A: You need a pickaxe for sure, take a games necklace/charge glory amulet or a ring of dueling if you want to get out of there fast. You can wear anything you want basically. DeadPolkaDots1
It enlightens the method of mining Sandstone/Granite but it doesn't really go all that in depth. You could reccomend dropping the ore as soon as you extract it or dropping an invent of it. And also, wearing the Ring of Charos (a) reduces the transport fees from 200gp to 100gp, it can be reduced again by completing the Ali Morrisane mini quest. Other than that, it's a good guide, good luck getting into the AOW. :) Quit RS to play real games. :P Bye TIF, miss you.
dude_of_war4
jorgen it wasnt terribly logical to me....and many other bozo's out there dead the ROC(a) doesnt reduce price to 100 its if you do rogues trader price goes down to 100gp from 200gp ROC(a) reduces it to 75gp click my sig for my blog!!!Thanks everyone for the sigs they pwn!No. Why should i give presents for someone in rs?Most selfish thing I've ever heard

chaoticpsycho
for some reason, granite and sandstone mine rather quickly, esp compared to gold, the ore 1 down from granite. it mines somewhere between as fast as iron and coal do at my level (67) plus it respawns as fast as iron does. granite is definitely the best ore to powermine on if you weren't planning on keeping your ores. (for those who do... iron, ardy warp, bank, mine south of legends, repeat.) thanks for writing this guide, if you haden't i'd spend up almost 2x the time trying to powermine iron. tip.it!!! get a life!!! you cant' do anythign with your lame signature size!!! i can't eeven put a quote and a comment! wrawr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Freesia
Even at mining 88 i still find powermining granite rather slow. I don't 1 hit them all the time and is definitely not the best ore to powermine for fastest experience at 35/45 mining Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. Borschwicz
This is very well written, but I dont think we need a guide for powermining. All you do is mine, then drop, no need for a guide. |Barrows Drops-7|Dragon Drops-5|
Jorgen
This is very well written, but I dont think we need a guide for powermining. All you do is mine, then drop, no need for a guide. Somebody even asked what should they do with the granite, so I think a lot of people get answers and a good guide. A lot of people don't even know that spot. Umega
I had a go at granite mining, but dropping all the rocks was incredibly annoying. I can't be bothered to do it again. Nice simple guide though. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
