Authenticator Glitch?

Due to this problem with authenticator i can no longer login to my main account until this is resolved so please someone help me..

 

Whenever i enter the authenticator code into the client it keeps telling me that the entered code is wrong, i've tried multiple codes and even copying and pasting it over but i still get the same result. Same problem on my companion app..
I've tried to disable it but whenever i ask for the email to be sent to me i never receive it.. this had me thinking that it could've been sent to the email that i use to login which was currently de-activated until i had to create it again (which i didn't know i could do until now..) once it was made again, i tried to send the email again but still don't receive the email.. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME, i've got so much time invested in this account and tbh would be really pissed off if i lost it over something as stupid and unknown as this..

 

I honestly have no idea how to fix this, is it my account or is authenticator glitching?

Runescape is a haven..

The authenticator changes codes every 30 seconds or something if my recollection is correct.  Are you sure you're typing it in fast enough?

Did you do an system update on either the Phone and Laptop?

Sounds like a simple time synchronisation issue. Can you triple check that your date/time and timezone is correct?

One way to fix it, is to deinstall authenticator and then reinstall it.

Another way is to deactivate authenticator in its entirety, however as you seem to have e-mail issues, I would advice contacting @JagexSupport on Twitter. They can fix that email issue for you rather fast.

I'll triple check my time and dates are correct but could you explain to me how to check correctly? I feel like a noob for asking..

I've tried to reinstall authenticator with no luck so I'll give te time and date thing an attempt if I still can't get it too work I'll contact jagex support.

But what do I say to them as I'm not sure where the problem lies?

Runescape is a haven..

It's key that the time on the authenticator matches the clock on the server end. It's what makes the codes so ethereal. Glad it's sorted.
