Probably because of the disdain so many people have for books, or reading in general. Tsk tsk tsk :shame: Something I never understood, either.
The only thing 'special' about a book is how it can double up as a lethal weapon to attack the person who gave it to you.

As for Eastern Europeans, give me one source which suggests all they do is come over here and scrounge off our benefits. I'll confess, a few do, but the vast majority of them are hard working, contributing members of our economy, who also so happen to back taxes which then get repumped into those public services. In reality, they're actually paying for their own welfare.
Agreeing with you here. I know quite a few Polish people now. All are hard working decent people, unlike a few Scottish people I know.
More often than not, the exact people accussing the immigrants of doing such said scrounging are the people who appear on Jeremy Kyle being exposed for doing the exact thing.

Wasn't this on the news a few years ago. Why can't the UK be like Austrailia, only letting in people if they are needed or will be useful to the economy :( (even though the immigrants have been helping the economy a lot).

I'd like to clear this up about the Ps3 price. All Ps3 consoles are sold by Sony at a loss. They sell the console for less that what all its' components are worth. This is part of their marketing technique, they make sure people get access to the console more easily, then they rely on the selling of games as their source of income. A very bold, and dangerous move. Henman is right when he says you get more for you money when buying a Ps3, but that doesn't even matter, wanna know why? The Ps3 is unable to fully utilize its' power, and it will be unable to do so for atleast a few years until the software catches up with it, that's what the president of Sony confirmed.
So, the Ps3 is really a console to buy for the future. It's a gamble. Buy it right now in the hopes it outruns the Xbox 360 in a few years, or pick what you know works, the Xbox360?
