My RSN is 'Iron Hoarder' - not sure what to shorten this to, as 'Iron' seems pretty common nowadays ;), so feel free to call me whatever you like. I started this account at the beginning of December 2014, after a couple of years break from playing Runescape, and I decided to make this blog in order to document my progress and help motivate me towards my goals. IRL, I'm an 18 year-old in the middle of my A-levels, so don't expect my progress to blow you away... Currently hoping to go on and do economics at university, although that may be subject to change. Going to take awhile to get the formatting of this blog right, take a look, any constructive criticism is welcomed. Not sure if I should spoiler tag each section or leave it as it is. 1.2 - Current Goal Last updated - 29/03/2015Bank 2,000/20,000 cooked monkfishFinish Recipe for Disaster 1.3 - Stats I will aim to post an updated picture of my stats on the 1st of every month - conveniently started this blog on the 01/01/2015 :) [spoiler=Starting stats - 01/01/2015] 1.4 - Bank I will aim to do the same with bank updates as for stats updates, although my starting bank looks pretty pitiful :( [spoiler=Starting Bank - 01/01/2015] 1.5 - Skill goals [spoiler=Milestones]Base levels10+ - 09/04/201520+ - 17/04/201530+40+50+60+70+80+90+MaxTotal level100200300400500 - Achieved before start of blog600 - 05/01/2015700 - 14/01/2015800 - 18/01/2015900 - 14/02/20151000 - 08/02/20151100 - 24/03/20151200 - 08/04/20151300 - 18/04/2015140015001600170018001900200021002200Max Total Experience 100,000500,000 - Achieved before start of blog1,000,000 - 05/01/20155,000,000 - 10/02/201510,000,000 - 16/04/201550,000,000100,000,000500,000,0001,000,000,000 1.6 - Item goals [spoiler=Item goals]Amulet of furyAbyssal whipOccult necklace Void Knight armour - Melee helm/Mage helm/Range helm/Body/Legs/Gloves/Mace Robin hood hatRanger boots Dragon full helmDragon platebodyDragon platelegs and plateskirtDragon boots Bandos chestplateBandos tassetsBandos boots Armadyl helmetArmadyl chestplateArmadyl chainskirtArmadyl crossbow Staff of the DeadZamorakian spear Armadyl godswordSaradomin godswordBandos godswordZamorak godsword Odium wardMalediction ward Treasonous ringTyrannical ringRing of the Gods Dharok's helmDharok's platebodyDharok's legsDharok's greataxe Torag's helmTorag's platebodyTorag's platelegsTorag's hammers Guthan's helmGuthan's platebodyGuthan's chainlegsGuthan's warspear Verac's helmVerac's brassardVerac's plateskirtVerac's flail Karil's coifKaril's leathertopKaril's leatherskirtKaril's crossbow Ahrim's hoodAhrim's robetopAhrim's robeskirtAhrim's staff Berserker ringWarrior's ringSeer's ringArcher's ringSeercull bowMud battlestaff Slayer helmFire capeBarrow's gloves Dragonfire shieldElysian spirit shield (GL me) Trident of the SeasKraken tentacle Serpentine visageToxic blowpipeMagic fang 1.7 - PvM goals 1.8 - Previous goals and achievements [spoiler=75 Woodcutting and 50 Fletching and Firemaking]Completed 06/01/2015 75/75 WoodcuttingChopping enough willow logs for 50 fletching, then it will be oaks straight to 75 for construction. This is being done in order to give me some AFK time while I sort out this blog and do some work for school ;) Also I'll need magic logs for Desert Treasure and the unstrung bows from fletching should give me a bit of cash for a pickaxe and some armour. Iron Hoarder
So the first two posts in this blog I'm hoping to keep relatively up to date, we'll see how that goes ;) I use the client OSBuddy when playing Oldschool, which conveniently takes screenshots of all of my levels and quests completed, so here's the progress I've made so far I started my account in the usual fashion of getting a bit of food (1-5 Thieving from men, then 5-28 at the cake stall in Ardougne) before doing the starter quests. Quests completed Cook's AssistantRune MysteriesRestless GhostFishing CompetitionWitch's PotionWitch's HouseWaterfall QuestMurder MysteryDoric's QuestThe Knight's SwordTourist TrapThe Grand TreeSheep ShearerLost CityPriest in PerilNature SpiritFairy Tale 1 - Unlocked Fairy rings in Fairy Tale 2Fight ArenaVampire SlayerErnest the Chicken Giving me a grand total of 42 quest points. I've also done a trip into the wilderness with a looting bag to collect earth staves in order to purchase 4,000 fire strikes, of which I used roughly 2,000 achieving a rune scimitar drop from fire giants... Also managed to get a rune axe from tree spirits extremely easily, killed less than 10, and I also picked up a couple of mithril axes for the Animal Magnetism quest later on Otherwise, I've used the fire strikes on various quest monsters, and have done a bit of superheating with the natures I gained from tree spirits in order to get to 45 magic.Only hiccup I've had so far was needing a nature talisman for the