<Cries>
Obvious fail is obvious.
-
Did you talk to Surok on the surface? You might have to go back to the entrance and try to arrest him.
Huh. All I see is gibberish gibberish gibberish. I did this quest quite a while back. Do I really have to go back?
(You always post, <3. Although, you may claim the title "Bearer of bad news" from now on.)
EDIT:
In my quest log:
"I need to tell Surok in Varrock that he is under arrest." Is crossed out.
Maybe I need my beacon ring?
-
Ah, everyone is so helpful. <3:
Although it seems everyone knows a lot more about Runecrafting than anything else.
This is perfect, I got such a great plan now - although, what is EE?
And yes, I did do ToG already.
Now I gotta get back my RoC(e). Ergh.
Thankx for all the replies.
-
Yeah, I got to room 1 and it keeps saying: "This portall does not appear to be working."
This is my first time trying to kill the guy, I have done What Lies Below and I have 44 slayer. I'm kind of just chilling in here, I even dismissed my summon, but it didn't help at all.
Any ideas? Did I forget to talk to an NPC because I didn't talk to anyone, I just opened up the statue with the pick and ran here.
-
Wow Sinkhan, thankx so much.
Runecrafting - So, including Ardy Cloak 2, Explorer's ring, ess pouches, is there anything else I should get in attire? (I have all stat reducing equipment already too.)
Agility - Does the werewolf course have requirements? I'll look it up if you don't answer~
Herblore - No idea what Morionic's charts are, but will do.
Crafting - K.
Slayer - K.
Firemaking - Going to have to do some math on this.
Farming - Are oranges or curry better, I assume it would be an issue of affordability, am I right? Can you really farm on MTK? I always assumed that girl was there forever weeding that patch for all eternity for no reason.
Summoning - Ugh, another thing to add to do on my list every day. Bork or whatever, blegh. I'll also probably get enough charms from slayer...maybe.
I have no idea how to do penguins, it looks so complicated and hard, teleporting all over Runescape looking for penguins. Is there a world for it, I remember seeing a post. I'll go search.
EDIT:
Herblore - Ah, its a player made chart. Thanks.
Firemaking - Yeah, I'll do yew logs.
Getting ready for Bork or whatever, doing some research.
-
Rcing - nats via tele graahk and dueling ring to cwars
smithing - buy steel bars and smelt into cballs, slower but gets you some profit you'll need for herblore etc.
agility - wildy course
farming - do farming/herb runs in between training other skills
craft - for slow but a small amount profitable mine at shilo village gems and cut into bolt tips
summoning - get charms from slayer tasks and do whatever it is that is good for training at that level, use up those greens unless you want to make your own bunyip pouches in the future
Runecrafting - Wouldn't I lose money? Or no?
Smithing - I like Blast Furnace, I hate anything else, lol.
Agility - Should I get the new gloves or whatever? I don't know much about them, I even forgot what they're called.
Farming - K.
Crafting - Sounds viable, anyone else have an opinion?
Summoning - K. I also have like 13k shards in my bank.
Thanks for the advice.
EDIT:
Mining - Is there a better option? I just feel as if I'm missing an option.
Hunting - Should I do black lizards? Ugh, I'm so indecisive.
Farming - I'm doing curry (fruit) trees and whatever herb seeds I have. Should I include bushes or something on my path?
-
I hear under the chaos temple has a bunch of high-hp, weak-damage skeletons; with salve(e) you could easily tear through them. Maybe try MM undead monkies under the altar with prayer bonus armor and piety/potions.
What are your other stats?
-
Prayer - I got altar, no worries, I'll kill green dragons.
Runecrafting - Idk, I have explorer's ring 3, that is about it. Natures would be best? I was doing that before I lost P2p. I should use the abyss right, I think I can use ghakks (Spelling fail).
Dungeoneering - Got it lock and key.
Agility - I'm doing Agility Arena, got 200 tickets, got karamja gloves 2, I need about 1400 more...Should I do Agility Pyramid or Wilderness Course instead?
Herblore - Prices all changed, I used to do Serum 207, is it still cheap or no? I'm actually willing to leave this skill at 56 if it is too expensive.
Thieving - Pyramid Plunder, easy.
Crafting - Gold necklaces look too good to be true, I don't know any prices for this skill.
Slayer - Should I get black mask?
Hunting - Chinchompas, easy.
Mining - Granite, got enchanted water tiara.
Smithing - Blast Furnance, easy.
Firemaking - Maples.
Farming - I'll figure this one out myself.
Summoning - I have 36 blue, 149 crimsons, 280 greens, 77 gold. No idea how I got 58 summoning, lol. I remember I have access to the Oo'glog pools and the meat shop obviously.
Thanks for reading. Can you figure out better ways than these, and give your opinions.
Everything is appreciated.
Oh yeah, should I do penguin points? I don't know about the new content that much.
-
=D>That was beautiful. You sure do have a way with words - to say the least.
Obviously I concur with everything you say; however, there are bad side effects to playing Runescape, never forget.
What should be lamented is that players like you recognize the ingenuity and preciousness of Runescape, yet Jagex themselves seem to have lost their focus in implementing such ideals and ideology through the content they provide. It could easily be considered the fault of real life restrictions, but their focus has wavered - no?
Now, I don't want this to become a debate, just bringing up a point. Nothing would diminish the intricacy with which you have praised Runescape.

