  1. Hi, I received my first Nihil slayer task and am really unsure as to how to go about it given the varied nature of the Nihil in terms of attack types and weaknesses. Is there a preferable combat style to use? Given there are three of each type, is it considered more sensible/efficient to stick with one or two type of Nihil because they have similiar weaknesses or their attacks are less damaging? I am aware of the importance of the shard of Zaros but otherwise need advice. Thank you, all help is appreciated.
  2. Hi, I'm looking for help with the best way of improving my combat gear. (More of a skiller so not blessed with knowledge over combat.) I do almost entirely slayer (no bossing), stats are: 87 - HP 86 - Def + Att 85 - Str 84 - Range + Slay 83 - Mage Current equipment: Range - Royal DH w/Crystal Bow (occasionally use dual Rune CBs + broad bolts) Melee - Bandos w/ Vine Whip + EE Mage - Nothing (only use ranged and melee) - Have completed both Desert Treasure and Lunar Diplomacy So, I now have some money to spend (ideally 10mil max, could go over at a push) and DG tokens for a chaotic (250k approx), what is the best way to spend them? I was thinking magic gear for use on tasks which are weak to an element like gargoyles but have no idea what is good/cost effective, also possibly using tokens and some cash to diversify melee weaponary, i.e. one crush, one stab, one slash? What do the experts think? General slayer/combat tips also apprectiated as my tactics generally amount to using best DPS prayer, skipping any tasks that are too hard to kill or too little xp, wearing full slayer helmet and using the closest equipment to the task's weakeness I have. Thank you for all help in advance, it is much appreciated.
  3. Thanks alot for the advice, it is much appreciated. :)
  4. Hi, I have a combat level of 110 (melee stats of 82, 81 and 79, magic 77, range, summoning and prayer 72) and I train my combat using slayer. I don't use a cannon as I like to be vaguely profitable and train in quite a laid back manner so I tend to train melee with a saradomin sword wearing either bandos or black d'hide armour depending on the task. My questions are which slayer master I should use (currently Chaelder)? Whether I am using the correct equipment (cannot afford anything more expensive but could sell current equipment for alternatives)? And what supplies I should take when I slay (currently I just bring monkfish but would potions (prayer pots?) be more useful/ cost effective/ allow for longer stays)? Thank you, all help is appreciated. :)
  5. I hope that works... I tend to read rather than contribute on the forums but I wanted to share this, is the "105 thieving" just a glitch or a hint at a raised level cap to 120?
