    Quest list

I hate to necro a thread but this is the only one I found that has this problem. The quest lookup is not working again. I have tried three different IPs, three different OS, and three different browsers in various combinations and none of them are working for me. And yes I do have the log set to public.
  2. I would love to be there unforunately at that time I will be getting ready for a wedding @ 1600. (I am providing techincal support. I am in no way related or involved in {other than techincal support} the wedding but hey I am getting paid to sit on my rear and read when I am not doing something else.)
  3. true but I was illustrating a point of there are studies out there that determine that kind of stuff. While it may be more rs specific it would not suprise me that a large percentage of the words are not rs specific.
  4. No it is just like the 5 most common constants are R, S, T, L, and N and the most common vowel is E in English. You can get lists of the most common words (a, an, and, the, etc.) This is just one more list type thing that people have done studies on.
  5. Jeez I can't believe anyone didn't post something like this already A couple of points when deciding on a password. 1. Don't use a password that you use ingame or on a different forum(especially any abandoned forums) 2. Use a different email than you use ingame if possible. 3. Avoid using your ingame name or msn or any username from any program in your password. (ie. ocanderson452693 wouldn't be a good choice for me) 4. Try to include at least 2 numbers in your password, if they are non-sequential then even better. 5. If you use a shared network (school or work) then make sure to log off when done and don't use the "remember password" function. 6. I personally would only reccomemend a 10 alphanumeric character password or better if allowed. Though some sites will only allow an eight character password. (One site I found only allows a 3 character password.) 7. The alphanumeric characters are Captiol Letters (A,B,C,etc), lower case letters (a,b,c,etc), numbers (0123456789), and special characters (like !@#$%^&*()_+{}[];':",./<>?`~-= and of course the space bar space) 8. If you have to write it down then it is not repeat not a secure password. Though I do admit mine is written down but is is written down in an encrpyted file which even decrpyted is in a shorthand form that only my family knows how to translate, in a safe deposit box und a name different than what people know me as but still a legal name for me to use, and in a town that very few people know where is (it is too small to be well known).
  6. for me it is solely dependent on what I am doing. If for instance i am mining in say like the wildy I would wear armor. As opposed to when I am mining in say the dwarf mines in which case I wear what weight reducing items I have. If I am doing treasure trails I try to wear what would be appopraite for the area I am in/going to (desert clothes, armor for lvl 3 clue scroll, etc.)
  7. both are good articles. My only problem is witht he Did you Know? There should be a bigger space between characters. The N was kinda run it to the U. Only through fully knowing morse code was I able to figure that out. I had to look real close to see the seperation. Though I will admit I wasn't as fast as I should be I only took the test a month ago!!!!!!
  8. very good article. unforunately I am not high enough in my skills to really be able to take advantage of most of the updates.
  9. would crumble undead work? and if so how close do you have to be?
  10. I must admit, that was a very deep and enlightening post, which was, as far as I can tell, more or less completely correct. There is a problem I found in it though, a problem of gaps; although you addressed the issue of the meaning of life in regards to oneself, you neglected the fact that our meanings and actions effect others. That is, yes, your meaning for yourself, if one has been found, can not be measured to be greater or lesser than anyone elses, but the social effect it has can. [...] I was about to write a gigantic response to continue my point, in which I would reference a certain thread, but now I realize that the thread itself completely expounds on the point I was going to make. Thus, if you wish to know what I was going to say, or just want to read one of the greatest threads this forum has to offer, read a better version of what I was thinking right here. Parts of the Thread I'm Alluding to: [hide]I live on the lake and it was a beautiful day outside with temps in the 80s. It was the 2nd day of summer vacation and as I sat on my patio in the early afternoon, I was studying for the MCAT in August. I finished a tough chapter and I looked around me. Flying across the water in a nice boat was a guy I knew from high school. He wasnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t a very smart guy, all though high school he skipped classes to smoke pot, and he dated a different girl each week. He ended up graduating a pathetic 130th out of 150, but he got into a college (the worst university in the state). He was a communications major at college and from what I gather wants to be a salesman for Nabisco like his dad is. His dad earns a respectable $55,000 a year and his wifeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s job brings the net total to over $100,000. Now I watch him fly past me, one arm holds a beer, the other is wrapped around the waist of a perky blonde in a bikini. For a moment I grew jealous, than I felt anger. Everyone has always told me ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åwork hard and in the end you will get your rewardÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  11. I am an Eagle Scout with 5 palms. A lot of my highlights in my life came from my Scouting carreer. Like talking to the ISS durning the 2001 National Jamboree. Or doing a modidifed Black Death at Philmont Scout Ranch (we did the first 5 of the Super Black Death and would have done the other two to complete it except for it would put us another 8 hours from where we were supposed to camp that night. For some reason we didn't want to hike an extra 8 hours.) Or watching newbie scouts make the same mistakes that I made so many campouts ago, laughing with them about it and then showing them how to say build a 1 match all natural fire or lash a flag pole or......
  12. I have noticed that people do tend to not savor time. I can remember when I was little we had Sega Gamegears. My brother and I could only play with them when we were going on long trips (mim is 1.55 hours and up). That is one reason why I like to read. I can do that anytime so I don't have to worry about where was I and what was going on in the story. I agree this article didn't seem as polished as the others have been. Though I don't write well so I can't say too much.
  13. darn you took the words right out of my fingers (since I am typing :D )
  14. personally I would say something to the effect of don't jump around so much on your skills. Focus in on one or two at a time get them to the desired level (usually like 2 above where at currently) and then go on to the next one.
  15. whoopppssss sorry I thought I did. I did it right before I went to bed
