Marfinites
Hello! I've subscribed to the membership in order to play in the Oldschool. However when i try to log in with the correct account, it tells me to play the normal version of Runescape... I'm just buying the memb for the Oldschool RS. What can i do?... DO i need to create another account? I have already payed for this one... Thanks in advance.
Marfinites
Also, in the Rs Forum, says: "Your account is currently not eligible to post on the forums." whaaat?
Saradomin_Mage
Heyya You need to log in to the main game first and create a profile there. I think you can leave once the tutorial starts, and that should allow you into OSRS. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers. D. V. Devnull
@Marfinites, use the RS Official Wiki's Help @ http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/ to get a handle on your issue. You shouldn't have to start up something you don't want to be involved with in order to do something else. <_< ~Mr. D. V. "Always check the help system, duh!" Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.) Ammako
You shouldn't have to start up something you don't want to be involved with in order to do something else. <_<That would involve getting the limited OSRS team to implement some kind of account creation thing for the OSRS client, and I'm not sure how much work that would require. The way account creation is handled is way different to how it worked in 2007; when you create an account nowadays your character doesn't actually exist yet (no display name etc.)

Saradomin_Mage
You have to play on Runescape 3 and I think at least create your character/complete the tutorial. Only after that you can access OSRS on that account. I'm not entirely sure about this solution though, as I've only seen the problem being mentioned before in the OSRS forums. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

I'm not entirely sure about this solution though, as I've only seen the problem being mentioned before in the OSRS forums. This character is an old one, from the Old School time. Maybe it has something to do with the age of my brother? At that time, the account was not above 13. But now it should be... (since he is now above that age...). This is what Jagex Answered me: "Hi Galeyior, Thank you for contacting Jagex Customer Support. Mod TeaBan here to help. ^_^ It's great to know that you're into OldSchoolRuneScape Galeyior. Allow me to explain Galeyior, just so you know in order to gain access to OldSchoolRuneScape you'll need to have an active membership and your age must be 13 and above in order to play the version of the game. Here's a handy link about OldSchoolRuneScape. As ever, we always love to hear from players – so let us know if we can help with anything else – or check out our Wiki.If there is anything else I can do for you, please do tell me and I'll be more than happy to help you. Marfinites
Already done it, but it takes a while for them to answer... In the impossibility of changing the age, i would like to have my membership transfered to another account...I just want to play the real RS...
