Dusk Souls
So, yesterday night I got extremely lucky on treasure hunters and I got a Lucky Armadyl chainskirt on my brand new account, obviously I immediately cashed out it for 4 mill, and after buying soem prayer levels, a set of fremenik rings (which I had never owned before) and some herblore ingredients. I have about 2 mill left in the bank, and I was wondering if getting an amulet of fury (around 1 mill according to the wiki) would be a good idea right now, I know there are much better amulets out there, but most of them require high level skills which I don't have. Ammako
In any case, the price for Amulet of fury shouldn't really go down, so you would be able to sell it back at minimal loss should you decide it wasn't worth it. Unless you have other things you need to buy, I would go ahead and get it. Otherwise Amulet of glory is only a little bit worse, but costs less than 20k. Arceus
What are your current skills/alternative equipment/stuff you could buy instead? If we know that it would be easier to make an assessment. However, in terms of pure value, I would say go ahead and buy it. The fury price can't drop any lower because it's resting on alch price, so it's not like it will crash should you decide to swap it for something else later on. Dusk Souls
It is a brand new account, it has less than 5 hours of gameplay, my current stats are 30 Atk/Str, 15 Constitution, 14 Def, 10 range, 11 Magic, 43 Prayer, 33 Crafting (due protean leathe from Treasure hunter) and everything else is at level 1 Equipment of note, Berserker, Archer & Seer ring, Obsidian cape and a full Spider Silk set which I crafted while training Magic on Corpse spiders in Lumby catacombs. Arceus
Definitely go for it then. You can sell it later on in favor of an even better one when you get higher stats . Dusk Souls
In a somewhat related note, should I wait till cbl 40 before starting slayer?
karnsy81
Ehh, possibly. It doesnt hurt to start slayer NOW, and then if you get a task that you cant do, train up till you can do it .
Arceus
You can complete the quiz at the Varrock museum to get a free ride to level 9 Slayer. You can also spend things like Penguin Points and Tears of Guthix/other weeklies/dailies on it as you have them available. You need to be a bit higher combat but once you get to like 70s in melee stats you can try your hand at Soul Reaper tasks and get a nice daily chunk at that point. So there's no real rush, you could go at it either way. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Dusk Souls
There is no real rush, I simply don't know what to do; I haven't played RS3 in a long time and I got bored of OSRS. So I'm just defaulting to the things that I enjoyed before.

Arceus
The fury price can't drop any lower because it's resting on alch priceHigh alchemy 121,200 coins according to both, official and unofficial wiki.??? The only way to obtain an amulet of fury is from an uncut onyx, which has a high alchemy value of 1,080,000. So it would not make sense for the price to go lower than that, by simple supply and demand reasons, unless people somehow decided tomorrow that there was a massive oversupply of them in the game. Autumntempest
a blood fury would immensely help with low level slayer I guess, if it is affordable to you.
Arceus
a blood fury would immensely help with low level slayer I guess, if it is affordable to you.Doesn't that require like a 20M priced shard (blood necklace shard) to make? And also 80 Crafting, but I suppose that could be assisted. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for."
