What's the fastest way of training Dungoneering solo?

I heard people can get like 300k+ per hour but I played 2-3 hours and still didn't get more than 150k. What am I doing wrong? I soloed my best floors at medium. I also had my prestige reset before then.

How do I solo for fast exp?

Every time you do a "prestige run," you should make sure to tick off every floor before you reset it.  Otherwise, you're going to have a massive drop in xp if that gets messed up.  Your "previous progress" should be equal to the number of floors you can do, or very close, in case you're about to unlock a new floor.

Now in terms of the actual mechanics, you probably know that higher floors give you better xp.  You want to do your highest floors on medium as you've said.  At your current level I'd do 30+ on medium.  Depending on your ability, you may find it better to c1 the first few floors or simply do them on small anyway.  That's about it in terms of what to do to get the optimal xp rate.

To improve efficiency, there are two aspects really: binds and keying skill.  You want the best 2h weapon you can use, ssh (silk screen hood, prevents being attacked first unless you attack NPCs), and probably a platebody for defense.  My information may be a bit dated though.  In terms of keying, you want to generally not waste time killing things.  Just open the doors and blaze through it as fast as you can, and finish the floor as soon as you find/kill the boss, except maybe for medium floors or if there are very easy doors to open,

One thing that may be affecting you is, oddly enough, changing back the combat level formula.  As far as I know, it only effects F2P, but it gives a massive penalty to higher combat levels.  Yours isn't quite maxed but you may be suffering if you are dging on F2P worlds.  If you don't mind, would it be possible for you to complete a floor (any should work) on small - open all the rooms, and find out the two numbers under "Floor X" and "Prestige X?"  I'm mainly curious.

I'm going to go out on a limb though and say 300k+ per hour is not possible at your level.  I had plenty of experience on F2P and the xp rate there is capped at 70.  Even with all my skills, maxed combat, and the unpenalized xp, I managed a bit over 100k/hr, so I would say your friends have a higher Dungeoneering level than you.

Don't forget things like Distractions and Diversions, i.e. sinkholes, can give you a nice boost to your dg xp, so you definitely want to check those out too if that's your main goal!

I had all floors previously completed before I started doing my last 10 floors on Medium. Also, what happens if you reset and decide just to jump to lets say 10 floors before your highest floor? Do you get less exp on that floor than you would've if you completed the previous floors?

I did small C6 on the lower floors but seems like I take like 8-10 minutes :(

I bind the best mage armour and best wand (and off-hand). Is that good to bind? I always just run across all doors except unless there's a Guardian or puzzle, I have to finish that. I also try to open every door possible.

I'm doing them on member worlds actually. I'm not on right now but I'll try to do it later. I felt very bored of Dungoneering yesterday and gave up when I found out I gained less than 170k exp in 2-3 hours.

Then how do people get more than 200k per hour by solo? Also, I've tried Sinkholes but they're confusing to do. I get some exp but the last part of it where there's 5 players to choose a card is the confusing part. I probably don't get the most out of it.

You can do them in any order and will not be penalized (when they're unticked), but if you're asking about resetting with floors still unticked, you will receive xp on your next run as if you had only completed 10 floors, so the equivalent of "Prestige 10" xp.  Your xp goes up exponentially fast with higher prestige, so this is something to avoid at all costs!  Unless maybe it's just one or two floors and you really have a group set up and ready to go.

Consider the following examples, starting off with all floors ticked off.

Example: Good - reset, do F25-34, then 1-24, then reset

Bad - reset, do F25-34, then reset again, skipping 1-24 (don't do this!).  On your next run you'll suffer a lot less xp.

I haven't done much dg since they switched around but you should be able to do half of that or less eventually.  Keep practicing!

Magic should be fine, although it was heavily nerfed at some point so it's not as overpowered as it was in the past.  Opening every last door is generally not the most efficient in terms of xp, but it's an issue of personal preference too.

As you level up more and unlock more floors, your prestige will get higher and xp rates will increase.  Try not to get discouraged and keep at it - when you unlock warped and occult floors you will be getting a little more xp :).

I'm mainly here to get Bonecrusher, Charming Imp and Herbicide. I might get Scroll of Efficiency if it works with Artisan's Workshop. I know that's a lot of coins but the only way I can get tons is by obsessively rushing floors.

You're right, I accidentally reset my progress and got a lower prestige when I didn't do enough floors.

I guess if I use Magic it's better to use a Staff than a Wand + Orb?

Dungoneering is the skill that usually turns me off. I sometimes get excited because of the rewards but at the same time, it's just very annoying. I sometimes just lose a lot of confidence this way.

Definitely do sinkholes.  I never did those, and then one day I tried them and was like "Why the heck haven't I been doing these all along?".  Since then I do my two every day and have gotten tons of tokens to buy everything I might want and my DG level has been steadily rising just from sinkholes.  All from like 15 minutes of work (fun) a day.  :D

In terms of maximum rates soloing I always find c2 smalls for the rush floors most effective.

The xp rates you get for a c6 small at those levels isn't worth the extra minutes.

As for the higher floors its all about learning the tricks to dungeon efficiently - e.g. how to path and gate, what potion you bind, the tricks for various puzzles.

I wouldn't say I'm really all that good of a dger but my c6 meds I average around 12-13 minutes, with the odd floor straying close to 20mins if I'm unfocussed or bad luck in terms of paths and gd room spawns.

Each floor nets me around 50-70k xp before you add in any bonus xp etc. So yeah thats a solid 200-250k xp an hour soloing pre-bonus xp.

And of course as other advised sinkholes are a god send. You can do both your daily sinkholes in one run (exit and immediately re-enter) and they only take ~15 mins for what can be a awfully good wedge of xp. The beauty of sinkholes as well is you don't even have to do that well in them to come out a winner - the placement of the 2-5th place chests is pure random and all 5 chests are shiftable with the right cards.

Of all the places only 5th has any real negatives to it, simply because of theft exposure thanks to thieving locust being able to take you prize at all turns. Where as other roles just have 1 turn of mantis, 1 turn of leech and the across the board risks of smoke devil and phoenix.
