[hide=2.INTRODUCTION]2. Introduction

Alright! Where shall we begin? There is so much to cover yet. First, ask yourself a few questions before you spend time reading this guide.

- Are you bored of training.

- Are you irritated of slow experience

- Do you have problems training or finding suitable training spots?

If your answer was YES to 2 out of 3 of these questions, then look no further! You have found the ULTIMATE guide to training. I myself faced ALL 3 of these problems and have found ways to OVERCOME and WORK AROUND them. Now, by following me, you can do that too!

Reason: The Smoke Will Keep ur Hp at 1 indefinetly which is the PERFECT environment for Dharoking. BUT IT WILL NEVER DO THE FINISHING BLOW. So as long as you are free from melee damage via Protect Prayers. You will be at 1hp for as long as you stay there. Beware of Evil Chicken Randoms though.

[hide=4.WEAPON STRATEGIES]4. Weapon Strategies

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâû Dragon Battleaxe

Pro(s): 85 Strength Bonus. Average Slash/Crush Weapon. Accurate. Special Boosts Strength Stat

Con(s): Slow. Requires Heros Quest To be completed. Special Lowers Every other combat stat

Uses: Use the Special before you start training, then drink a restore potion if your attack is low(80-) if you wish.

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâû Dragon Dagger(p++)

Pro(s): Can be poisoned. Managable Stab/Slash Attack. Special Attack is arguable the BEST special in RuneScape. Cheap and easily obtainable.

Con(s): Not terribly accurate. Other Weapons eg; Whip, Sara Sword are Stronger yet Same speed.

Uses: Dd(p++) also known as the Dds is often used in PvP fights/duels as it has a chance of poisoning your opponent thus doing extra damage. Special also hits hard/Fast and effectively as it only takes 25% drain(there is a bug with the special occationally)

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâû Dragon Mace

Pro(s): 5 Prayer Bonus. Good Crush Attack. Special attack increases Damage Considerably. Cheap.

Con(s): Special Attack increases damage but lowers accuracy horribly.

Uses: Not many people use this except for fighting creatures that require prayer. It is good when you like to see High hits and often used to "Max" on others.

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâû Dragon Halberd

Pro(s): Massive Strength Bonus. Can attack someone 2 Squares away. Special attack hits *Twice* on Monsters that take up more than 1square(eg; Giants). Hits Hard and is relatively accurate. Special only drains 30%.

Con(s): Extremely Slow. Not suggested in PvPs as the ability to hit over fences can easily be ignored by walking a step back. This doesn't work on Monsters with a long reach(Elves using Pikes/Bows or Npcs that can mage)

Uses: Useful for many tasks with Safespots. Special is nice and useful.

ÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡ÃâûÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâû Excalibur

Pro(s): Useful Special attack that boosts defence stat by 10%

Cons(s): Weak Weapon. Bad accuracy.

Uses: Boosts Defense stat by 10%. Useful on slayer tasks.

nice, but soem things that are easy to change..

-says bandits at bandit camp twice, i assume u mena ankuos scince it have slave ammy...

-on apes at atoll, god cloak is better than a skill cape because of the rpay bouns

-just my opicnion, but on ape atoll, i think that unholy book>def because you spend less time praying and more time killing

-also for ape atoll, inclued xp with using chivalry and piety...

other than that, great giude! 9.5/10

Oh lol, i meant Skeletons@Damis Lair :P

For Ape atoll, God cloaks are relatively expensive as it is a treasure trail item(also has a low protection value)

Same as with above. Unholy book completed is at least 750k at the VERY least.. which is very expensive for most people. also, that extra ?5? prayer bonus doesn't really help that much, +19 slash is better. But it depends actually.

The Xp included is for piety. I'll include Chivalry and normal prayers. thanks for the comments and suggestions. I'll put them into effect as soon as possible

good guide, buy you should also note in bandits that they can be really good xp when no one else is there, as well as the god cape making them auto aggressive. I know they also are aggresive when you attack one, the others come and attack you, but if you want fast, sort of afk training like many people who go there are going for, the cape will help if you kill the bandits extra fast before any more spawn.

Also for the fire giants I personally like to use alch runes when i go to alch some of the drops, so it keeps your inventory free. It would just be a nice tip to add, but everything else seems very well written, and I know they are good methods since i used most of them (now going full slayer for cb training)

True, but the god cape offers minimal defense. and right now, with the frequency of randoms, i dont suggest afk training much..

even with Full guthans, it has its "unhealing streaks" and that is dangerous. I'd go with 9 defence than auto attack. Also, i use the Pub, but don't recommend it to lower levels

9/10(until you get pics for all the methods, than 10/10)

one thing though, for bandits camp you said for attack and defence use whip and for strength use d scimmy. You didn't have the scimmy in invertory. And you might also be able to use warspear for strength. :-k

Great guide anyway =D>

i dont get it. why should i bring 4 weapons? I'm maxed. I don't expect people to bring BOTH whip AND scimitar. So no reason to have scimitar in inventory.

Guthan warspear can ONLY train defence and controlled.

  • 2 weeks later...

an excellent guide. i would recommend putting the "great brain robbery" book into the gorillas bit, as it saves money and means you don't have to leave to restock. wouldn't normally be a problem, but if you want it to be a comprehensive guide, i'd suggest it anyway.

the only other improvement i can think of is the huge list of different places to train being broken up a bit. it's slightly daunting when first opened and isn't ideal for quick referencing.

1. How many prayer points does the GBR book take, and

2. Does it provide immunity or just temporary relief.

i'm not entirely too sure about how many points it uses, however you HAVE to be wearing a saradomin symbol at the time of usage.

also it only provides temporary relief.
