Although, *any* theories you have by now from the anime are mostly correct. They could have ended Naruto at the conclusion of the Invasion of Pain Arc in my opinion. You can tell the writer is a huge fan of Dragonball from the recent fights, which is a step in the wrong direction in my opinion. I enjoyed the fights from pre-shippuuden alot more.
