October 25 2007

Pandaownage and tcmstr134 have been removed from the shop because they have not gotten a single order since joining GoldWorks. And I'm not going to allow anyone else to work in Goldworks anymore, so I'm removing the Work for GoldWorks section and the Artist Roster section. And here's the big one: Orders after October 25th 2007 will be ignored. I need time to catch up on orders. The shop will re-open for new orders very soon. Note to moderators: Please don't close or lock the shop.

I've removed 2 rules from my section. I will now take more than 3 orders per month from the same person. And I will now accept orders from people who have less than 25 posts. A render is an image cut-out from its background, and surrounded by transparency.

Only the png and gif formats can hold transparency, jpg cannot. Png is better than gif, because it is smaller in filesize and produces much better quality.

The best place to have renders made is here.

Many places, but the best is Planet Renders.

[*:2ftwiq7q]Do I need to register to view renders on Planet Renders?

Yes, but most artists in GoldWorks already have registered accounts.

You have to copy and post the link to a render, which can be found under the render preview. Click here for an example.