Fairy Tale 1 quest, but luckily I achieved it within an inventory of cakes at flesh crawlers :) Now my account's got a decent base, and I need some time to do some school work IRL, I've set the following goal - Main goal62/75 Woodcutting Side goal 50/50 Fletching & 30/50 FiremakingThe plan is to cut enough willow logs for 50 Fletching (just finished) and 50 Firemaking so I've got the requirements for the quest cape out of the way, as well as being able to cut maple bows and make some money from the Kingdom of Miscellania, when I get it set up. After that, I'll most likely be cutting oaks all the way to 75 in order to secure supplies for construction. I may have a go at yews, but I'll reckon they'll be too slow until I've achieved a dragon axe and 80+ woodcutting. That's all for now, next update will hopefully be a picture of 70+ woodcutting and 50 fletching and firemaking. :)

Iron Hoarder
Good luck! Congradulations on both the Rune Scimitar and Hatchet! Thanks very much :) Actually got so lucky with both, especially the tree spirits. Made a bit of progress with my current goal - Only the small matter of just under 20,000 oak logs now :) Also completed both side goals, and went a bit further with fletching in order to skip maple shortbows and go straight to longbows when I get MTK going. Schizo
How many oak logs do you need for 75? Are you waiting to have all of the logs banked before you loot your bird's nests?
Iron Hoarder
How many oak logs do you need for 75? Are you waiting to have all of the logs banked before you loot your bird's nests? It was roughly 20k, but I did cut 1.4k yew logs as they were a bit more AFK, so you can see the total oaks I cut in the 2nd pic below :) Some great loot there, 3 magic seeds and a yew seed :o Should have enough oak logs for 72 construction, which is an easy 75 with the crystal saw from the Eyes of Glouphrie for the gilded altar :) Next up, 83 Hunter, for a lot of reasons - dragon implings, amulets of glory, cash, chinchompas etc. Might take me awhile this one, as it's less AFK and it's back to school tomorrow. Iron Hoarder
gl on 83 wrist-killing, i opted to go for the alternative route and went for 75 crafting instead... Thanks :) Yeah, was never a fan of hunter back when I played pre RS3, but the benefits are too great to not get it, and so far, I've actually had fun hunting, although that may be because I'm doing something else at the same time like watching a stream or listening to music. Progress so far, this was actually from Wednesday night, but I haven't played since then, so that's the current level.
Iron Hoarder
Hey again, little bit more hunter has been done :) 64 Hunter also got my 700 total. Currently taking a quick break from hunter to go and do 'The Golem' and 'Shadow of the Storm' in order to get the 10k combat experience lamp, which I'll use on range if I can and get straight to 20+.Will potentially train with iron knives to 30 at that point and use a willow short + iron arrows to shoot the chinchompas when they evade my traps '-' Was initially planning on doing salamanders to 83, but I figured since the red chins bots are down a bit, I should do them while I can, as I'll need them for range training later on.
Iron Hoarder
Right, so I've done a few quests since the last update, mostly because I got bored from hunter (mainly due to red chinchompas being so slow at 63+, I've moved to black salamanders now so should bang out levels a bit quicker) Quests completed - Sheep HerderRomeo and JulietDemon SlayerThe GolemShadow of the StormBlack Knight's FortressMountain DaughterMerlin's CrystalDruidic RitualDeath PlateauDragon Slayer :) Goal after 83 Hunter will be a stack of glories and then barrows gloves, potentially. (Also contemplating 70 agility through barbarian fishing and enough rooftop agility for full graceful)
Iron Hoarder
So I've done a decent amount of hunter, up to level 76 now, so got to double my experience once more for 83 :o I have been training with black salamanders for the majority, as red chins feel a bit slow, so I'll probably start them when I can use 5 traps, and I was pked at black chins before I'd even caught 50, so I'll only go back there when I have a means of escape (glory) and can maybe take a hit or two... Also completed a few quests - Goblin DiplomacyThe Lost TribeWantedGhost's AhoyAnimal Magnetism I tried out Puro-Puro for a bit after hitting 74 for Ninja implings, and I've got a few nice items - 3x dragon daggers, snapdragon seed, 9x amulets of power, various amounts of splitbark and mystic gloves/boots, so I have now got a bit of cash. Tried a bit of fashion-scaping... And again at fire giants, when getting 52 magic to boost to high alchemy...
Iron Hoarder
Tidied up my log piles a bit :) Roughly 600k to 80 Hunter, then I'll move on to red chinchompas.
