Who is that moron who keeps interrupting me in the wilderness while I try chopping these blood trees?

Are you referring to the fact that the logs crumble to dust if you walk a couple steps away? You need to fletch them on the spot, otherwise they disappear.

You assume correctly @ Arceus.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be?~ Marianne Williamson

Well maybe you should talk to the NPC? I believe she goes by the name Mami Rimba.

Thanks, now she is not interrupting me anymore, I don't have the woodcutting level, but that's the only thing that's stopping me now.

I find it incredibly stupid that I have to talk to some moron before I can even cut a tree.

How the hell can she talk to me all the way from Edgeville anyway and tell me to stop when I'm at the other way of the fence far north in the wilderness?

Does she have psychic powers or something? She doesn't look like it.

No, I'm referring to the fact that every time I try chopping them some moron interrupts me and says "You don't know what these things are. Talk to me in Edgeville.".

You answered your own question, go talk to the moron in edgeville :3

Magic? I'm not particularly sure what the lore rationale is but this is not an uncommon theme for video games and such.

At least she is less creepy then professor oak in pokemon, who is always stalking you where-ever you are to tell you that you cannot use your bike in a house or on water ;) She is only stalking you in the wildy :P
