I finally got the keys to my new place today. I'm moving most of the stuff over tomorrow morning and the bed arrives on Sunday, so Sunday night will be my offical move-in. I'll be broke as F' for the fortnight but at least all my initial bills are paid and my mental state will finally improve.

I think this horror in Paris is going to send people right over the rails. There's been protests everywhere in regards to "Islamifying countries", innocent Muslim citizens being targeted and attacked by bigoted zealots, apparently France declaring full-war and all sorts of shit.

To each their own. I don't mind a good root once in a while but unlike a lot of guys here (in my area) it's not something I desperately crave once a week.

So my gay ex-roommate has been having lots of success w/ the dating apps and gay bars. He'll occasionally discover that some of our mutual friends are secretly gay and tell me about it. Anyways, I've also talked on here before about one of my friends who's tried the dating sites on and off for the past couple of years, but hasn't had any dates or results from it because he doesn't want to follow my advice. Well turns out that friend is actually secretly gay! Everything makes so much sense now! LOL.
I really hope he ends up as happy and successful with it as my ex-roommate. He really seemed miserable and frustrated with his dating life.
Honestly It'll be lucky if he finds someone date-worthy. There's a reason gay couples are so rare and rarely last, most of us rely too much on those stupid apps like Grindr so getting laid is quite literally a press of a button. Because of it most guys have a very little attention factor when it comes with spending time with other guys.
A good perspective is to put it like this:
~10% male population is gay, of that a good 7% rely heavily on hook-up apps and cannot commit what-so-ever to a relationship. That leaves you with ~3% of the remaining men to consider, THEN you need to factor in the obvious like sexual attraction, personality, personal traits etc.
It's the reason I'm still single where I live, almost every guy here uses Grindr etc so much, no one can commit anymore, and those who don't are usually already in a relationship or are not sexually attractive by my standards what-so-ever.

WELP, you were right RPG. Didn't even make out with any guys as the club was dead, got too drunk and as I wandered home some guy just up and kicked me out of no where while lashing out "keep walking you [bleep]" while trying to swing punches at my head. some guy came along and pulled ME away and told me to stop. I wasn't the [bleep]ing psychopath trying to punch people out of no where on the streets. Ended up crawling into bed and had an emotional breakdown.
What a fun way to end a birthday. >.>

A friend from work bought me a 1L bottle of Vodka and took me out for lunch as none of my family live near me anymore so I'm kinda on my own. I'll probably be passed out in some guy's bed in the next 12 hours.

Most of the guys from pre-'06 sadly are long gone, and even then there's little pre-08 left too. With reddit and social media being used more for Runescape-related media, most forums lost plenty of members and activity slumped. (That and the huge community split in 2012 over Efficiency blowing out of proportion.)
