  1. I also was hoping for the Mummy costume...I stock up on weird items of clothing for videos. Bone Brooch is nice in theory but for those who don't have the easter ring there's always the ring of stone. Why bother adding on yet another one of those then? After all I'd take being a rock or an egg any day over being a pile of bones :P. As far as the pets, its pretty much the same argument from me. We've been loaded with holiday pets, and as cute as they are, the concept is starting to feel a bit tired. I'm also pretty sure if a pet won we'd have lag spikes like no tomorrow !

  2. Good thing it last for only a short while, I wonder how much revenue Jagex is getting from this. Lets hope this doesn't lead to other Disney affiliated things... *Cough* Disney advertising Runescape *Cough*

Disney would probably not want to advertise Runescape because it has drinking and killing in it, and you know how good and wholesome Disney has been since its National Socialist years. ;)

Ahem...bar scene from Beauty and the Beast...a lyric from which said quite blatantly "no one drinks like gaston!" And killing? Errr more than 90% of Disney movies depict killing. The prince slaying a dragon in Sleeping Beauty, Hercules slaying the Hydra, Scar getting devoured by Hyenas, Clayton accidentally hanging himself while fighting Tarzan...the list goes on and on. So it would be hypocritical if Disney would not do so on the claims of taking the higher moral ground :P.

  3. A surface dungeon entrance

Weve taken some time to consider the surface world applications of Dungeoneering - things your character can do outside of Daemonheim thanks to their hard work at levelling the new skill. Weve come up with the concept of reward dungeons.

Several places across RuneScape will have extra nooks and crannies added that only those skilled in delving the depths of Daemonheim will fathom how to enter. These areas may contain a few extra spawns of that over-camped monster youre trying to kill; or perhaps some additional resources for you to collect with less competition from other players; or maybe, just maybe, a fearsome creature new to the surface of RuneScape, freshly escaped from the frozen depths of Daemonheim itself!

This portion truly excited me the most. As fun as it is to escape from typical RuneScape and wreck havoc down in Daemonheim, I was really hoping this skill would have surface world application. While this isn't exactly what I pictured it certainly would be helpful nevertheless. I can only pray that there would be a secret dungeon with a new rune respawn . I would gladly level my dungeoneering much more adamantly if this will be the case. That being said, they better make the reqs on the steeper side if a miner like myself or any other skiller could truly benefit from less competition.

  4. - What do you have you're private chat set to and why?

I have my private chat set to Friends. It was not my true intention to have it that but it slowly started becoming necessary. There are two reasons behind me doing so. I don't mean to give one of the stereotypical reasons of: "I was getting swamped with 'will you be my gf' requests," but this was truly one of the most motivating ones. For quite awhile I would simply utilise the ignore list but it was starting to become ineffective as I was receiving them non-stop and my list would constantly max out. By setting it to friends, I can clearly see pms coming from people who I have truly enjoyed talking to and are mature enough to hold a conversation that isn't similar to an e-harmony request.

The second reason may sort of collide with what you said regarding providing help. As a Tip.It crew member, I have my name pop up here and there on Tip.It guides. Upon joining crew, I started getting messages from people asking for help on a variety of topics, some of which I don't have much experience with. I tried to respond to as many as best I could and when I didn't have the information they needed or enough time to explain in detail, I'd direct them to a guide on the site. When I had to redirect people, some would be courteous enough to understand while others would be beyond rude and even curse at me  ("You're suppose to help me *expletive* thats your job!") It eventually became too unmanageable and I started getting these kind of pms around the clock, so I gave up :(.

    - When (if ever) you have Private Chat set to 'on' about how often do you get spammed by other players? (e.g. once a day, twice a day once a week, etc...)

I would probably receive 10-20 pms at once upon setting private chat to On.

    - In what ways do you agree/disagree with what I'm saying. Explain.

I half agree with what you're saying. Sadly, in today's RS, there is a trend of being less and less helpful as well as an air of elitism. However, as you see in my and several other cases, those two issues are not the biggest factor of keeping your private chat on Friends. Also, some people merely desire their privacy and are not keen on talking with people they do not know very well. In a way, this is a very practical reason especially for younger RS players who need to protect their privacy on the internet. So no, I do not think that setting your private chat to Friends is arrogant due to the infinite reasons that outweigh "arrogant players."

  5. I ran into a door called a "Liquid Lock Door".

The only option you get is add-compound, but when I try this it says "you are unable to unlock this door".

Up to now I haven't figured out what to do with it or to it. It might be members-only, but I am F2p.

I ran into this door once up to now, at level 39 dungeoneering on floor 13 (complexity 6).

Who knows wether I can do something to it, and if I can, what?

As you guessed it is members only. It is an herblore door and requires a vial to unlock.

  6. Its funny that most of us are getting excited over possible cc changes and not so much the event itself . Sounds interesting, don't get me wrong, but combat isn't really my thing. I'm just getting a little tired of so many combat oriented competitions/content. Still though, its a nice move on Jagex's part to try to cater to clans a bit more often than they use to. So all in all, this competition is a good move...and the CC changes, an even better move  !

  7. Tripsis your art is so imaginative and has such an impressionistic quality to it. While your combat pieces are incredibly impressive, I'm a fan of some of the more sentimental ones you've done. I recall one with a boy and a girl on a grass field and footsteps shaped like hearts leading to him. That one always touched me...call me sentimental, but I completely fell for it <3:.

  8. Guess I'll be the first to break in this new forum ! Quite a passionate machinima maker myself and possess a love for it almost as deep as mining . So without further adieu, here's a featured vid of mine!
