RuneScape Information

  1. Haven't had access to the internet for a couple of days, back to 'scaping for a while and corrected a few typos in the blog.
  2. Good Luck! I also recently started a new character, check my post out by searching the forum or follow this link: http://forum.tip.it/topic/325641-dont-you-just-love-starting-again-progress-achievement-diary-of-a-compulsive-re-roller/?p=5510134 ~Asa
  3. Personally I think skill requirements lie at the heart of quest lines. Indeed, some people struggle to get a 99 because there is no real *need* for them too. Perhaps the only reason - at this point in time at least - that I would strive to achieve over level 80 hunter, or herblore, would be if a quest required it of me. Where, however, a low level quest has an important impact on the player's experience be it with regard to the importance of the quest or the significance of its story line, the skill requirements are often relatively low but still challenging - 50 thieving for example. I think it is important to maintain the balance between the relative ease of a quest (if not following a guide for example) and the difficulty of obtaining the levels required for it, whilst also providing an incentive for higher level players to get skills in the region of 90-99.
  4. Thank you very much. I will bear in mind your recommendations for image hosting - I used to use Imageshack but that's not so friendly anymore!
  5. Currently working on Slayer, it seems that the combat level of Kalphite workers has been raised, although Mazchna still gives them as tasks at level 20 cb... I will have to substitute in lesser tasks where these are assigned.
  6. Introduction Hello lovely people of tip.it, it certainly has been a while. Let me start by introducing myself, my alias is Asatorae and I have a little confession to make - I have a problem with starting new accounts on Runescape. I don't know if anyone else has this inexplicable compulsion, but because I am usually forced to return to the game after periods of 6-18 months I find that I have 'lost touch' with the account I was previously playing. Now this may seem strange considering Runescape is perhaps the one game in which you can literally just pick up from where you left off (owing to commonality of skills between characters and the lack of a class system etc.) regardless of what you were doing, but I always feel like I've played the low-level content so long ago - a part of the game which I enjoy based on its replay value and the fact that it hasn't been butchered too much since, say, RS'07 - that I have an overwhelming urge to start again. Such an obscure methodology also allows the tips and tricks learnt at higher levels to be applied, namely faster methods for training skills, earning gold and balancing the 'time is money' argument more effectively. The Plan To that end, I have just created a brand new account (my third in fact, previous characters attaining just 110 and 80 combat with appropriately average total levels) and I have decided to share with you my journey from humble beginnings. Being the financial maverick I am, I'm starting with members off the bat but I won't be taking anything from my other accounts. So, without further ado, join me in this journey that I hope will be something a little unique in a vast sea of 'max this' and 'max that'.
