Advice to high lvl pvming_ road to being Elite

so I have a overall goal to be a master pvmer but at the moment I am stuck between the choices of goals to achieve first. So I am asking the high leveled community for advice. I am not a great quester. So I have not unlocked a lot of the grand master quests that a unlock awesome monsters, etc. And I only get to play a hour or 2 day max until I fix my laptop. I know I should work on dungeoneering but I absolutely do not like doing it very much. And I do not have that much time to do so I feel like I should use the little time I have towards faster achievable goals because I have my laptop back. So should I work on summoning , or making money to work on my prayer/herb and or t90 gear or what is your advice. sorry if I have missed a lot of info on this post.. I currently have full Bandos full subjugation and full armadyl armor. I have a sgs, sol, armadyl c-bow. God has already gotten enough materials to get 70 smtraining at hellhounds in Taverly,I already know about training at hellhounds in Taverly, or training at Waterfiends with melee to get Crimson charms. I am a old school player that is finally getting with the times. ( slowly after eco) I don't have much cash back at the moment so I'm open to all suggestions.

Hey!

So your main goals should be maxing and making money. One of the better ways to do that is to train all combat skills (including Prayer, Summoning, and Herblore) through Slayer. The drops from Slayer are pretty profitable, and it's a nice way to cut out some tertiary ingredients, which will save you money. I don't like DG either, but try to get the Charming Imp and the Bonecrusher, at least. They're lifesavers while grinding for 99s. Your t70 armor is fine for now, so don't worry about upgrading that until you start doing some of the bigger bosses. You also want to get into Prifddinas for Combination Potions, which are great for bossing.
Once you manage most of that, and you're close to maxed, you can start doing QBD, GWD/GWD2, and some other mid-tier bosses for money. Use that money to get Drygores, boots, gloves, food/supplies. Then you can start finding teams for some of the bigger bosses. It's going to take a lot of time to start PvM'ing, but you'll get there sooner than you think. Just remember to take some time off and do something else, even if that means just training something else. :)

But wouldn't grinding stats like def at abyss with blood burst on def for fastest xp, and for melee training attack and strength with nox or dragonrider dragonrider lance be a faster route? Just until I am able to spend more time on slayer? How long does it take roughly to get the imp soloing? And any advice with doing dungeoneering? Like floors, rushing, and that shindig? I get how it all works, but curious what's best to do? Mediums for last 5 floors or so? Larges seem to take a lot of time if I were to just do another medium in the same time? any other random advice. Like a booth and love to wear and anything else I could use. I have barely caught my runescape swag back to speed since eoc. Bwhen barrows was legit with 8m d-helms.

Thanks for your advice previously. I plan on doing a lot of slayer but with my current situation not and want to play more than an hour today I am just trying to maximize my experience on money game with what I am working with.

Those methods are indeed faster but generally more expensive. In terms of Dungoneering and earning tokens it's a lot of different variables (your skill levels, pvm ability, dungeoneering level itself). Once you get to higher levels around 10k tokens/hr should be possible. The charming imp is 100k, and bonecrusher 34k (+ presumably tokens for a necklace to get prayer restore). Smalls/mediums are what I did personally, with medium for my top few floors. Large floors are effective if you have a well-coordinated team knocking them off, but otherwise it can turn into a disaster. If you really despise the skill you could do sinkholes daily and try and pick up the tokens prize there, which can contribute a decent amount of tokens over time.

"Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art?

Training in the Abyss is one of the fastest options, but it's also one of the most expensive, especially if you're using Magic. If speed training is important, than the money you have to put out won't matter as much. That's a decision only you can make. :) As for Dungeoneering, the Charming Imp can be bought for 100k Tokens, which requires ~73 DG. You can get it at lower levels if you happen to get some Tokens from TH. If you're doing solo floors, it's best to do c1s for the first half of your floors, and then c6s for the second half. The best XP is to do c6 5:5 floors, so you might want to find a team or check out any of the free leech FCs in RuneScape's Teamwork forum. With a team, it will only take an hour or so. For boots/gloves, you can get t70 (Armadyl/Bandos/Subjugation) boots and gloves. There are other options, but most of them ar equest rewards. The t70 boots/gloves will be fine until you upgrade your armor later. If you're very short on cash, don't worry too much about boots/gloves; they're nice, but they won't make or break you.
