TimR7
Hi guys, I am currently trying to prepare my account for double exp weekend. I have all my crafting materials sorted but I need help with summoning, if you know any way in which I can farm crimsons (preferably 200/250+ an hour) it would be much appreciated. Here's a picture of my current stats so you can get an idea on what I can/can't do:
Arceus
Can you waterfiends? That's the best way to farm crimsons I believe. Also welcome to TIF! Sewage Kat
Just use a handcannon till 80, it's not like they're terrible xp
Arceus
RS Wiki has a list here but I don't see any viable alternatives aside from Waterfiends. I guess you could also make bonfires and hope for charms from fire spirits but that's going to be slow. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Sobend
Just use a handcannon till 80, it's not like they're terrible xpHandcannons blow up now :/. Even though he has 91 FM he's still going to go through a lot of handcannons. I personally would use a crystal bow or Karil's crossbow (waterfiends are weak to bolts) until level 80. If you do familiarization before waterfiends you'll get 3x? charms for an hour or so. -Sobend Proud to be free from the tyranny of pants. Hurrah! ilovecuttingyews
Melee isn't that bad for waterfiends assuming you've got at least chaotics.
Steph
Dual wield crystal chakrams are likely your best option for ranged until royal crossbow or chaotics. I would also recommend the familiarization dnd [2:21:46 PM] Baldvin | Leik: these comp reqs are so bad [2:22:36 PM] Arceus Dark: Time to get...req'd? Arceus
cannon+chin dags for 450 crims/hr I don't have soulsplit though? :( Train up a bit and do waterfiends then :P, really seems to be the best option. Much cheaper than Soul Split too. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." andriod09
cannon+chin dags for 450 crims/hr I don't have soulsplit though? :( you could also use blood spells Red Chinchompas are one handed, so if you have ancients, you can take blood barrage and set it to your offhand weapon. I'd advise using an abyssal orb, as that has a chance to save runes as blood runes are expencive as heck right now. But yes, the best place to get crimson charms would be waterfiends, if you can do familiarization before-hand, then you'll earn triple the amount of charms you would for half an hour, I believe. Also, train some slayer to get your combat up, it can provide decent amount of different charms per hour. If you don't have the Charming Imp from Dungeoneering, I suggest you get that as wel. He automatically picks up charms as you kill monsters and puts them in your inventory, or converts them to summoning XP if you tell him he can have those charms. I'd suggest picking up Crimson charmps, Green charms, and Blue charms at your level, if you have 'em. He's really handy. Good luck with your training, though! EDIT: I'm just one above your summoning level, so I can tell you that don't bother with gold charms. They're too expensive/experience points. If you have the Chamimp, then just talk to him, and let him keep the gold charms. Really racks up exp over time. 1 Yt'Haar-Andy|Andriod09, Vanguard to Armadyl, Loyal Servant to Zaros.
