Oh wait.. 200 drakes, massive amounts of players, constant disconnections, being unable to log in for several minutes after DCs...I can't handle this chit. Rendering 200 fancy pets in their full glory has to put some drain on it. And I'm pretty sure pets in general cause lag in large numbers. They have disabled them in the past, haven't they? The crater was a follower-free zone for the Christmas event after all.Also, this may be neither here nor there but in recent memory there have been times that people have released huge amounts of things like clockwork toys that spawn as NPCs and have caused worlds to crash, so saying that a ton of pets couldn't possibly have anything to do with seems quite ignorant.
