1. What is a hybrid, range/2h?

A hybrid is a pker with 2 mixed combat skills used to pk. There are range/melee, range/mage, melee/mage or vise versa.

I chose range/2h because I really enjoy pking with range/2h and it's a very fast way to get a kill,but very boring #-o or fun :D to train both skills.

Note: p2p have a faster way to train this.

2. Where to train a hybrid.

You can train a hybrid almost anywhere but I have a small list of training areas for both f2p and p2p:

1-15 range f2p and p2p - chickens/giant rats

1-15 str f2p and p2p - chickens/giant rats

16-30 range f2p and p2p - dark wizards/scorpians/minotaurs/wolfs

16-30 str f2p and p2p - dark wizards/scorpians/minotaurs/wolfs

31-50 range f2p - skeletons/hill giants/moss giants

31-50 range p2p - rock crabs

31-50 str f2p - minotaurs/wolfs/zombies/scorpians

31-50 str p2p - rock crabs ( at about this time go get 30-40 att )

51-70 range f2p - lessers/moss giants

51-70 range p2p - rock crabs/dueling/elementals

51-70 str f2p - moss giants/hill giants

51-70 str p2p - rock crabs/dueling/pk ( at about this time get prayer )

71-99 range f2p - lessers/pk

71-99 range p2p - fire giants/elementals/rock crabs

71-99 str f2p - lessers/moss giants/red spiders ( fish some food or bring)

71-99 str p2p - rock crabs/elementals/druids/anywhere that you like

3.What to wear.

Head gear: Coif/Iron full helm

Amulet: Strengh/Power/Accuracy

Cape: No cape/Any coloured cape

Arrows: 50-120 addie arrows/50-200 mith arrows

body: Soft leather body/Iron chainmail/Monk robe

Weapon: Maple shortbow

Shield: None

Legs: Green d'hide legs/Monk bottom

Gloves: Green d'hide vamps

Boots: Leather boots ( strongly recommended ) / Fancy boots or Fighting

Ring: None

4.Inventory.

1st slot - Rune 2h

2nd slot - *Str pot*

3rd-26th slot - Lobsters/ Swordfish

Last slot - *Str pot*

Your str pot could be anywhere you like :P

5. Skills (These are myne)

You may not want pray but I chose to since I don't like skilling much and pray helps alot.

6. Timing

To get timing right, left click the 2h when you are about 80% sure you will make it. Click the 2h when your bow is in the middle like this

Hint:It will be much simpler if you are fighting a mage.

7. Warnings

WARNING: Use your 2h after you think your opponent dosn't know you have a 2h ( it will be more specific if you wear something that they won't think you are using 2h )

WARNING 2: Do not use your pot until about 30 seconds in the fight or your pray since it will waste ( but it's your choice )

8. Where hybrids should pk

Edgeville is the best place for a hybrid to pk.

Hybrids do not usually pk here since it multi it ain't good with range/2h.

9. Dictionary.

Pk - Player kill(er)

Hybrid - A pker using 2 mixed combat skills to pk

2h - 2-hander

Att - Attack

Str - Strengh

Def - Defence

Pray - Prayer

F2p - Free to play

P2p - Pay to play

10. Words used when pking.

K0 - knockout

Gf - Good fight

Gl - Good luck

Pj - Player jacker

Pott(er) - Drinking your str potion ( someone who uses on dm's )

Pot up - Drink your pot

Peace - Not to fight the person your fighting/talking

Safer - Someone who eats at about 60% higher than the maximum amount of damage taken by the opponent.

11. Q & A

Q. Why do I hit badly with the 2h, I try very hard?

A. Because you need to be patient. If you click your "mouse" softly it will usually hit harder.

Q. Can I use a scim/r2h combo?

A. Yes, you can but it's a bad idea because it takes long and your opponent can eat in that time, it's only good when your opponent is under 10 hp and you hit something like 22.

Q. What happens if I don't run on a non-dm?

A. Well you will get respect by the other player since it was very noble thing to do.

Q. What happens if I keep dying?

A. Well I had one of those problems, so when I die more than 3 times a day I go train a bit and see if I improved when I go pk again. If I do not improve, I go back to training.

Q. If the person I kill says gf and I don't what do I do?

A. Well if you could, you can add the person and tell him/her gf. I got 3 mates by doing that. And they can become really helpful.

Q. If none of the questions answer my question could I pm you?

A. Yes, but sometimes I'm on private chat friends or off. But don't worry you could still post here.

Well you are right, but I found out when you do it through the middle it's faster than just when you raise the bow

It's faster about 0.44 seconds

I'll answer your questions.

On one day, I went to pk :lol: and for some reason I didn't feel angry just depressed. So when I fought a couple of people I clicked my mouse softly and I hit 9+ ( sometimes 0 but I hit nice numbers most of time )

So It might be useful to do that, but sometimes when you click it softly you don't actually click it, so that would be a problem

Safer - Someone who eats 5+ higher than the maximum amount of damage taken by the opponent eg. A mages maximum is 16 and the "Safer" eats at about 20+.

thats not safer... 20 - 16 +12 -16 = KO

safing is eating 50- 100% health

Dude it ain't 100 % health lol which noob would do that, well I sort of agree with you. About 60% is good for safing . Me edit lol :lol:

8/10 i really like it but the sorta range pure thingy of mine already has 20 def =( so i guess i will use mith chain instead of range body and i will have to get 40 atk and 60 str for it :wall: :x

20 def could help but it aint really useful.

I would advise studded body or mith chain. But for str and attack it wont be that bad. You could get 30 att and 60 str or 20 and 60. Dosn't matter, just as long as you are happy with your attack and strength.

Yes, you could ko someone with 40 attack and 50 strength but it depends on your speed. The faster your connections with runescape are the more faster you can do a double hit.

Max with 2h: 40 att and 50 str is 14 with rune 2h 15 with pot and 16 with pot and pray.

Max with scimmy: 13, 14 with str pot, 15 with pot and pray.
