Comp (t) in 3 Years?

Hey everyone!

I am currently working on a short- / long-term goal of DIYing a set of Ascension Crossbows. After that, I plan on working on Comp / Comp (t), and am planning to get Comp (t) when I unlock the 10-Year Cape in 3.2 years. Do you all think it will be possible for me to Comp (t) in that amount of time? When I'm dedicated to the game, I can play for five or six hours a day. But I sometimes go weeks without playing. So I'm not sure if it can be done. I can put my remaining reqs below, but the list is long. I've done all quests/tasks, and have 90+ all skills w/ 99 wc and a few 95s.

Thanks!

Your #1 priority should be minigames on spotlight since many of them give bxp / actual xp from rewards & combat or other activities in them that will help you slowly max by the time you're done profound

Inefficiency = fun. That's objective and can't be debated. Ever.

The biggest barriers to comp (t) is several of the long ass/heavy rng based reqs.

Max MA rank, Full profound, Chompy Kills, Champs Challenge, kal'ger titles etc.

If you can find ways to work them into your other training etc all the better. Champs challenege and profound are prob the big 2 cause scrolls are so overly rare and even at the best speed possible it likes 80 odd in-game hours to full profound.

Yeah, I agree: the biggest obstacle for me will be the minigames, as you both have said. Is it really just 80 hours for profound? I don't like MA or Conquest, but I feel like I can manage them well enough. I read that Profound was almost 800 hours, so I was really worried about that. But I'm pretty patient, so I can easily do 80.

All of my skills are 90+ except two, I have all quests done, currently working on all Elite tasks, and Ports is totally done minus "Guardians of the World" which I'm working on now. I think I can do it if I work the minigames into my regular training like you guys suggested.

Yeah I think he missed a zero. It's definitely in the mid to upper hundreds.

edit, detailed analysis of how long it takes:

Ah, thanks!

So even under the best conditions, it's 250 hours. So I will probably be looking at 700+. Unless I can find the most effecient FC willing to only do CWars every 42 days. :P

Yeah, just work on doing it via thalers when it's on good minigames for skilling (sc, heist, ba) and do other comp/trim stuff in the meantime. I wouldn't do castle wars at all until you're already maxed or maxed minus combat

Yeah I meant 800, epic typo!

In terms of getting that req done, unless you wanna put a bunch of effort in I'd run with the assumption of the 795 hours 'standard' time being required and anything you do to beat it faster is a bonus.

Also it does have some bearing on the 795 hours that you can factor in other reqs to that by chasing thalers - ie you should be able to get the MA rank, barb king kill, conquest rank and the sometimes elusive trouble brewing music tracks whilst doing thalers.

Okay, sounds good. Thanks again for all your help guys!

So first priority: Chasing Thaler for Profound, MA ranks, etc. Then working on my slowest / most hated skills to get them out of the way when no good minigames are up. Other than that, I'll be knocking out trim reqs whenever I get the chance.

Once you decide to do castlewars you should be doing it in a sac team so you can get wins only.  There are a few threads on the forums for this.

Drygore Drops: 7 Longswords, 3 Maces, 3 Rapiers, 3 Off-hand Rapiers,  5 Off-hand Maces, 3 Off-hand Longswords

ROTS Shields: 12  Seismics: 16

Ascension Crossbows: 6  Spider Legs: 10

Countless Armadyl armour pieces, Saradomin amulets, Dragon Hatchets, and Fremenik Rings.
