  1. I want to try out killing glacors, but I'm not sure what I should take. I know roughly how to kill them and which order to kill the glacyte's, but any other tips would be useful.

I've not got soulsplit yet, but I have got a unicorn. Gear wise I have ganodermic and chaotic staff. I'm guessing I should use fire wave seen as I've not got the level for fire surge? And should I be praying because I haven't got soulsplit? What invent should I take?

I've also got Ovls, so I can use them aswell.

    Any help appreciated!

  2. Somebody posted this on another topic a while back:

    Pale - 1-10      1283 energy needed
    Flickering - 10-20      2269 energy needed
    Bright - 20-30      4223 energy needed
    Glowing - 30-40      7834 energy needed
    Sparkling - 40-50      11928 energy needed
    Gleaming - 50-60      20414 energy needed
    Vibrant - 60-70      34856 energy needed
    Lustrous - 70-80      58610 energy needed
    Brilliant - 80-85      46346 energy needed
    Radiant - 85-90      69076 needed
    Luminous - 90-95      101893 energy needed
    Incandescent - 95-99      115494 energy needed

Though you won't need to buy this much, as I assume this is total energy, so including energy harvested aswell.
  3. ah i see, is there a guide on the internet that says how much energies i need to buy per tier, or per level?

I coudnt find one, maybe im blind>.<

Search for the thread 'Divination Energy' and look for the thread by Tansuo, should be near the top. I'd link but it keeps messing up for me..

But from 90-99 at med GE price its around 29m.

  4. The difference is small, about 1%. That said, you buy rapiers at 20% charge, whereas claws start at 100% charge. To repair your rapiers, you'll need 2.4m gp (1.6 mh + 0.8 oh) or 240k gp and 24k tokens. Claws might also get a special attack soon, which is why they've gone up.

Guess I may aswell just go with claws then, thanks :)

  5. Is there much of a difference between chaotic claws and rapiers? Claws have raised by a ridiculous amount, and would rather not pay that much if the difference isn't really that great :\

  6. Alright thanks :p

    Another question about frost dragons:

What gear and invent should I take, assuming I'll have all 80 combats by this point?

I'd have dual claws, super antifires/extremes, best BoB would be war tort. Can afford to spend abit on gear, but not too much (about 30m at most).

  7. I'll have enough tokens to get my first chaotic soon, but I'm not sure which one to get. Once I've got 80 attack and chaotics, I'll probably be doing a little bit of slayer, but mainly frost dragons when I get 85 dung.

I'm thinking dual rapiers would be the best for this, though I'm not sure if they're the best chaotic for frost dragons/in general. I'll be getting more at a later point, but which chaotics would be best for now?

    EDIT:

  8. I'd suggest you do wilderness bands, they are really helpful to get free smithing, also speeds up mining..

Thieving.. well good luck on that - pyramid plunder I guess.

    Crafting - do stealing creation

for hunter, i'd say lizards :)

I'll have a look into them, especially the wilderness bands, thanks :)

Mining/Smithing can be boosted from 78/80 respectively for BotD with the help of a Dwarven stout (m) and possibly from 75/77 if you're *very* lucky with spicy stews.

Ahhh thats good then, saves me from getting a few extra levels! Thanks :p

  9. I've decided to train my skills up enough to do all the quests, but theres a few skills I'm not sure on how I should train:

    Thieving from 57-74

    Crafting 62-76

    Hunter 57-67

    Mining 56-80

    Smithing 59-82

I'd like to do fairly fast methods, but I've not got loads of cash to spend on crafting and smithing, so I'd be okay with doing slightly slower methods if it saves me a decent amount of cash.

I've got no idea on how best to train these, so any help is appreciated.

    Thanks  :D

  10. O.o That's strange... Might just hve been bad luck, or maybe this person did do something to you.... Did he only contact you in rs?

    Yep, only contacted on there.

And wasn't on Skype or anything like that either.

Just happened again, computer got shut down and he tried to take the rest of bank but couldn't. Now the laptop won't connect to the Internet at all and isnt working propely. All the other laptops are connecting to the Internet, so it's just this laptop.

  11. Went to someones attempt of a 'lure', when i got to him computer got shut down. When i got back on, all stuff had gone that i was wearing, which was basically my bank. Ive ran virus scan, and theres nothing. Downloaded nothing recently at all. How did this happen? :S

  12. It is hard to say whether wildy green drags or CT green drags would be better, since in one scenario you have single way combat, but face PKers and in the other scenario you have to tank up to 2 dragons at a time and face people like me who like to steal kills.

It's not hard to find an empty world at CT drags, and you can trap the drags so that only 1 is attacking you. So, CT drags are the best.
