Introduction

Genesis is an Old School RuneScape warring clan that was founded by Michele Ac, Ritchie, Tika191 & myself on 28th April 2012. We are a mid-sized clan with members primarily from the GMT timezones across Europe and also from the EST timezone in America. Our events typically reside between 7-11pm GMT (2-6pm EST), but whilst we pride ourselves as a warring clan, we also have numerous community events that we allow our friends to attend. Genesis prides itself upon having members with high quality; therefore we, as a clan, set high expectations and set high standards for our members to follow. In the past year we have proven to be one of the best man-for-man clans in existence - consistently outperforming our opponents no matter their size or strength. We have grown in one year from a small clan which primarily competed in CWA to a clan which has dominated the mid-sized clan scene in the Wilderness. We aim to take the next step and become a dominant force amongst all clans in the Wilderness, which is why we invite you to join our clan.

 

Despite attempting to be as proficient and efficient in warring scenarios, Genesis also prides itself upon having an amazing, close-knit community. Our motto 'the beginning of the end' comes from the idea that clans who open in recent years are unable to remain sustainable, but in fact indicates that we will be here until the end of clanning. We were born in the beginning of tough times and will survive until the end. We are able to say this because of our wonderful community which always has 40+ members & officials on TeamSpeak talking and playing games such as RuneScape, CoD, LoL, FIFA & any other games that we enjoy. We opened in a tough era for clans, however we have survived and flourished despite the circumstances. An example of our community are our forums, which are by far the most active mid-sized clan forums and even rivals the top clan forums every now and then in regards to active posts and topics. Our leadership is also a great example of our community, as whilst we are serious in certain scenarios, we are also very laid back and fun to be around.

 

All in all we are not just a better-than-average mid-sized warring clan - there's a lot more to us than that.

Requirements

 

We have both level and gear requirements, here are our level requirements:

• 95+ Combat for Trial Member (you must have acquired the Intro rank to apply),
  
• 43+ Prayer,
  
• You must meet one of the following options for our second warring styles:
  
• 70+ Mage & 70+ Range OR 75+ Mage & 40+ Range OR 75+ Range & 59+ Magic,
  

Gear requirements:

• 20 Plain Purple Capes,
  
• 100 anchovy pizzas,
  
• 25 Strength Potions (4),
  
• 20 Leather Boots,
  
• 5 Amulets of Power,
  
• 5 complete Rune sets consisting of: Full Helm, Platebody, Plateskirt, Kiteshield & Scimitar,
  
• You are also expected to hybrid in warring events, therefore you must have gear from one of the two options:
  
• 5 complete Ranger sets which contains:
  
• 5 Green D'hide sets consisting of: Body, Chaps & Vambraces
  
• 5 Maple Shortbows
  
• 1000 Adamant arrows
  
• OR
  
• 5 Magic sets which includes:
  
• 5 Robe sets consisting of: black Robe Tops, Wizard Skirts OR Leather Chaps & Leather Gloves
  
• 5 Air/Fire staffs
  
• 500 Bind spells (1000 Nature Runes, 1500 Water & Earth Runes)
  
• 500 Fire Blast spells (500 Death Runes, 2000 Air Runes OR 2500 Fire Runes).
  

Other requirements:

• TeamSpeak 3,
  
• Access to an IRC client (SwiftKit; for example),
  
• Maturity,
  
• Good understanding of the English language (we are an English speaking clan).
