    Skill Goals

    Last time I did this, I had a lot more levels I needed. The Desert tasks being added is what prompted this entry. Luckily, they haven't added any needed skill levels, although there's two tasks I can't complete yet due to the Dominion Tower.
     
    Anyway, the skill levels I'm down to needing are:
    88 Smithing
    90 Smithing
    91 Smithing
    93 Slayer
     
    Penguin points, JoT aura, and other xp sources are currently being poured into Slayer. After that's at 93, that stuff will start going into Smithing. When they finish nerfing things that need it (like my current Slayer assignment), I'll go back to training it normally as well.

    Levels Gained

    The amount of levels I got last weekend are:
     
    7 Summoning
    2 Runecrafting
    1 Mining
    1 Fletching
    1 Herblore
    1 Crafting
    1 Construction
     
    Turns out I didn't quite have enough supplies for eight Summoning levels, but I'm happy with what I got. I got all the levels I really wanted, which are enough for all the Elite tasks that require them. The two RC levels I acquired also let me complete an Elite task.
     
    The Herblore level means I can now make overloads. (Well, I could if I had and Torstol.)

    Mobilising Armies

    I've checked it out for the first time tonight. (On previous times, I just banked there during warped tort tasks.) I believe I know where seeds I loot from master farmers is going to go now. I may even actually start growing hops now.
     
    I don't have any plans to play it anytime soon, but I may as well invest for in case I ever decide to for whatever reward I want/need.

    Skill Goals.

    I have various goals that are mostly according to the levels I need for different tasks in the Task System.
     
    The levels and skills I need are:
    88 Smithing
    90 Agility
    90 Smithing
    90 Summoning
    91 Runecrafting
    91 Smithing
    92 Prayer
    93 Slayer
    93 Summoning
    95 Prayer
    95 Summoning
     
    Penguin, Troll Invasion, and regular xp lamps are currently all going into Runecrafting. I feel no desire to craft over 300k runes for 91. Once I've finally gotten it, they'll go towards Prayer. Which won't be happening any time soon, since when I do RC, I only do so long enough to get the amount of whatever runes I need that week. Which are usually Natures, but I often make Astrals instead. And sometimes, Cosmics.
     
    I have enough supplies to get 91 Smithing through regular training if I use SC hammers, so I'm not going to waste points on that. I'm also not going to waste them on Agility. I'm only two levels away from what I want, anyway. Training Slayer and Summoning goes hand in hand, since I get the charms from Slayer. I need to hold off on Slayer for awhile though. My bank is too full for me to have much of anywhere to put drops until I'm ready to sell or use them. So right now, the only Slayer I do is Bork. Once we get more bank space this fall, I'll go back to Slayer. Along with more Dungeoneering. I'm one space short of being able to do it without putting an outfit I use fairly often back in my PoH.
     
    My other skill goals are according to either effigies or what I need to be able to do things in Dungeoneering. Like ranging needing to be increased to 90 so I can use gravecreeper bows and wear tyrannoleather armor. 96 Fletching to make said bows. 95 Farming to be able to pick buckthorn instead of hoping I find some as a drop during the times I need to pot up for a door or whatever.

    It's been an age since I last posted anything here, so let's do a list of the updates that most interest me.

    Ranged Slayer Dungeon: I have 91 Ranged and 93 Slayer. This is a good way to level up both and gives me some content to work towards.
    Divination Skill: Been looking forwards to this ever since the new skills were announced.
    Dwarf Finale Quest: I voted for this and would like to see the end of the storyline. I'm disappointed there's no graphical reworks coming with it though.
    Barrows Brothers Deluxe: I like Barrows although I don't do them often, so this should be interesting.
    Player-Owned Ports Expansion: Awesome. I'm done with the storylines and could use more. I still have plenty of scrolls to get though, so hopefully it'll hold off until I've gotten more, since I'm sure more scrolls are coming with it.
    Quest: Bringing Home the Bacon: It's about time for a new quest.
    Upgraded Tool Belt with New Tools: Yesplz. Only thing I can really think of that I want shoved on is the teasing stick, but I'm sure there's plenty more that can go on.
    6th Age Quests 1, 2, 3 and 4: More quests are definitely needed after the first half of this year.
    Grouping System: Depending on how this works, I may do various minigames more often (or at all).
    Construction Rework: Long overdue. And as I have 94 Construction, it'll actually do me some good.
    New bank interface: Sounds good. Maybe there'll be some more tabs to help me better organize things.

    I'm planning on getting levels in several different skills. They are, as follows:
     
    8 Summoning
    2 Runecrafting
    1 Mining
    1 Fletching
     
    Skills I would like to get a level in but doubt I will due to things like not enough time and/or supplies are, as follows:
     
    1 Herblore
    1 Crafting
    1 Slayer
    1 Construction
    1 Dungeoneering
     
    This post is primarily to help myself keep track of what I want to go for and look back and see how much I managed to accomplish.

    I gained over 400k xp and two levels during the weekend. While a lot of floors were soloed, several were done with clanmates. The ones done on my own were ones that either they couldn't do yet, or were done to fill up the floor 1-17 gap left after resetting to dung with them at the point they were last at when I wrapped up my occult floors.
     
    One of them made prom spear and plate for me, which have replaced the gorgonite versions I previously had. I also poisoned the spear, as being able to do so is my major motivation behind using spear. Having all three attack styles is my other motivation. My third bind is 225 poisoned gorgonite arrows.
     
    I'm not sure what I'll bind when I reach level 100. I'm tempted to go with runic or spiritbloom robe bottom. If I get something better after like a blood necklace or SSH, the robe bottom can be destroyed.
     
    I'm a long way away though, as I'm level 83 DG.
     
    Two more levels to go until I can access Frosts. I probably won't actually use them much though. I'm mostly just interested in grabbing the one off free xp.

    Oh lord. I've already been thinking about what I want to do in March, so I may as well put it down somewhere.
     
    Construction - Handing over long and curved bones to the cave goblin NPC
    Runecrafting - ZMI
    Crafting - black d'hide bodies; air battlestaves; uncut gems
    Herblore - whatever potions I have the supplies for
    Summoning - whatever pouches I have the supplies for
     
    It's far too early to even start to guess how many levels I'll get per skill.

    I started this up so I'm have a place to ramble about RuneScape that isn't my Livejournal, since a grand total of two people over there will care about the game. I don't know how often I'll remember to post.
     
    I fought the Tormented Wraith for the first time last night. It was pretty easy. Decent source of oak planks, which I like. I need about 20k oak planks to get level 91 in Construction. I get my planks through drops and plank make because I don't like spending money I don't have to. I'm not really in a hurry anyway, since I only do Construction each week for as long as it takes to get both skill rocks. So no need to get all of them at once.
