So I've had a chance to toy around on the Beta Servers. Overall, I must say that I like about 90% of the combat changes. The combat abilities, the new looks/stats for the armors, the new action bar (which makes drinking pots and eating food and tele'ing soooo much easier, even the new levels for the monsters are good ( at least most of them). So I was forced to finally get a Fire cape by my girlfriend, and so I got it. That allowed me to finish off the last two task sets and get a pretty cool new emote. Last post I was one or two levels away from level 70 dungeoneering, and the 70-milestone-cape. I channelled all my free xp into dungeoneering and then last Saturday evening I got to the point that I needed only 8k-ish xp. I could wait for a couple of joats of course, but I decided to pull myself together and do some floors to gain the remaining xp. With the plans to rework combat levels so that the new high is 200 (I hope they plan on changing how this is calculated) my previous min-quest is now nerfed! I am changing my goals to be achieving Max in all skills and obtaining the Quest Cape My march towards this is going well....I have one 99 already, many skills above 70, several above 80 and 3 others above 90 and only 5 skills below 70 but above 60! My quest points sit at 260 with only 40 out of 182 quests left to do and 8 in progress

It is really hot in Chicago. Complaining about the weather doesn't really solve the problem, but how many summer must I go in this heat? 90 degrees outside feels like 95 in my apartment, and the lack of a air conditioner that can run with the TV on is bothersome. The following is a small idea I had for Runescape that was posted on the RSOF many months ago. It had a number of supporters, but I eventually got busy and lost sight of the thread. Just re-posting it here for anyone who may be interested in reading it. A couple of weeks ago I had one skill left to go to reach my all-skills-70-plus goal. Well, I have been making progress at that using pengy points, tears of guthix xp and troll invasion points. They got me 69 dungeoneering so far. I didn't do any actual dungeoneering; so I am still stuck with an insanely low amount of tokens. Every now and then it bugs me that I am nowhere near an arcane necklace or some cool chaotic weapons. But oh well. I just don't have the patience for dg, I'm just gonna hav
My mini-quest to achieve 2000 total level before reaching 105 combat continues...I (for the most part) have avoided leveling combat skills....I level Summoning and Magic recently but neither pushed me to 104 combat let alone 105 cmb. My currrent total level is 1935, so 65 levels remain for me to attain my goals. I raised my cooking recently to 93.. I can cook those pesky rocktails but not fish them yet, fishing remains below 90 atm...it is struggling to reach 83 (lol). Alas I am getting bo

I just first wanna say that nothing feels better than busting out in Queens "We are the Champions" after final. I admit, I didn't do too well on my Money and Banking final (most of time was spend on Macroeconomics), but I passed all my classes and my GPA went up a tiny bit. This fall, I'll hit the ground running... With school out the way and only biology to student before the fall, I'll have a lot more RS time. so when I'm not chillin' with friends, studying, or exercising, I'll be scapin'. a
First up, I got a Runecrafting level. Then, with the necklace bonus from May (Which I used in about 30 minutes), continued on and had around 120k exp to the level. Luckily, I hadn't cashed in my Penguin points for the week, nor Troll Invasion for the month. So I got them done and was within 8k. Ah-ha!
