Best method of training construction

Currently I'm level 68 Construction, and I'm making Mahogany tables in the dining (which is kind of quick - I've gotten from 58-68 in about 2 hours today) but I was wondering if there was a quicker way. Also, money isn't really an issue. I'm trying to get to 75 for a Gilded Altar. Technically I've got 75 banked, but I was still wondering if there was any quicker methods. Even for after 75 as well, because I want to get 99 eventually.

They are the best and most recommended way to go to 99.

In case it helps, you are aware that you can boost to 75 to make a Gilded Altar, right? In fact according to RuneScape Wikia you could do it now if you wanted. Check out their page here if you're interested (under the Requirements section)  :).

You have 68 construction, so you can make an alter already! From Arceus' link to the wiki, you need a crystal saw and teak shelves in your kitchen to make tea. Tea gives you a +3 visible boost, and the saw gives you a +4 invisible boost, which allows you to build lvl 75 things.

But yeah, THE fastest way for construction is mahogany tables.

Now I am wondering if mahogany tables are the quickest as well if you are cutting the logs yourself (for ironman), or if cutting oak logs in fremmy (near house portal) giving them to your butler and making oak larders would be quicker?
