Just got back after 1300 days of no RS

Hi guys,

 

Just logged in after a while and everything's changed - guess you hear this a lot. My friends list is all red and I don't know where to start! Really eager to get back into it, though.

 

I decided to limit my initial questions to you guys to these:

1. Does anyone of you have good getting-back-to-RS-guide? 

2. Is there a good location to get a bit back into it?

3. Do partyhats still hold their value?

Well there is a TON of new content and stuff since you last played.  I think youll have to just start working on stuff and find out organically.  Not sure your stats but if you can get into the New Elf City go, if not get the stats and get it.  Party hats are still very valuable and some are worth far more than their GE value suggests.

The combat styles have drastically changed, luckily Legacy is somewhat similar to the old combat system, but sadly at the moment it's still nerfed when comparing to Evolution of Combat combat style.

The game is also now a lot more practical and there have been some good & bad changes. Still, I hope you enjoy your stay in RS and here with us! :)
