A bit of backstory. I played way way way back when. (Started with the release of RS2, left the game shortly after farming was released). (Achieved something like 1200 skills, I forget exactly). I came back for a short time after dungeoneering was released. At that time, I had a major security leak, and a number of my accounts (RS and otherwise) were compromised. I did manage to regain control of my RS account, but when I logged in I found everything, including my money, gone. I was pretty frustrated over this and left the game again. Sometime during my year+ absence, my account was compromised again. (Most likely immediately after I left the game, it took me a while to fix my many security issues.) I tried to come back to the game approximately a year ago, but was unable to access my account. When I tried a password recovery, it said my registered email was wrong. (Obviously, whoever took my account changed my registered email). I emailed Jagex (Their accounthelp address) 5 times over the next year trying to get control of my account back, the last few emails containing very specific billing information. I never once got a response back from them. Finally about a month ago I started a new account - still adamant about getting my account back, but wanting to check out the changes to the game. On a whim, I submitted a ticket a week ago or so, and received an actual response. The mod who responsed helped me finally regain access to my old account. So here I am, ready to hop on my old account and try to rebuild everything I had lost a couple years ago. I try to log in "Your account has been disabled". Ok fine. I log into the account page to see what's up - and I see that the account received a permanent ban for macro/goldfarming. (There were 3 offenses listed). I submit an appeal for all 3 offenses (originally I only submitted one, but after a couple of days of no response, and no response to the ticket I submitted, I slowly started appealing the other 2. Just submitted the appeal on the 3rd today), noting that my account was compromised and I was not the one committing the offenses. After a week I still have no response on either the appeal, or the new tickets I've sent in. I'm wondering from anyone who may have any idea two things #1: What are the chances I actually get my account back? #2: How long should I expect to wait for a response? After all the emails I've sent over the past year (the first 4 were sent about 3 months spaced from each other, the 5th was about a month later), and never getting a single response, I'm sort of not expecting one at all, and keep considering submitting more tickets hoping for a response to one. (Or maybe the response I got on the new account I created was a fluke?). Would submitting more help? Or should I just accept that I'll never get a response or my account back, and move on? If anyone has any insight, it would be appreciated.
