though as like most bosses, it gets pretty boring. :P

 

A friend in the clan wanted to duo Nex, I never had before, only big group FFA's so I was kinda worried lol, but it's pretty simple & a lot of moneys been made since.. I don't think I'll ever be going back to them crappy GWD bosses anymore :P

 

Really want Drygore Longs, at this rate will probably have by next week also Nex boot set would be nice :D

Another pretty slow but decent month over in my opinion, my main goal of 99 Slayer completed, Hunter raised a little bit & most importantly the 2300 Total milestone passed! :D

In total 33.9m XP & 31 Levels were gained in March... Keeping up my average of 1m XP per day :P

I feel I could of achieved a little more in terms of levels since getting 99 Slayer & have wasted a lot of time over the past week or so but I'm gradually getting back into skilling...

For this month I hope to get 99 Hunter & Firemaking, with 90+ in Fishing & Mining.

 

Reading back on my review of February post, I can see I achieved the majority of the things I wanted to do..

However I guess I failed with Firemaking but I did so purposely to focus on Hunter for my clan competition which starts on the 4th so Firemaking will be achieved shortly after for sure.

Ports is also being a pain when it comes to scrolls, I've now changed all my Totem Hotspots & Icons to attract adventurer's for Joint missions of Chi, yet still there coming awfully slow :( I will definitely get some Sea Singers gear at least this month though.

 

So simply this month I want;

 

~ 99 Hunting... Hoping this will take < 2 weeks.

 

~ 99 Firemaking... Will take like a week or less lol, stupid skill imo just raising my total.

 

~ 90 Fishing... Mainly via Fish Flingers, if I stick to doing 2 rounds a day this month I should be veryy close to champions tacklebox!

 

~ 90 Mining... My next 99 Skill i want at 99 after Firemaking, I'd be pleased if I can fit in some mining this month.

Managed to record a new XP record for myself in a single skill.. 1.86m Hunter xp!

Leveled from 90-92, could of maybe got 93 but cant be bothered atm :P

I want to average 2M xp per day for the next few days... meaning 99 Hunter very soon! :D

You've really been cranking away!

 

I can understand your sentiment over the SOF Slayer stuff. SOF has really been sort of a detriment to Slayer since it came out anyway. I mean otherwise, how are people racking up some 10m+ XP in it in a day? But at least you've gotten to take advantage of the improved speed and XP gains since EOC. I got my 99 in 2010, pretty much without chaotics or extremes.

 

That being said: No one's ever "done" with Slayer. The urge to kill things is still strong within you. >.>

Slayer has definitely gotten a lot easier since 2010 so I have big respect for you on that one because I'm pretty certain I would never of been able too :P

Wanted 99 by now, should of really but a mixture of being busy irl & just plain laziness has stopped me from achieving that goal :P

With 3m xp to go I could possibly smash it out in a day, maybe sometime this week if I can be bothered :P

Went to Kalphite King on Sunday, got Mainhand & Offhand Mace drops however for both kills I died so couldn't even get a screenshot :/ but made 35-40m that day! :D

 

 

Must be like 60 Kills of Nex now the majority Brews/Restores :( but I've finally got another drop... Torva boots again, 5m less split than last time but aw well its something right?

Was on a reallyyy bad dry streak, at one point got Brew/Restores like 7 times in a row :/ But I'm glad my luck is back :)

- Made Superior Sea Slinger Hood (Not the port item I wanted first but I sold Virtus Hood so I needed something quick! lol)

I tried to get 99 for yesterday by grinding some 10~ hours of Jadinko's but my time got stopped half way when some stubborn idiot tried to crash me... me being stubborn myself came back with a cannon & then we both ended up just sitting for over an hour till i got sleepy and left :P

I was once with you on that one, I used to hate Slayer, but towards the end I actually grew to like it & no longer saw it as a problem blocking me from maxing but instead viewed it as an 'enjoyable' skill lol

I caught it at a time when there were loads of changes being made to the EOC so I got a little lucky I think... I'm not sure how slaying is now but I think was slightly faster back then.

