  1. As for your questions, I'm not entirely sure. The clan world, for the most part, is very unpredictable. You never know what could happen this summer in terms of a clan doing something historic.

However, during the summer, we'll probably see some longer PKRIs; most likely even longer than the 24 hour record held by The Titans vs Divine Forces. Also, without a doubt, a majority of clans will increase their numbers & activity, resulting in more fights in general.

  2. What are your views about clans who reopen under the same name - should they? Shouldn't they?

Once a clan closes, as far as I'm concerned, it has served its purpose and it shouldn't reopen whatsoever, whether it be under the same name or not. 99% of the time, the clan will never live up to its former glory and reopening taints the history of the clan itself.

How would you react if, in the future, your current clan closed but then reopened?

I would say, "Oh, that's cool," and then not rejoin due to my beliefs about reopening a clan (which are above).

Have you seen any examples of clans reopening and being successful? Or opening under a different name and being successful?

Yes. RuneScape Dinasty is the first (and for whatever reason, only) successful reopening that comes to mind. Although they did close long ago, they're still a remake regardless, and are currently, arguably, the best F2P PvP PKRI clan in the game.

  3. I would prefer the original method of spamming; auto-typers are just one step closer to just running a series of bots instead of actually having PKRIs because people are literally too lazy to play a game. So, yes. I agree with muting people for using auto-typers during fights.

However, that being said, player moderators that only mute the opposition and not their own clan definitely deserve to have their status revoked.

  4. When do you think it's fair game for someone to leave a clan?

Whenever they wish to. It's their choice to leave and nothing else can dictate that. Although people may have disappointing reasons for leaving, it's up to them and they have no real obligation to staying, considering this is a game.

Have you ever flamed anyone who left in one of your past/current clans?

Yes, I have. Several times. Frankly, they deserved it. One of the people left the clan and began to crash our events. Another decided to ragequit and delete our forums because he wasn't getting a promotion. One smart cookie decided to follow the first person I mentioned because of some stupid e-relationship. And, of course, somebody left because we didn't have a PK trip on Christmas.

People have every right to leave a clan, but pathetic reasons for leaving disappoint me. Further pathetic actions against the clan result in myself flaming said person. If they show disrespect, I will too.

  5. more of a tie then a win for you, i don't get why you logged after 10 seconds of saying you won....

Clans generally log out after fights are over. It's kind of how it works.

    Congrats CR.

  6. After a good performance against RoT yesterday, we were pumped going into this battle against TR. We thought we'd be outnumbered and that'd we'd have to be on our A games to win, but surprisingly TR pulled 2 less people than us making it an even number fight.

    Corruption starting: 50

    The Rising starting: 48

Both clans had great performances and put up a good fight. We gained numbers while TR stayed around the same. We had some great calls from our callers and won the fight with a 38 kill lead.

Corruption ending: 58 (61 in TS)

    The Rising ending: 42

    Thanks for the fight TR!

Managing to surpass our goal of a 30-man pull with 32, we had a disconnection and somebody on curses, causing the fight to begin at 30v30. We rushed TT and both first piles managed to drag for a bit, and then got killed causing it to be an even fight from the first pile. Strong tanking at the mid-20s gave us a decent lead that we would expand until The Titans left with around 13 people left.

TT piled Mageprayhero first, who managed to tank them for 3 kills (and broke boundaries, sorry) to give us an immediate lead. Due to impressive tanking by a few members, we would quickly increase the lead pile after pile until The Titans left their clan chat.

    Quoted from TKO Blitz forums:

    TKO Blitz -vs- Dutch Generation

After Dutch Generation embarrassed us in our last encounter, Mike eagerly set up a rematch with DG Officials to redeem ourselves with the following rules:

    2 Rounds Matched CWA

    Round 1: All Styles

    Round 2: Melee & Binds

    Corrupt OFF

    Dung OFF

    Rings ON

    North Spawn Attacks

    2 Sniper Cap R2

    Round 1 Starting

    tkoagainstdg2.jpg

We managed to get north spawn, giving us the rights to attack. We rushed DG's dance and took an early lead thanks to a quick kill. By the time DG's first pile had died, we were up by two and never looked back thanks to strong binding and tanking.

    Round 1 Ending

    tkoagainstdg3.jpg

    Round 2 Starting

    tkoagainstdg5.jpg

Fully aware of DG's ability in Melee & Binds, we were expecting a very difficult war this time and got one. Shortly after rushing, we had a disconnection, but good tanking caused it to not be a factor in the war. After a few quick kills on people in robes and a DG sniper, we were able to take a comfortable lead. However, yet another disconnection and a cabbage teleport caused the war to be even at around 15-15. We stepped up binding and tanking to take home a close win. (Sorry about sending three snipers instead of two for around half a minute, there was some confusion.)