Iron Hoarder
Monthly Update #1 So one thing I would like to do with this blog is to update it with a new bank and skills picture every month. It might be a bit boring at times, but I figure it'll be cool to look back on in the future :) So, stats - [spoiler=Stats update - 1st February 2015] [spoiler=Bank picture - 1st February 2015] So as you can see, I've got basically one half-decent tab, and a lot of junk |^_^| Give it a few months (years).I think I'll try and crop the bank pictures to be just the items next time, cut it down in size a bit... So, goals for February - 83 Hunter10+ gloriesStart fishing (Shilo Village, trout and salmon to 58, barbarian fishing to 62, monkfish (if Swan Song is do-able) onwards) Don't want to set goals too difficult, as it's quite a short month ;) Will have a week off at some point though, so looking forward to that. Iron Hoarder
Now all I need to do is find a dragon impling or two... Hopefully I'll be able to catch a few, and the things I want are a dragon bone drop, to get 43 prayer and make questing much easier, a bunch of glories for teleporting and combat stats, and a load of cash from alching. If I don't feel like hunting implings, I'm going to be fly-fishing to 62, at which point I'll work on the reqs for Swan Song so I can AFK monkfish whenever I'm on. Iron Hoarder
Been ill pretty much the whole time since I managed to get 83 Hunter, so I've only tried puro-puro for a couple of hours. Here's one inventory of loot, nothing special - But during the second inventory... Gave me 3 dragonstones, can't really use them, but the next dragon impling I found was a bit more useful. 41 Prayer from using them on the ectofuntus :) I'm also sitting on a 190k cash stack with a nice amount of runes (200 natures/100 laws/10k elemental runes/4k minds) This was using up the 3 crystal keys I had from puro-puro, hit the same drop 3 times in a a row (spinach roll and 2k cash) Going to focus on getting Swan Song done now, so I've got something to AFK for a good food source in the future. Iron Hoarder
Been working on the Swan Song requirements, going fairly well :) One Small Favour - 14/18 Herblore and 34/36 Agility + Shilo VillageGarden of Tranquility - 23/25 Farming + Creature of Fenkestrain101/100 quest points55/66 Magic62/62 Cooking62/62 Fishing45/45 Smithing50/42 Firemaking40/40 Crafting Yeah, I was splashing :/ Figured I might as well if I can fund it through impling hunting, it's extremely useful while I work on something and will probably be how I get 66 magic, bar a bit of alching. I would like to get 44 Runecrafting as well, but I'll need to mine roughly 7k pure essence, and that will be faster to do when I can enter the mage's guild. Iron Hoarder
Haven't played at all for about a week and a half, but I've got some stuff to show since my last update nevertheless. Also, I spent roughly 200k on splashing (I know, sue me), but I didn't have the time to play and 66 magic is going to take awhile without alching/combat runes, so I figured why not. The best piece of news however, is I logged in just now, and there's a dragon impling right next to me. He proceeds to give me this... Now I just need to do the Heroes' Quest and I'll have a few useful teleports :)
Iron Hoarder
Big level :) Allows me to mine pure essence at the Wizard's Guild, which is somewhat efficient (Zulrah/Wyverns being a bit far away at the moment) so I'll be able to start runecrafting soon. I need to get a mud rune from the Mage Training Arena, then I'll do the Eyes of Glouphrie for 23 RC, and I'll probably craft fire runes to 44. Iron Hoarder
Quick update, I want to try and update more often cause there's a decent amount of stuff I'm doing that isn't getting noted down :o Swan song requirements One Small Favour - 26/18 Herblore and 35/36 Agility + Shilo VillageGarden of Tranquility - 23/25 Farming + Creature of Fenkestrain111/100 quest points66/66 Magic62/62 Cooking62/62 Fishing49/45 Smithing50/42 Firemaking42/40 Crafting Troll Romance is another goal, as it gives 8k agility experience which is potentially worth it for the future well-being of my wrists. I do need 43 prayer though, since there's a few tough quest bosses to kill, (could probably safespot, but much easier with prayer). On the 44 runecrafting goal - Mined 5k pure essence, now I just need to use it :) Might need a few more glories though, as it's going to be annoying recharging every 12 trips... Iron Hoarder
Currently waiting for some barley to grow for the Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf, so I thought I'd update on some of the quests I've done lately Shades of Mor'tonDigsiteShield of ArravHeroes' QuestGertrude's CatEyes of GlouphrieThrone of MiscellaniaThe Giant DwarfPlague CityBiohazardDwarf Cannon The quest cape will definitely be a goal after I've caught and cooked maybe 10k monkfish following Swan Song, as it will give my account a really solid set of stats. Will be quite long term though, considering some of the skill requirements (50 RC and 57 Herblore, I'm looking at you).
Iron Hoarder
Done a couple of achievement diaries, I think just the easy Varrock, Lumbridge and Karamja ones at the moment. Used some of my iron knives on cockatrices for 50 ranged, killed 424 in total, with only one clue, which seems a bit off :( Got this level from the Karamja achievement diary easy reward, definitely going to help with questing, so I might do Monkey Madness next.
