1.1 About Me

 

Hi, my name is Jakavam! I started Runescape way back in '06 when I played it at school. I've quit a few times and made more then a few accounts, until finally I created Jakavm. It started as a DIY'er account and was pretty successful and even had a black santa hat from a christmas cracker. Eventually I got bored of DIY (still play it on this accounts OSRS) and sold my santa to get some started money.

 

I've never really been into just grinding for a 99, thats why my main and secondary goals are what they are, taskmaster and quest cape. I know it's still grinding but it's always been something I've wanted to achieve.

 

 

 

 

 

1.2 Short Term Goals

 

1) Keep Cash Pile above 50m (Currently 96m/50m)

This is because I love looking at my cash bag and I want to save money to eventually work on 99 Construction and finish building my house, I know it'll take more then 60m but it'll be a good starting platform.

 

2) Branches of Darkmeyer

I love the Vyrewatch storyline, so I really want to complete this next quest in the series.

Farming is probably my favourite skill and I've just started putting money into it so I'm now doing yew and papaya run every day, and a herb run as often as possible.

Got 62 Constitution, 60 Ranged and 59 Slayer from my grotworm task, this knocked a skill of my 60+ all and the slayer level means in 1 woodcutting level I can do Back To My Roots and finish the hard ardy diary. Also got a med clue from the task but reward was junk.

 

 

 

 

 

Did Grim Tales for the Woodcutting reward then cut vines south of Falador to get 72 Woodcutting. I then completed Back To My Roots, the rewards from which gave me 60 Slayer (another 60 down) and 68 Farming. Tomorrow once my vines grown I'll be able to kill it which is the last task in the Ardougne hard diary!

 

 

 

I then decided to go do the Laying Clarence To Rest miniquest which I eventually gave up on because I was there for hours and only got 4/6 body parts. I did however get about 150k in loot and a med clue scroll which gave me an extra 100k. Also levelled up a fair bit levelling strength to 60, Constitution to 63 and Defence 2 levels to 63.

 I'm now only 1 Runecrafting level and 2 Divination levels from 60+ all skills so I'm gonna work on that now.

Got 59 Divination and 60 Runecrafting last night, then this morning I got 72 Crafting from dailies and my Jade Vine died so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to complete the ardy diary. Anyway back to Divination.

 

 

 

 

Man I hate Divination but I finally got it up to level 60 which means all my stats are now level 60 and above. I probably wont work on milestones capes now unless im close to them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just been doing a bit of random levelling here and there and tidying up my bank and whilst burning some logs I got a firemaking level and unexpectedly got 1700 total level!

 

 

 

 

 

Getting rid of a load of oak planks I have got me 70 Construction and i've always just spent 20mil banking 70-80 Prayer, will work on that in the next couple days.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have my miscellania on 5 maples and 10 herbs and I try to keep on top of burning all the logs. Today that got me 75 Firemaking and allowed me to complete a Hard Seers task which I did straight away. I was also PKed whilst charging air orbs and lost all my cosmics so I need to runecraft more because I dont like buying things if I can help it.

Thanks! Although I feel like i've been slacking on quests because i've got quite a few fairly easy ones that I can do, I might knock them out over the next couple days through.

 

 

 

Currently working on 71 Smithing which, combined with a mature dwarven stout I'll be able to check off a varrock hard task and then I'll be able to check off the final one after my next tree run. Also in a couple hours I'll be able to fight my jade vine to finish ardy hard tasks.

 

 

 

 

 

Been slacking on shattered heart, I think this is only my 3rd statue. Also got 70 Farming so once my poison ivy grows that'll be my second to last hard varrock task done. Currently on 67/71 smithing for the other one.

 

 

 

 

 

Everytime I get bored I do a terrorbird of dragon bones and this time it's got me 75 + 76 Prayer, also my jade vines still not gone wild yet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally finished all the hard Ardougne tasks! Also 69/71 Smithing for hard Varrock tasks.

Knew goal for myself (along with getting 80 Prayer which I'll finish tomorrow or the next day) is to do The Temple at Senntisten,

Started working on the 64 Strength requirement for Curse of Arrav through Slayer and I got a hard clue so naturally I went and completed it straight away, turned out to be quite disappointing though.

EDIT: back to using this thread, Here's my current stats:

Used up a load of charms I had in the bank and got up to 65 Summoning. All I have now is gold charms but I dont have enough to get 66. I do want 67 for War Tortoise sometime soon though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Doing Slayer to get the charms for 67 Summoning (Maybe even 68 for bunyip). Had a terror dog task so did the miniquest that unlocks them getting 61 Slayer then completed my task gaining 61 Strength and a granite helm drop (only worth 26k but my first slayer drop). New task is 178 Cave Crawlers.

 

Finished that Cave Crawlers task and then a red dragon task (killed babys) and got 62 strength. With the help from some prismic fallen star things I've almost got enough charms for 66 Summoning then I'll only be a level off war tortoise.

 

 

Been fishing monkfish for a bit and just reached 70 Fishing. Might work on 70 base sometime soon.

 

 

 

 

New goal is base 65. Need Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Constitution, Slayer, Herblore, Hunter, Runecrafting, Dungeoneering and Divination. That seems like a lot but there all atleast 60 so it shouldn't take too long.

 

 

Decided to buy a couple herblore levels, went from 62 to 65.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back to Slayer considering most of my skills under 65 are combat related. I finished my bloodveld task by maging the mutated version getting 62 slayer, 64 constitution and leaving me 3k from a magic level. I got a fair few charms from that task aswell which I'm happy about although most of them were golds. Next task is 132 blue dragons, I think I'm gonna kill the adult variety this time instead of babies. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Realized I had enough charms for 66 Summoning so I went ahead and got it. 1 more level left till War Tortoise, might do some familiarisation then kill waterfiends tomorrow for it or I'll probably end up just slaying for charms since I need most of the combat skills to 65 anyway.

