I got nothing on my daily spins, but I had two tickets and a double ticket in my inventory. Got Curled horns on the first spin with them. My bank's full so I'm unable to claim them as I don't want to leave RuneSpan!

I was over the moon last night when I logged in and could actually play properly. I had 5-10 FPS anywhere in RuneScape, even on the lowest settings. Now I can have 30+, on full HD.. I can't even remember the last time I could do that.. :D

Ketchup, I pasted an image on the previous page that you should look at. If you compare that with every area now, you'll see a massive difference. I was only finding one node every few islands, and it was generally a lower one, after the hotfix.

It seems to me nodes can't despawn; they either get used or get spawned over (one or twice had a blood pool turn into a soul on me) so it is natural for the low end ones epsecially to accumulate.
Spawn rate also seems to be tied to either world population and/or population in-game. As it has gotten busier nodes are spawning more.

I think it's entirely random, it's probably unlikely you'll receive the same PM from the same bot as it is. So I'm not sure how beneficial it will be to ignore them. I mute them, but still get plenty every day. Sometimes Ii'll get 5-6 in the space of a few seconds.

It did say on the Maintenance thread that things may be off in-game, still. They also said for people not to have valuable items on them, just to be safe. Surprised they didn't have that on the main page news post. I'm too lazy to get a QFC for you, but it's on the Tech Support forum.

Yes, and back then the direction of the company was different. Things change, Mark's still the CEO but the people above him making the big decisions have decided to move to micro-transactions. Things said in the past no longer apply.
The past being what happened...well, how long ago was the release of the Ornate Katana redeemable? The point he's trying to make is that they were holding this policy fast until this happened like a sock-in-the-face, with no preamble or even an attempt to slowly introduce it. And while they've shed the first part of the "we're never doing microtransactions or allowing you to buy an advantage", they're still holding onto the last part of that when it's clearly not true. Can that be easily fixed? Yeah. But for PR and company policy to get on the same page, while doing bunny-hops over the gaping potholes of the other existing issues within the company, it will take months if we're lucky - or we'll get no clarification and just hamfisted transitions as we've already tasted today.
I understand his point, but it's pretty irrelevant at this time. If policy was to be changed here by the Admins, regarding botting and it was no longer considered to be against the rules, just here (Not the best argument, but I'll continue), then any statements you made in the past on the subject no longer apply... Regardless of how anti-bots you may have been. I don't know if you get what I'm talking about, but yeah.
I'm not backing up what they've done, or trying to protect them, but bringing something from the past to this discussion is pointless.

The statements in your signature were from...2009? Things have changed since then. Majority of Jagex being owned by investors now, so the basis before doesn't apply to now at all.

From what I gather, there's only security issues if you clicked to save your credit card details the last time you input them. When I did it, there was no option for that. It asked me to resubmit all of my details. I recommend you guys go in and change your settings, too. Foolish of Jagex to not immediately request all details to be resubmitted for this. <_<

Did I say anything about the difficulty level? You've said your 9 year old is now addicted? (Not sure if serious...). The game's 13+, not because of the "Difficulty rating", but because of the content and the communication with strangers. But hey, I'm not going to question your parenting. :thumbup:

I'm not really involved with marketing, but I'm sure when you spend the money on an ad you're going to try encourage people as much as you can. "The world's greatest adventure", untrue as it may be is probably the right thing to say.
