RS 3 Moneymaking experimenting and having fun

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys, my name is William or Kalgnar - online. I'm a big fan of MMOs and I spent most of my childhood playing runescape - it's time to come back :P

Since I blew most of my money before I quit, I'm rather poor right now, and I would like to try a suggested moneymaking method - then make progress series out of them. Check out my stats video! :)

And please tell me what do you think, thanks!

Hello, and welcome to TIF! Considering you have maxed melee combat along with 85 Herblore, QBD might be a good boss to try and make money on eventually (particularly if you have a royal crossbow in your bank). You will of course need super-antifires which you can make.

If you want to try something easier you could check out GWD bosses which are not too bad and can make some cash. Frost dragons are relatively straightforward but as you mentioned, will require some investment in training Dungeoneering before you can access them. You also mentioned Runecrafting - if you want to make double cosmics, that nets about 1M/hr. You need level 59 Runecrafting for that, but you can participate in a skilling minigame called Runespan that greatly speeds up training to get those levels relatively quickly. For the most part though, skilling methods are quite outclassed by combat these days in terms of moneymaking. It would not hurt to train up Prayer either as you acquire some GP, as Soul Split/Turmoil/Torment/Anguish are quite useful, especially for higher level bossing.

"Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art?

1M/HR for double Cosmics?!  Thanks for that great advice...did not know Runecrafting was so profitable!

"He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure." ~Isaiah 33:15-16
