Grand Exchange

It will be interesting to see how it plays out, and in particular what happens to the exchange rate between the gold in both games. Speaking of which, might anyone have a reliable history of OSRS gold : RS3 gold exchange rates? :P

I find it interesting how so many wanted old school to go back to the good olds days before x y and z. Yet as the game develops lots of x y and z are being voted in to the game.

It begs the question to me is there going to be a point where the community that was largely founded from 'we whined until they made us our own game' will rebel and whine for an new old school because they have decided its jumped the shark again.

With X, Y and Z being EOC, microtransactions and the death of pvp for majority of the players, they are still pretty much on track.

The trading post just does not work, people abuse it way too much, posting false offers, have their pms off, try to scam or lure you etc.

In my opinion, the best option would be adding the ability to buy and sell items straight off the trading post without having to interact with the player. I like the fact you can see a list of offers and who you are buying from and there is no 'ge price' that can be manipulated by groups of people. I also hate the trade limits ge has in place to stop manips(which clearly do not work!).

Did the G.E. have quantity limits from day one? Of course, there was the 5% cap on buy/sell offers in terms of price but I seem to recall being told that there were no limits or more lax ones for a while...
