  1. Hah, the last time I actively used these forums was maybe 2012-ish. I quit Runescape the day EOC released and stayed away for a long long while, but found my way back in ~2018 with OSRS. Have since made an Ironman on OSRS and play pretty actively. Mostly at work during downtime.

When I stopped in 2012, I was in my senior year of highschool working a job in fast food with no direction. Since then I've gotten married, pursued a career in Law Enforcement where I'm a thermal camera operator on a helicopter, bought a house and had my first kid a year ago that just turned 1 🙂 Funny to hop on this forum for some nostalgia and see what young me was like, and funny to see how RuneScape has been a part of my life since I was 7/8 years old and how its transformed, along with the internet as a whole. Really miss hopping on here for hours and looking at peoples blogs, cool drops, the pixel art (that I'm still obsessed with) and all these other things. Wish forums were still as active and friendly as they used to be.

Hope you all are well! HYT 🙂

Update photo of me and my GF at the beach

if that's your e46 in your siggy, looks clean

rip track days with that slam though

Yes it is :D thank you!

And it's on AirLift performance suspension. You'd be surprised how well it handles at a moderate ride height. Nothing good enough for a track, however its a station wagon and I like looks better especially for a daily driver. But it shreds up the roads when I want it to.

  3. Well I'm back as promised with photos of my car after bodywork and parts installment. Here's some photo's someone took of my car at the Annual SoWo show in Helen, GA the weekend of May 17th. The show is supposed to mock the actual Worthersee Tour in Austria every year. It is held in the Bavarian themed town (Helen) of the mountains of Georgia. Beautiful place, tons and tons of fun.

    Sounds Awesome Hugger.

Wow seeing this thread again made me think about what happened to my car last month. Someone backed into my car, although they were honest enough to not run away. Still, it pissed me off. Pictures follow. Still cost $1550 CAD, covered by insurance.

    When it happened:

After having it fixed. Just like new.

Luckily it was covered with insurance!! Had a friend get backed into today in the bank parking lot... 1993 Mazda RX7 with 65k original miles. Ruined the door and half the rear quarter.

Here's some photos of my new 330i

    330i_zps49ac9ed8.jpg

And yes, that is an E30 behind the E46 (older 3 series, 1986) selling it today lol

    10405296_10203054062141191_5218451666304

Guy who bought my miata ruined it (blew up clutch master cylinder, pilot bearing seperated (brand new clutch), then spun a rod bearing in the motor..)

I never really liked the look of the "older" 3's much for some reason. But i'm starting to like them more and more. They just seem... idk a bit more rugged or something. Some of the newer 6 and 7's just seem too delicate. Like they're meant for a diplomat and not for the average Joe.

    My dream car:

    GmAy3Do.jpg

I'm currently "stuck" with this. Bought it in the US. I used to have a 2006 Explorer (which i fricken loved) and i wanted to import it, but you can't import cars older than 5 years iirc (unless they're like 40 years old and meant to be "show cars" or something like that). So i had to sell it. Couldn't get the price i was looking for. I think the book value was something like $6k at the time but it was in mint condition. I originally bought it from a lady that pretty much just used it for carpooling. Had low mileage for the year too. So i didn't really want to drop too much below $6k. Best offer i got was around $4k iirc. Took it to the ford dealer and they told me if i traded it in, i can pick up the Mustang for an $25k. Was a 2012 with relatively low mileage too. So i figured it was a pretty solid deal. Not fond of the colour of the roof, but that's a minor detail i suppose.

    uQjfzPy.jpg

I'm currently saving up for that M3.

That is such a beautiful M3.... And where did you have the mustang imported to? I know overseas mustangs are VERY hard to come by. I had a military friend take his 2008 automatic GT mustang with him to japan and sold it for the equivalent of $55,000 USD. Might be able to trade that mustang for your dream car ;)

  6. So I made a HUGE purchase today guys......

Not to brag, just trying to liven up the thread: Receipt was $2,390.21

Whoever can guess my purchase wins :) Btw its for the E46

  7. Re-up of some of the old miata pics. This was my previous car :D

  8. What a nice car!

And that guy who bought the miata, are you sure he knew how to drive? LOL he ruined it pretty fast and was probably driving like a maniac doing so.

To make this even funnier... He asked if I could teach him how to drive stick when he showed up at my house. I literally looked at him like -____-

  10. Demby that makes me happy. I recently sold my beloved miata and bought a 2001 BMW 330i. Plans are set, and things will be in motion when I sell another car I have!

  11. Seems to me like a beard-fetish is happening.

I happen to have about inch-long one myself aswell :D

I'm trying my damnest to get a decent beard going... I have MASSIVE wolverine chops, then it splits, then I have the chin beard. It's pissing me off lol

  12. Hello Art Bazaar! I've been inactive for a while now but if I can make a request I'd like a pixel sig made. I'd like it modeled after this car on a different background (maybe the beach? a garage with toolbox's and tools in the background?

    Size: 450x150

    Name: Hugger

Notes: I would LOVE to have this sig made in a pixel version if anyone is up for the challenge. I wouldn't mind a really good abstract sig also, if anyone wants to give it a shot :)

    Thank you!!

  13. Picked up this super clean '93 miata

OP, is that SC in your signature yours? If so, very clean. Always had a soft spot for them.

I do believe that there are owners that take this whole fad a little too far, either having just way too much camber, or being so low that it's damn near impossible to drive.

But there are also the owners that know what they're doing, and have done modifications that are very tasteful and are executed very well.

Also consider that a good portion of these cars have air ride suspension, so they are not ALWAYS that low.

Not meaning to bump an old thread, but I kinda fell off tif for a few months and just came back.

I REALLY hope you see this Nazlew, because you might have just became my best friend.

Those photos are GREAT. You need to see V2Lab on facebook, they would crap bricks over those photos. It's a page with over 120k likes and is all about the lowered car lifestyle. And no, that SC is not mine. I was in the process of buying it when the guy backed out and traded for a 350z or something ( ) and I've been saving since.

Also guys, I do agree some look ridiculous, but all that aside, it's just like any other car. People make cars powerful to go fast, people lift trucks to go offroading. People lower their cars to show them off. I highly doubt alot of these are daily drivers. The camber is just a way to let the car go lower.

Drifters in particular camber wheels in the rear to break traction easier, and camber in the front for full tire contact at full steering lock. It's all just opinion.

  16. *NOTE: I do realise there is a car thread, but it has been dead and is totally different than this style of vehicles.*

For all of you who know what a 'stanced' or 'slammed' car is, what are your views on them? What do you like/dislike about them? Discuss it a little, post pics of your favorite cars!!
