Moderators have the primary responsibility for keeping the boards clean and friendly. Administrators handle the running of the boards and/or website. We often get people asking to join or how they would go about trying to join. This post has been stickied so everyone can see it. You can't apply to join the staff. When we notice an active user on the forums who we think might provide a positive impact on the community, we will invite him/her to join the team if they would like to. Of course this is not a definitive list of criteria and we will often use our discretion and judgement to decide who we invite - but it gives a general idea. In summary, don't apply - we will invite you if you are suitable - just be yourself around the forums. NOTE: We do occasionally hold Staff Recruitment Drives, where you can send in an application to be on staff. But these occasions are very rare and a Global Announcement will be made if/when we decide to hold one. Our last recruitment drive was held in June 2011. Do not send in an application when there is no Recruitment Drive taking place.