I reallyyyy don't like 07Scape, admittedly I was really bad at it back in 2007 and... I'm still really bad at it now lol

Just 93 Firemaking at the moment which admittedly I'm pretty disappointed about, this whole month has had so many delays due to being busy irl, bossing & plain laziness lol

Before the month is up I really want this firemaking cape at least, the other targets I set at the start of the month I guess will have to be shelved for now :/

I guess the only other significant skill related thing I have to show for the past week~ is 100 Dungeoneering :)

 

 

I'm slowly making my way back up to 200k Tokens, a tiny bit under 130k atm.

 

Anyway, I have been a little bit productive with my time, maybe not getting as much XP as hoped but I have been racking in the GP...

With this new update it's completely messed up how drygore's work.. I tried to Nex today & had to go in a group of 4 to get just 2 decent kills in a trip! :l

With everyone panic selling there gears too I been keeping a close eye on prices, I've actually decided to buy all 3 Nex Sets (incl. my torva) & hope the price maybe rises ago once the dust settles' in a week or so... fingers crossed, heard you need to Tri-brid Kalphite King now so maybe that will increase demand a little.

 

It seems my time duo-ing Nex is over, for now anyways till they fix it... luckily I managed to get the one item I've been waiting so long for...!

Anyway skilling... In a way its good they've nerfed Drygores, because I've been so distracted lately with bossing that I've almost put getting a Max Cape on hold >.< ... Will do a Review of April a little later today I want to do a few things before the first day of this month is up... lol

So this is like a week over due now & everyday I've said to myself I'd update this blog but end up not! :/

Maybe because I was doing something in game that wasn't as afk'able as mining which is what I'm doing now..

 

So anyway a quick review of April..

So overall a gain of 27 Levels & 22M XP.. considering the speed of the skills I was training this past month (Hunter & Firemaking) I am pretty disappointed I didn't get them out of the way quicker, which I definately could of :P

Distractions.. mainly PvM is to blame for the most part, but now bossing is the way it is, I along with many of my friends just don't want to boss atm so maybe now I can focus on skilling again! :)

But I guess that wasn't a complete time waste because now I can afford all the buyable skills without a worry of being broke afterwards! :D

 

Last month I set myself wayyy to many goals.. that's partly the reason why last month was a fail tbh, but this month's goal is really simple... 99 Mining.

After Mining's out the way Fishing will be the only 'slow skill' I have left.. I'll be training that through Fish Flingers until the time comes when I have no other choice but to actually fish :(

I'm hoping I can get Mining done completely within this month, but it's a slow skill so I'm giving myself until mid June to complete this one :P

 

 

I'll be mining LRC Gold with urns, Lava Titan & Juju Mining Potions, 2hr trips at a time before banking again for more supplies.

Slowly working on getting full Gold Mining Suit, but I'm doing that with a friend hence why I haven't just camped there for 20hrs and got the set already :P

So yeah just 6 days since my last update & I'm already at the half way mark to 99 Mining :D

(I was sleepy and pressed NUM LOCK instead of Print Screen, so missed the fireworks >.< lol)

Mining is much faster than I had imagined & I can realistically see myself getting 99 within the next couple weeks!.. Warbands helps a lot :P

I mangaed to get myself the full Gold Mining Suit after about 13hrs of mining, it took my friend 16hrs but I stayed with her till she got it in the hope I would get my pickaxe gilded, that never happened :(

 

 

The only bad thing I really have to say about LRC is the lagg, omg lol.. at times when I move to the gold rock that's out in the middle & a large group of players stampede to it my laptop just gives up for like half a minute, glad I'm getting this done before HTML5 tbh it would only get worse... :P

 

I've now decided after Mining I will be training Fishing to 99, then that's all the slow skills out of the way for me, just buyables left.. to save myself from the temptation of buying unnecessary junk and losing millions I've bought a couple rares and left myself with a little spending money which will probably go towards whatever skills/ items i fancy buying whenever :P
