  1. I completed the second statue too. Confirm: putting the replica twins to your house statue doesn't give a reward. Time info: I completed the first statue on saturday about 19.00 GMT. Completed the second statue on saturday about 01.00 GMT (so 18 hours earlier then the first). Looks like this doesn't work like Tears of Guthix but more like Bork. I tried to build on friday but that didn't work.
  2. Quick find code: 15-16-567-60397917 There is no need to wear weight reducing items.
  3. Quick find code: 15-16-981-60398184 Player asks: Does the triple charm drop rate apply to 1)Abyssal 2)Talon Beasts 3)Tzhaar
  4. I have several points in the guide for Nomad's Requim which could use some extra information. Nr. 6 and 8: some help how to use the levers: Pull the north lever once, then keep pulling the south lever until the water goes where you want. If it doesnt reach the destination, pull the north lever again once and after that the south lever several times. Nr. 10: there are more solutions then shown in the picture. Extra explanation: all the pillars in the north need to have a marking pointing north to direct the water north. Water needs to be led to all the pillars in the north. If the pillars on the north have all markings pointing to eachother, only one of them needs to get water from the south. Pillars with crosses on it give the best possibilities. Nr. 14: some extra explanation how to do this: In the middle of the room jump on the slabs in the river. Then leftclick on a stone slab in your inventory to place it in the river. Jump on the new slab and repeat until you reach the other side of the river. Nr. 17: Its very hard to destroy the roots before the avatar can eat them. (I failed every time). If you melee, you will have to pray for a long time. So ranging from the safe spot is a cheap alternative. Fight with Nomad: You should mention rocktails, cause those can heal above max. hp too (saw this in other posts, but it's not mentioned in the guide yet). Nomad gives two messages for what you call the first special attack. "Let's make things interesting.": the bombs will follow. "You cannot hide from my wrath!": the 75 hit will follow. Rangers can use those messages to try to evade the 75 hit: after the bombs have dropped, carefully walk outside the ring of bombs and place yourself in front of one of the pillars. Keep attacking Nomad until he gives the second message, then hide behind the pillar. When Nomad has used his 75-attack, immediately go back to Nomad. If you hide too long behind the pillar, Nomad will fully heal. (I didnt try this myself.) IN THE GUIDE THE SECOND AND THIRD SPECIAL ATTACK ARE IN THE WRONG ORDER. The second special attack is the one with the clones. Nomad announces that one with: Let's see how well your senses serve you." The third special attack (freezing and max hit -1) is announced with "Let's see how much punishment you can take." Message "You are tougher then I thought, time to even things up." announces the heal to half health. Message "Enough! This. Ends. Now." announces the berserker mode. After this Pray melee / Deflect melee helps a lot. Message "Youyou have doomed this world." announces the end of the fight. Number 20: when you leave Nomads throne room with Zimberfizz, you can see Nomad stand up and tele away. Might be worth mentioning that in the guide cause it points to a followup quest. I wrote down the exact messages from You Tube vids. I took pictures of most messages during my own quest, but I missed the message for the max-1 hit. Don't have the time right now to post them anyway. I also have pictures of Nomad standing up and teleing away at the end of the quest. Let me now if you want (what) pictures. I could also give several tips for the fight with Nomad, but I assume you are watching the thread with the discussion about that.
  5. I got 10 rings so far: - 4 rings from abyssal demons - 3 rings from gargoyles - 1 ring from greater demons - 1 ring from blue drags - 1 ring from gargoyles. So right now my average is 2 rings from 1 task, but that might be just luck. An average of 1 seems sure.
  6. Tip.it has the solution for the discussion about the number of herbs you get. Choose Minigames - Kingdom management - Costs of materials for a graph with percentages. Using those percentages I got this: Number herbs for 50k each day 60.50 Herb Percentage* Number GE Price Total gp Tarromin 22% 13.31 698 9,291 Harralander 19.8% 11.98 1,448 17,347 Ranarr 5.6% 3.39 10.8k 36,592 Irit 12.4% 7.50 3,299 24,750 Avantoe 13.5% 8.17 1,706 13,935 Kwuarm 7.5% 4.54 6,246 28,343 Cadantine 6.4% 3.87 2,380 9,216 Lantadyme 6.7% 4.05 2,916 11,821 Dwarf weed 6.2% 3.75 4,346 16,303 Total 1 day 167,597 Profit 117,497
  7. Here's a new baby monkey: And because I traveled all over Karamja to find out which monkey I liked best, I also made a map where you can find which monkey. It's crude cause I don't know much about Paint, but it might help. The pictures are made from the babies as they walk around on Karamja. As soon as my monkey grows up, I will add a picture of it here. It's number 6 on my map btw.
  8. I restored this guide on several requests. But beware that it's outdated. Maybe in the future I will update the content.
