Noxx Posted September 5, 2013 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Not really going to post any "information" about it, as it's easy enough to get what you want to know about the game using google/youtube. Just wondering who of you still plan on supporting the CoD franchise? Who's going to be buying Ghosts?What kind of changes to you hope to see in Ghosts from past CoD games? Personally i'm probably going to get Ghosts. I'm a really big fan of the competitive CoD scene. I watch the Championships, MLG Tournaments, etc. religiously. So i'd probably get it purely for that reason. Changes i hope to see? I hope there's better gun balance. One thing i feel Infinity Ward never managed to do, was balance their guns. In MW2 it was all ACR and UMP45. In MW3 it was all ACR 6.8 or MP7. I don't want to get killed by the same gun every time.Another thing i hope changes are the Killstreaks. In MW3 i feel like killstreaks were extremely underpowered. Air Support (Chopper, Pave Low, AC130, Reaper, etc.) All seemed extremely weak. Most of my Attack Choppers would get shot down before they even appeared on the mini-map. I'm not an extremely good player, so getting a 7 killstreak only happens about once or twice per game for me. So having my killstreak shot down before it even gets me at least 1 kill, was very frustrating.I hope knifing is similar to what it was in BO2. From what i've seen it is, so that's good news. But i still feel like in BO2 the lunges were a bit ridiculous sometimes. Along with knifing i hope movement speed gets slightly reduced. I feel like the only reason there were some extreme knife lunges in BO2 was because of movement speed. From MW3 to BO2 the movement speed seems to have almost doubled. I feel like the pace of the game is becoming too fast. I realise that they increase the pace of the game to keep competitive CoD a bit more upbeat, but i feel like it's getting TOO fast now. I hope matchmaking gets fixed. Being in the middle east at the moment is one of the biggest pains when i want to play any CoD. I keep getting matched with players in the US leaving me with 200+ ping (really bad 2 bar). I want to be able to choose the region in which my matchmaking takes place. This way i'd get matched with players in my own country (or at least continent) and i'l no longer have to suffer. Can't really think of much more right now, but will add whatever else i can think of. I probably won't be getting the Xbox One or PS4 anytime within the year so I'll end up getting it for the 360. As for the knife lunging, I hope it gets better. Not like MW2 or anything, but better than what it was in BO2 (I had multiple times where a foe and I would lunge at each other for minutes at a time trying to kill each other). I didn't mind the knifing in Black Ops. Other than that I don't mind too much on what else is added. I will be interested in seeing what the "remote control" dog is like though. Finally on here to update that I have officially quit! xVertigo Posted September 5, 2013 Share Posted September 5, 2013 I've already pre-ordered Ghosts for my XBox One. I'm pretty excited for it. I'm glad to see Death Streaks going bye bye. They seem to be working with the killstreaks as well, like UAV's are going to be little satellites you sit on the ground so you can just shoot them if you see them or hack an enemies. I believe there's a perk called Wiretap where you can stack them and increase their strength and functionality much like a Orbital VSat and such. The franchise shows no signs of slowing down, I think it will take an epic failure for them to crumble the series. In a way there will always be hope because if one fails most people just revert to the previous title and say, "Well I'll wait for TreyArch's" or "IW's" it'll be hard for two COD's back to back to fail. This game has no death streaks and im hoping since there will be dedicated servers (at least on pc) that there wont be any lag comp. The real problem with the game though for me was lag.Auto aim didn't just kick in when fully scoped. It did so whether you were scoped in or not. It was just a lot more noticeable when scoped in (as it is with SMGs/LMGs/ARs). On PC i cant snipe to save my life when i use a controlled because there is NO aim assist. I just hope there will be an actual server browser on PC, rather than the dedi matchmaking Treyarch had on Black Ops 2. If not, I'm hoping there will be a dedicated server browser mod like there was for MW2 and MW3. I also really hope they bring back proper "YY-ing", as it's called on consoles. It was terrible on MW3. And I really hope it has the general smoothness of Cod4 and MW2. MW3 didn't feel that smooth at all, despite basically being MW2.5 LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. League play I won't say hugely but on a weeknight there is an average of 4,000 people in Champ series, and weekends it doubles easily. As a way to find a "good team" you have to wait at least until about 5 days after the new month starts because it seems you got thrown into games with kids that don't know the difference between their a-hole and their elbows and you're playing on some deplorable connections because not enough people have been placed. The only way I suggest going in to League at the start of a new season right away is with at least 2 friends if not a full team. I'm interested to see what the exact "Clan vs Clan" will be.
