I just got my first task to kill them, but how should i? I know they are weak to arrows, but i don't got a high enough Herblore to make Super Antifires, i tried Handcannon + Antifire but the Firebreath still hits in the 600/700's. They are weak to arrows, so i was thinking about a Crystal bow ( the best i can afford, i guess) but then the issue about the lack of a DFS still remains.

There are a number of options you could take:

1) Train herblore, get the super antifires then come back to it

2) Try using deflect/protect magic to soak up some of the damage.

3) Utilise the next best options - they are weak to arrows, which means they are also reasonably weak to bolts and thrown both of which offer adequate 1h options to allow use of a dfs. Its always worth remembering when it comes to weakness the full combat triangle applies.

Top of the pyramid is their specific weakness

The next layer down is the rest of the combat class their weakness is within.

Third down (in most cases) would be their neutral style (e.g. range weakness would usually mean they are a mage and thus neutral to it)

Bottom would be their strong style (e.g. weak to range would usually be a mage and thus strong to melee)

Though third and 4th layers won't have a very noticeable dps difference and can get a bit mixed up as not all mobs perfectly follow the triangle (Celestials being a perfect example as ranged weak you'd expect them to be mages, but they melee)

1h options:  sagaie (lvl 72) --> blisterwood stakes (lvl 70, quest) --> armadyl cbow (lvl 70, expensive)

There always karils pistol crossbow as well and potential for death lotus darts, and chaotic crossbow - after all OP never said they didn't have higher ranged just crystal bow was the best arrow they could afford only meaning they can't afford 61m zaryte.

Forgot about the pistol but that's an even bigger waste than acb.

They said handcannon+crystal bow, that's why I didn't list any higher. Sounded like that was their best.

Celestials are easy to kill if you have the super afi's. No need to use prayer protect if you have those potions. Couldn't someone assist you while you made a few of the super afi's? I'll lend you a hand if you want to :)

I use chaotic c'bows there - but all type of range weapons are good. Just make sure to keep your distance from them =)

Request assist doesn't work for the untradeable potions

Duh! Did not know that :/

Reduced accuracy, relating to a % of that item's armor value. I don't remember if they made it follow the triangle or what, so just check and see which one reduces your accuracy the least.

It doesn't follow the triangle - it's just a general reduction which has now been expanded to all in armour (because in Jagex logic expanding the nerf was 'easing up on triangle enforcing')

Its a simple check:

If your helm, gloves, boots, body, legs or shield are not All, Hybrid or the same class as your weapon your accuracy is nerfed equally.

After Blisterwood didn't really work out that well (Really low accuracy, even with a range DFS) i decided to go with a Crystal bow. At first i tried ranging them at a distance, using antifire pot and protect magic, but i took alot of dmg. Then i decided to range them at Melee range, using Protect from Melee, wich worked out alot better, because at melee range, they don't attack with firebreath as much, and with Protect from Melee, their melee dmg is not that high.

Thanks for getting back with new experiences and tips! Nice :)

There shouldn't be an accuracy difference between blisterwood and crystal... Still, good to hear you found your strategy.

Sy, helm isn't included. And what I meant by the triangle was which way was a Higher percentage. Do you have the same accuracy with a melee Weapon while wearing Mage Armor as you do range Armor? Or will 1 of them have a slightly higher penalty?

And the penalty was eased up, incredibly so. Yes, it's affected by more spots, but it's based on that items Armor value, not a huge flat 10-15% accuracy per piece.

Blister is thrown, Bow is arrow, the dragons have a weakness to arrows (I know to ranging in general, but arrows in particular) Or am i wrong?

No, You're quite right. Especially at lower levels/weapons, the difference between exact weakness and style weakness is pretty significant.

I tend to forget about weakness and just think in terms of the style itself. Unfortunate side effect of being high leveled/geared.