Got 72 Farming from my Daily Farming run then went Dungeoneering but after a couple dungeons I remembered how much I disliked it so left, I did manage to get 63 though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Decided to finally go and finish the desert medium tasks, so did Missing My Mummy (74 Magic) and Spirits of the Elid then completed the task. Now I've completed every medium task (except Daemonheim).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finished my Blue Dragon task, man that took a long time! I used some magic notepaper I had so I didn't have too bank but I only just had enough for the bones so I didn't collect hides. I got 2 Ranged levels (62) and a hard clue but the reward wasn't too good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Did another quest then completed a couple of daily challenges I had built up, got 63 Agility from the first and over 35k pure essence from the second.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Decided to carry on Questing so I completed Contact! (missed the finish screen) and the rewards got me 67 Summoning so I can finally use war tortoises.

 

 

 

 

Then I used up my dragon bones from the dragon task and just managed 78 Prayer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alright 65 base is on hold for now as I've been challenged to a race to 99 Firemaking. There about 8 levels ahead of me but there using maples and I'm gonna use yews/magics. More XP for me aswell because they can use our clans avatar.

Had a bad day today so all I'm doing tonight on RS is catching my butterflies (which just got me 61 Attack, Divination and Runecrafting) and firemaking.

Been doing a bit of bank clearing today. I started off by doing my Woodcutting challenge which gave me 74 Woodcutting (1 more level till magics) and then I used up all my planks in the hopes of getting my strange rocks. I only got one rock but levelled Construction to 71.

 

Next I set about doing some dailies and got 73 Farming from a tree run and 62 Runecrafting from my Wicked Hood.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally got round to doing my Agility daily challenge which got me 64 Agility. I might start using my surefooted aura every day at Ape Atoll to slowly work towards 70. Also the challenge finally got me my other Agility strange rock so now I need 1 Construction, 2 Thieving and 2 Hunter.

Dailies left me 7k from a farming level so will get that tomorrow, also guthixian butterflies got me 62 Attack and Divination. Now to work on the stack of battlestaffs, seeweed and sand thats been building up in my bank.

Decided to stop working on 99 Firemaking because next weekend I go away without RS for 3 week so I'd lose the race anyways, instead I'm back to doing whatever takes

my fancy.

 

 

 

 

I've decided to switch some of my kingdom over to gathering teak logs that I can use for construction. Today I decided to use some of them logs which got me up to 72 Construction. I'm loving the plank maker right next to the POH portal in Taverley.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally got round to collecting the strange rocks and completing statue #4. Also got a Thieving (66) and Hunter level (65) from collecting them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hunting for strange rocks again. So far got Woodcutting, Fishing, Fletching, Firemaking and 1 Cooking. Have just levelled Cooking to 75 though.

Finally got my 2nd Cooking rock after about 100k Cooking XP! Then moved onto Herblore rocks and that levelled me to 66. After that I went on a Farming run and levelled to 75 which means in 1 Woodcutting level I can use the magic seed I got from my kingdom and complete a Falador elite task!

Just got 75 Woodcutting and used my magic seed to complete a Falador elite task.

Was looking through my hard diary reqs I had left and I noticed I was only 3k from one of them (65 Agility) so I ran a couple of laps of the Werewolf course to get the level then completed the task it unlocked.

nice goals to go for :) i've just got my taskmaster after like 8 years :/ very rarely seen 100m in my purse during that time though!

Thanks. And I've only got that much because I got lucky on a christmas cracker and got a black santa hat which I held onto for ages. Also I don't really spend much money and try and be DIY as possible.

 

 

 

 

Been away for 3 weeks on a course but now I'm back!

 

Not got any pictures for last couple of days but havent really done much anyway. I did get 76 Farming today though and 65 Constitution. I've finally started working on 500 vyrewatchs cremated and I'm on 200 with 50 corpses which I;m collecting the oil for now. 

Next week is x2 Dungeoneering tokens week so I'm gonna dungeoneer asmuch as possible to get the two scrolls I'm missing (have scroll of life) and maybe bonecrusher/charming imp/Herbicide.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally got round to finishing off 68 Summoning, which means I've unlocked the use of bunyips which will be helpful for Slayer. At the minute though I'm mainly just pinning a task that I'm a couple of levels short of and aiming to complete it. My current one is a Seers' Elite task which I need 2 Smithing levels for and I have a Smithing daily challenge still too complete.

Got a lucky challenge to complete Another Slice of H.A.M just as I was looking for a quest to do so went and did that, reward from the challenge gave me 4k Agility XP. Then went and did some Fletching with all the supplies in my bank and got that up to 81.

Works getting the best of me lately and all I'm managing to find time for is dailies. Yesterday I got that white rhino thing and today off a 5 minute daily challenge I achieved 73 Herblore. The reward for that challenge aswell was 7 uncut dragonstones which isnt too bad.

 

Cant afford to really do much this weekend though and I hopefully shouldn't get called into work so I might get a fair bit of time to 'Scape.

Started a bit of a questing spree, also got a few random levels. Claimed some flame gloves aswell to burn the 20k maple logs in my bank. I dont really like firemaking since bonfires came out, I got 99 firemaking on a different account before they came out and I actually enjoyed it.

Also after horror from the deep I made all the illuminated gods books.

 

One more subquest for recipe for disaster which is Evil Dave and I'm just growing a cat before I attempt it.
