RuneScape Information

  1. o.O I apologise then. I thought Chaotic was a better name tbh. Chaotic really does sound better. Maybe they changed it to reflect that Bilrach is currently living there with his horde of powerful monsters.
  2. You've got to think that you also hit *10 as hard when you hit an NPC, in this case the Corporeal Beast. Based on that it shouldn't take any longer now to kill the CB then it would have before. You'll just bit hitting a lot higher each hit, but to counter that the CB's HP has been increased. I know. I just felt like being a nub there. But you gotta admit, 20k HP is kinda imposing.
  3. Remember, the RSOF is home of trolls and morons. In other words, no loss. Just some 10 years olds upset that Runescape will make them do a little bit more math.
  4. Wait a minute...Because of the Constiution multiplying everythings HP by 10...That means... HOLYWTF BURGERS BATMAN! The Corporeal beast now has 20000 HP!!! Ladies and gentlemen, as of now, we are [cabbage]ed
  5. Guys? The Runescape Front page is busy exploding now. For some reason, the "important" Shattered Hearts update is now 3rd on the list. WTF JAFLAX?
  6. Mecha Overlord. I love robots. Super or real, big and small, overpowered and stylish, but not beam spam. I hate beam spam mecha. <_<
  7. First Article: I feel the same way. I was originally a bit disappionted that BTS was being halted, since I did enjoy taking peeks at upcoming content. In the end though, I realised that the content quality did continue to climb, as it was promised. I also learn that its fun to log onto Rs each day and be shocked by a brand new quest, an update to a skill, or anything for that matter. The new system works fine, no matter what the RSOF says. Second Article: Why do I play? For the purpose of having a good time, sharing some laughs with other Tip Iters, and to go as far as I can. Sure, I'm still pretty far to go, considering my highest skill is only in the 70s, but I'll keep playing to go as far as I can. Did You Know: Honestly, something I did not know! Sure to be handy to me when I fletch all of those Maple Longbows soon.
  8. Okay, prepare yourself dude. Whole lotta updates since then. First thing is first. To combat macroing and RWT, which was getting out of hand, Jagex released a trade limit. With it, you can't just be given a full Rune G Set by some stranger, you have to pay the according to how much it is on the G.E. More on that in a bit. They also "Removed" the Wilderness, as in, it is no longer a PKing area. Instead it is patroled by Revenents, incredibly powerful ghosts who will destroy you in your unprepared. They can poison, use all 3 corners of the combat triangle, freeze you, and teleblock you. Also, they have food and Anti-Poisons they use. Yaaaaay. Because of these updates, almost every bot and many RWT traders, along with some enraged PKers, quit Runescape. Some extremist that still play call this, "The Day Runecape Died." On the features of the Trade Limit: You can raise how much you can get/ recieve by getting more quest points. At about 250 Points or so, your maxed out at 60000 gain/lose a trade. This also decreases based on trades. Example, if you randomly give some 1k, then the maxed total would decrease to 59000. This would revert to normal after 15 minutes. The G.E was also introduced, and it a rather handy system located in Varrock. You can go there and buy or sell items on the system, which makes it much easier to sell items to those who want it, and buying the items you want or need. Each item is given a price, which can flucuate at times based on supply and demand. This base price also has a small, useable area next to it in terms of price, as you can chose to buy or sell 5% lower of higher then the base price, or somewhere inbetween. These are called minimums and maximums. A rather simple system, really. Alas, the G.E has its flaws, the infamous Merchanting Clans. These clans have a leader, who chooses what item to buy. After that, the entire clan completely bus out that item, leaving no supply and creating huge demand. When the price gets high enough, the entire clan dumps their items, hoping to gain a profit. This causes some clan members to lose large amounts or cash, and crash the item as well, making it nearly worthless and the supply begins to surpass the demand. Last year, PvP Worlds were released, where only banks and certain other areas are non-PKing spots. It was rather popular, and used a risk factor. To get good drops, you needed to carry aound at least 26k on F2P worlds, and 76k on Member Worlds. It was common for members to abuse this with a single expensive weapon and Protect Item though, called "26king" or "76king." The world originally dropped rare and valuable items, such as Dragon Full Helms, which had previously only dropped from Mithril Dragons. This was fixed and replaced with more common items to stop a market crash. In a recent update, entering a PvP world causes you to be instantly and permenatly skulled during your stay, as well as disabling Protect Item. There has also been a very popular in game update in 2007: The God Wars Dungeon, a once frozen battlefield that has thawed, letting the frozen combantants free to battle once more, unknowing that their Age has long since passed. Inside, a multitude of new items revealed themselves. The Steam Battlestaff, the Saradomin Sword, the Zamorakian Staff, the Bandos Armor, the Armadayl armor, and above all else, the Godsword. This weapon is made of 3 shards found in the dungeon, being dropped by each areas boss or their bodyguards. Each section also contains a hilt the Godsword can use, one each for Saradomin, Zamorak, Bandos, and Armadayl. Though the stats are the same, the Special Attacks of each Godsword differ. Saradomin's uses your power to unleash a normal power strike, but it heals your HP by 1/2 of what you hit and your prayer by 1/4. However, you will always recover at least 10 and 5, so even hitting a 1 will be good for you. Zamoraks is an unusual Godsword, as its special freezes the enemy in place for 20 seconds. It has little use in PvP, but it can be handy in Castle Wars. Bandos Godsword are very common and cheap, because his dungeon is usually the "easiest." Its effect involves dealing 10% extra damage, and whatever damge is done is drained from the enemies Defence. Any excess is drained from other stats. ...Thats all I can think of right now. Hope that helps!
  9. Truly an awesome update. Too bad I'm suffering from this glitch that doesn't give me the "achievment" of stealing a Nature Rune from the chest. <_<
  10. Heres something from awhile ago. I've just been too lazy to upload it. Anyway, SNUGGLYLOVE RETURNS!
  11. That is a funny pic, but I'm still able to ready quite well that he followed that statement with "Whoops." Therefore, he is not total noob. :
  12. You...are...GOD. To be honest, I haven't found noobs lately, except this one guy who justs keeps PMing me and asking for unbelievably large amounts of GP.
