  1. I agree

I still remember the first day I signed up. I was in middle school, seems like a life time ago but was only about 4 or 5 years ago (I dont remember exactly when it was). RS has been a good influence in my life ever since.

  2. pet noobs. You can keep them in your inventory and then drop them and they follow you like a familiar and yell random catch phrases such as:

    "Z0mg you so hi lvl!"

    "mony plz?"

    "lol"

They can also help you gather supplies and act as a beast of burden. Another perk is that they stay for an unlimited amount of time, the only downside is you have to put up with their annoying catch phrases being called out every 5 seconds. If you get fed up with it you can kill it.

the familiar can be picked up in lumbridge.

I think this would be a nice addition for 2009

    Don't these things allready exist?

yes but you cant deploy them at will and have the hold items for you without running off, these are loyal followers

  4. I use the tip.it forums because it has the best people of any runescape forum out there. Alot of the other forums I've visited tend to have lots of snobs.

I use alot of tip.it's utilities as well but I also use them from other sites as well, sometimes zybez has a guide that is more clear that tip.it and vise versa. Normally I stick with tip.it, zybez, and recently runescape wikia

  5. I tried dropping a few buckets, but I can't seem to get the settings down. First time I press 2 it goes down to the drop button, I press 5 twice to select the next bucket, but when I press 2 again it goes down twice as far as it did last time. Any idea on how to fix this?

Edit - I now made it so that it doesn't speed up anymore, I have to click 2 twice though :?

you shouldnt have to click the 5 twice, you still have to use your mouse but only for right clicking, the 5 is only for the left click, so it goes:

    right click

    ctrl

    2

    5

    right click

    ctrl

    2

    5

    etc...

changing your speed slider changes how far the jump from the 2 is.

EDIT: you changed your settings to "1 click" rather than 2 click, you still HAVE to right click with your mouse or it wont function properly

  6. Congrats on 99 Construction =D> Welcome to the Club ::' Good luck on 99 Woodcut & I didn't know those mouse keys for dropping was so fast -.- but I don't power train on any account.
it works for construction too, could click on the option to build a door really quickly, allowing me to make 2 oak doors everytime before the butler arrived without fail. It works for herblore in the ability to click the "withdraw 14" as well as "make all". It just saves the hassle of misclicking and messing up your rythme. it will work for any skill that involves right clicking and hitting another option. it can also make runecrafting banking faster in that you don't accidentally click the "withdraw x" and you always hit the customizable option which shouldbe set to withdraw more than you can hold, speeds up banking for a couple of seconds.
  7. Wow intense  any way to do that without those keys, because my laptop doesn't have them.
all I did was change the location of the "ctrl" "2" and"5" buttons on the number pad to an easier location to access. Every computer has mousekeys, just turn them on and put something on your ctrl key to hold it down (you won't be able to talk when its down) and just use the "2" and "5" on the number pad on your keyboard. Every computer has mousekeys.
  8. how much xp per hour is teaks...i might have to switch to them instead of my catherby willows
They are definitly the fastest. I'm going to guess about 50k an hour at level 90 but that will steadily increase to about 70-80k up around 99 from what I've been told. I don't usually count unless I'm debating speeds between two methods and teaks just seem to blow everything else out of the water.

You still play your xbox online much Wakka?...

What games did you used to play?...

The problem with xbox is that you would never know if its me or my brother since we use the same Live account. I'm not on often, usually just to play gears of war 2 with a friend for a couple of hours then I'm off.

What exactly are the keys you use and the speed setting for mouse keys? I'd like to get 80 wc but I don't think my wrist could stand dropping those teaks

The keys are holding ctrl, 2, and 5. However, I have a G11 keyboard:

    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keybo ... 5&cl=US,EN

This keyboard has programmable keys along the left side. I program the bottom 3 keys to function as the ctrl, 2, and 5 and roll my fingers across that combination along with synchronizing it with the right clicking of my mouse. It allows me to drop items in a row extremely fast, just a couple of seconds per row if done correctly. It takes some practice, but with a day of doing it I can get it about 50% of the time as long as I keep a rhythm to it and not get carried away (try to drop too quick). I'll use my video camera and film a demo to demonstrate what I do. It's perfectly legal since Its not a macro, its still 1 key per keystroke, I'm simply changing the location of keys to make them more accessible. The speed you just have to play around with to get it right.

Grats Wakka, if that's the case I might try them out. Would make dropping loads of Iron ore, trout/salmon alot faster.

Looking forward to seeing that vid.

The best way to do it would be to rearrange some of the keys on your keyboard that are easily accessible and that you do not use often. however its perfectly possible to do this quickly normally but it might be kind of an awkward positioning of your hands.

mousekeys are my best friend with this skill. I've gotten REALLY good with them over today. I can drop a full load of logs in less than 10 seconds on a typical run, unless I miss a few logs which can happen often. About 13 seconds tops. I might upload a video just to show everybody the potential that mousekeys have in RS, and they are perfectly safe to use, they come standard on all PC's and I believe Macs have the same thing.
