Mishari
I personally dislike PVP in Runescape but my friends who were Hardcore PVP'ers are saying that they're not returning to Runescape because Legacy have huge disadvantages in PVP. Is that correct? Anyone of you tried PVP after the launch of Legacy Mode? Cheers,Mishari Skillers ZoneTrue Skilling Excellence

I know that, but i would still like to know the difference.. does Legacy have a chance against EoC? If you are a rusher or doing pvp where no food is involved, then they are fairly equal from what I can tell. However, the longer the fight, EoC will always win due to stuns, bleeds, Debilitate, Sacrifice, and Devotion. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”“Mmmhmm.”

Major Dash
Nope. EoC has very little burst damage, but the damage reduction abilities, constant damage, and high ability accuracy makes it infinitely better than legacy's burst damage. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. Been duelling with my brother (level 120 like me) and he killed me everytime.. he used Legacy mode. hes special attack hits over ~2000 everytime while my ultimates only hits ~500. No idea if that is a glitch or on purpose.. Skillers ZoneTrue Skilling Excellence
Major Dash
What is your ability rotation and combat style? Also, remember that you should be using the same tier weapons, armor, prayer, food, and potions to keep those factors as negligible as possible. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. I was on Full Manual Mode, and we both had Ganodermic with Skill Capes and Vine Whip. we had everything the same. I even prayed one time and he still kicked my butt. Major Dash
I'll ask again, what was your ability rotation? I would try... anticipation -> backhand -> punish -> slice -> sever -> debilitate -> anticipation -> slaughter (if it hits) -> escape ---------------------- he should be more than dead at this point anticipation -> backhand -> punish -> slice -> sever -> debilitate -> anticipation -> slaughter (if doesn't hit) -> assault/destroy ------ repeat until dead I'm no expert at pvp, but this will be better than just clicking buttons. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. purpieman2
My prediction is that EOC will still have an advantage overall, but maybe jagex will tweak things around for PVP.
Major Dash
My prediction is that EOC will still have an advantage overall, but maybe jagex will tweak things around for PVP. Why? Why would they? They already tweaked things. They made a legacy only world.... “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. strilmus
it is pretty clear that they're trying to get old players back though, they just released a "rewind guide" to recap all of the crap people would have missed if they quit over eoc and are now coming back because they hear jagex shit on eoc to bring them back

Mishari
Considering they are a business company it's a good assumption that they ALWAYS need MORE money, regardless of how much they actually make. That is true, everyone seems to forget that Jagex IS a company and cannot survive without making money. - People think that paying for membership is enough for all the HUGE updates they want every week. Ammako
I spent a little bit of time at World 18 Edgeville low level wildy and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Wasn't really any pures, mostly higher level players in rune/nezzy/glory/d boots using whip/vine whip and whatever off-hand they could get, sometimes people in Dharok's, several people maging with pps or staff of light, sometimes people in royal with rcb (and then there's the people with chaotic maul and those with ags as well, and the rushers with d claws) People didn't seem to realize the mechanics weren't completely the same as pre-eoc. I've seen some guy mage in gano, but with Farseer helm, for example. But Edgeville was packed, which is nice.
V O R K
Yeah it's hilarious how people are still doing Rune scim - R2h too. However, I think some of them actually do know but refuse to give in. Some will just run if you spam 2h Rev caves people in almost every world :>. Had some epic mixed EoC/legacy 2 v 2 and 3 v 4 going on. Hope they stay :x Currently there is a bug that when you attack someone and your familiar attacks the opponent, you get skulled. Be wary!