    Round 2 Ending

    tkoagainstdg6.jpg

Thanks for the fights, Dutch Generation.

  9. Thanks for the fight. We did pretty well for the majority of the beginning of the fight but you took over near the end. Too bad it had to be dragged on for so long though. (Just continues to set precedent for any future wars coming up between any top clan.)

Your 24 hour fight really set the pace. Since then, RSD vs VR has gone for 21 hours & this fight has gone for 15 and a half, all within half a month.

Looking forward to the week long PKRIs in the summer.

  10.

Two days ago I set up a PK trip in hopes of getting whatever the hell we could get in the wilderness. We did our usual, walked up to spiders on W93, and much to our avail we were rushed by DF. Needless to say we expected EoS to hit us but were nonetheless refreshed to see a change of scenery.

    Corruption starting: 189 options

Divine Forces starting: Pretty much the same as us, I think

    110409210932.png

I don't really feel like writing much, I think us winning makes a big enough statement. I will say this: both clans definitely had their ups and downs and yes, the fight was long, but it was very well fought by both sides. I think it's fair to say that at times CoR was dominating and at times DF seemed to be doing really well. I think both clans had sincere aspirations of beating DF/TT's 24 hour record and yes, both clans made several claims that it would indeed happen this fight. Much to our surprise DF had decided that it was not worth their time.

Nonetheless it was definitely nice to have a fight this long once again from our point of view and it was definitely very enjoyable. I hope this could possibly be the start to a maybe renewed rivalry.

15 1/2 hours later CoR took ending at Member Gate:

Corruption ending: 180 options (71 on TS)

Divine Forces ending: 25 people on TS (just what I heard, don't hate)

We were hoping for a decent fight with FOOLS like last week. We expected no [cabbage] like before but unfortunately that didn't happen.

The fight started with us hitting FOOLS and taking control of the fight. We were all over them, transitioning through their blasters/rangers/fallin leaders with ease. We had a solid 150 opts all fight and were pretty much demolishing FOOLS.

EoS decided to rush in on a mandatory trip with 20 people but were cleared instantly. At this point they got angry and massed for another 20 minutes and came back with 35 people. They couldn't maintain a solid pile (rofl?) so they decided to mass snipe us.

With EoS on us and FOOLS refusing to stop, even though it was in the rules, so it motivated us even more to carry on.

We kept strong throughout the whole fight, smashing FOOLS main pile and clearing EoS snipers with ease. After taking a heavy beating for about 40 minutes FOOLS walked down at 9:30 gmt and EoS got cleared pretty much instantly after.

  12. TKO Blitz -vs- True 0wnage

Earlier in the week, Warria06 contacted TKO Officials for a war. Knowing that T0 are no easy opponent, we set up fairly standard rules and prepared for a difficult fight:

    Rules

    2 Rounds Matched CWA

    R1 - All Styles

    R2 - Melee + Binds

    Corrupt OFF

    Dung ON

    Rings ON

    North Spawn Attacks R1

    Reverse Attacker R2

    2 Sniper Cap

    Round 1

    Starting

    TKOvT0starting.jpg

Using the advantage of dungeoneering, we had our gravite 2-hander unit ready to go. Thanks to Mike failing to get us north (yet again), we got into an awful dance and waited for T0 to attack. Both first piles managed to tank for a decent amount of time, but TKO took a quick lead thanks to a few quick kills while Venomous did an impressive job of tanking as their second pile. Following Venomous, H A Richards also did a great job tanking while we quickly killed off a few more T0 members. After some more fighting, T0 left the clan chat:

    Round 2

    Starting

    TKOvT0starting2.jpg

After a few failed attempts at setting up a war, we managed to get the correct rules. T0 got into a dance, and TKO rushed to commence the fight. TKO piled Zeus, and T0's first pile was Esmir. Both first piles tanked evenly, but TKO then took a lead thanks to a quick kill. Following a couple of transitions by Beybladex90, TKO widened the gap. Eventually, the inevitable occurred and Beybladex90's internet disconnected. After a few seconds of disorganization, Venomous stepped up to the plate and did an excellent job of leading to finish up the fight. T0 left the clan chat when they had around 9 left in the portal, leaving us with:

    Ending

    TKOvT0ending2.jpg

Thanks for the fight, T0. It was a pleasure as always.