  9. . 613XP a pouch Already nerfed? When I made my first 5 pouches, I got 301,8 xp each, using 165 shards (4125 gp). Checked with second 5 pouches, making 1 pouch at a time: 302 xp. That means the costs per xp are a bit higher then the costs of the lvl 74 granite lobsters. Right now you can make a profit by selling the phoenix pouch in ge (sold mine for max 5235), but how long will that last? If the price drops to swapping price (2900) the net costs are about the same as the net costs of granite lobsters.
  10. I think you can do the circus again as soon as it moves to a new town (I did it on friday in Edgeville and on wednesday in Falador). I have had mixed results with this method. After reading this thread, I tried it in the circus in Edgeville. My results there: - agility (lvl 86): 1460 (ringmaster hat) - range (lvl 96): 1098 (clown) - magic (lvl 98): 1072 (clown) Tried the method again this week in Falador This time (same levels): - agility: 899 (acrobat; failed half of the time!) - range: 1395 (ringmaster) - mage: 1425 (ringmaster) At first I thought there must have been an update that nerfed the method, but the thread showed other players still could do it. So I looked at the things I did different. For range and mage the second time I wore range/mage outfits and took a sip from a range/mage pot. I'm pretty sure that gives u a few hundred points extra. The results for agility surprised me. The first time I wore spottier cape and boots of lightness and had full energy. The second time I didn't wear those and my energy was almost gone. Not sure if that caused my bad results. Next week I'll try and go "light" again. There is also a small difference between range and mage: first time range was 26 points better, second time mage was 30 points better. I think that difference was caused by the way I did the 99 moves. It's best not to repeat the same 99 move (even with an emote in between), but to vary between the two 99 moves. For instance do mage with: emote 1 - alch anvil - emote 2 - tele anvil - emote 3 - alch anvil - emote 4 - tele anvil etc.. This will give you about 20 to 30 points more then when you repeat a 99 move. Not a lot, but for some it might mean the difference between clown and ringmaster.
  11. I was shocked too when I realized how expensive this skill is. I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t really mind that charms are hard to get. That puts summoning in the category of skills like slayer, that canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be bought but take a lot of effort. Right now, just 1 day after, number 1 in the highscores already has level 54, so it canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be that hard to get enough charms for training. But I hate the costs of shards. So far with all expensive skills like prayer and construction, you had a choice. You could start with training the skill totally free but very slow, and work your way up by choosing the next method thatÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a bit more expensive but faster, ending with the most expensive method to race you to lvl 99. With those skills, for every player there is a method that fits their wealth and the way they want to play this game. But with summoning there is hardly a choice, because from the start you have to pay a lot of money to get only a few levels. Not fair to low level players who still think you are rich when you have 100k gp in your bank! So after reaching level 18 with the gold charms I got from the quest, I decided to stop training the skill and just wait and see what happens (for all those players that posted ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅdonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t train if you donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t likeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  12. In the entrance of the Sewer Slayer dungeon, if you go up the ladder, there are now 2 Warped Tortoises. Used to be only 1. Good for slayer assignments.
  13. I investigated all the pictures posted about summoning and I am now pretty sure the last egg is a penguin egg, probably a macaroni penguin egg. My reasons to think that (some already posted by others): - The black and white monster on the summoning wallpaper 2 looks a lot like a penguin. - Along the pictures of bags and scrolls there are several pictures of body parts of animals, like paws and wings; one looks alot like a penguin wing (I only recognized that after seeing the pictures of the black wing). - One of the summoning pictures looks a lot like the head of a crested penguin (a penguin with feathers on it's head). - There is a macaroni penguin (a crested penguin) on an island in rs (see map; you can only see it if you stand where the cursor is). - You can't attack the macaroni penguin (only examine), but the text on the map "Here be penguins" promises a new island were we probably can find the last missing egg.
  14. I've made a very crude map, that also shows the location of the 2 chest with notes in it. It's easiest just to put run on (pray and eat along the way), go to both chests first and then go to the high priest. There you can drink all pots needed and eat before talking. For the other notes you only need to kill the scarab rangers and lancers (no need to kill the mages). It took me hours to get the last notes. The reward of 10k gp isn't worth that trouble, but I have a feeling the collection of notes might be important for a followup quest (that uses the strange doors upstairs). Some other tips: - There is a spring next to the archeologists. You can fill your waterskins there. - Nathila's Bake stall (east part of town) sells filled waterskins. - The embalmer (soutwest corner of town) sells antipoison. - Next to the embalmer is a camel, who you can ask for camel dung (talk to her from south side of fence). I couldn't reach the dung inside the fence, but maybe you can get it with telegrab (I didn't try that, cause I found this camel after quest). - The fastest way to Simon and the rope shortcut: climb through the hole east of the bank building. That takes you to a rock northwest of Simon. You can use the rock to get back too (and also save yourself the irritating talk to the guard at the gate).
