Smpoinkkey
Starting yesterday, when I go to the RuneScape site and click play now, the resulting game screen appears very small, covering only a fraction of my window, the rest of the window is black. Upon logging into the game, the game assumes its correct re-sizable area, however all UI elements appear extremely small, similar to if the resolution was much too high, and my FOV seems to be wider than normal. Ideas on how to remedy this issue? Before posting, note a few things: I am working towards a computer engineering degree - thus, I am not illiterate with computers so I know that: This is NOT a RS settings issue. This is NOT a browser issue, unless somehow cookies or my cache has caused this. This is NOT and issue with the resolution of my computer. No settings have been touched, as I am the only user on this computer. RS worked perfectly two days ago, but upon trying to launch yesterday, this occurred. I have restarted my computer. I have relaunched both my browser and RS itself multiple times. I have re-run autosetup. All to no avail. On a possibly related note, I do not normally play in full screen mode, however when entering full screen now, playing on any resolution other than my computer's optimal (3200x1800) fails to properly fill the screen (I will still be able to see my browser or other tabs in the background of the RS "full screen" window which only covers a portion of the top left corner of my screen) UI and FOV issues persist in full screen. Arceus
Have you tried Edit Mode -> Tick '3D world editing?' Then you should be able to click and drag things, including the game window, to fill whatever size you want on your screen. If not, then I'm not sure... If not, then I'm not sure...I have. as I mentioned, while actually in game, the game window assumes the correct size. Increasing the UI elements to fill a proportional amount of space only results in a larger area for them and not an increase in the size of their contents/fonts. Arceus
I've never heard of a way to change the font size, but I wish you luck :/. How big is your monitor? Just curious because 3200 x 1800 is a high screen resolution, at least compared to my laptop screen :P. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Hedgehog
I'm unable to reproduce this issue. Does it happen when you use the client?
Smpoinkkey
Haven't tried. I'd prefer to not have to use it though... I've contacted support about so we shall see what arises.