You could always disable UAC (if you haven't already) and see if that works.
Just type "msconfig" in your run box from your start menu, then go to the Tools tab in the system configuration prompt, then scroll down and you should see:
"Disable UAC" And
"Enable UAC".
Highlight Disable UAC and click launch, you'll have to restart.
Its worth a shot, please re-enable it if it doesn't work, its a good security feature.

Moved~

Wait, I think I'm wrong about recovering using the old username because logically speaking it would cause a lot of problems for Jagex. However, my friend said he recovered his account and I don't know whether there are conditions behind it or not, like time frames and whether the name gets retaken. I'm just confusing myself now.
Have you tried to recover your account already?
I'm trying to access the options as much as possible, and I know that it'll show you this message: "You must enter a valid username to proceed. Please try again." if the account name is non-existant. I don't know whether it'll show up for changed usernames or not, so have you tried? Also, after you put in the username and it arrives to "Recover stolen/forgotten password." It will tell you whether the account is locked or not.
-
He was talking in past tense. I thought he thought clan wars was dead, so I thought showing him that it wasn't would be nice. lol
And I would easily say Dungeoneering is taking a large portion of peoples' interests at the moment, once it dies down in the next month, you'll probably see a lot more people going to 129 for clan warring.
-
There is a higher probability that it was permanently banned. I don't understand whether or not you can search for someone's high-scores based on their previous name, but I would assume you can.
You can still recover it with the old username though, that I know for sure.
Good luck.
-
Perhaps you could try the unofficial tipper chat: Lady Heinous/Shyla for some help.
Maybe try switching to popular worlds?
-
Worlds are themed now, including Clan Wars.
-
What is your current and previous numbers?
It could easily be that you did floor one twice on accident or something.
-
Thanks a lot, I will use this but a unholy book and black vambs instead, zamorak vambraces too expensive for now.
So a restore pot is not needed?
Get a Zamorak Coif, you need a Granite Shield.
Well, you could bring one, I guess, I usually just use the prayer thingie.
-
When I go to my setup is like this:
Torag's helm
Armadyl Pendant
Ava's Accumulator
Saradomin chest
Rune xbow
Obby Shield
Torag's Legs
Snakeskin boots
Broad Bolts
Ring of Life (from what I've heard, RoW gives less profit)
Zammy Vambraces
In my inventory I have:
Natures
Fire Runes (Don't take staff, you might alch your xbow)
Bones to Peaches Tablets
Mithril Grapple
One click Tele
Rest monkfish
You could take a couple range pots if you want to, but I don't. We have pretty similar skills, and thats how I tank them.
That looks extremely expensive...a god piece can easily cost 1mil...
You could substitute barrows for dragon easily, but who wants to spend that much money when food is so cheap.

Equipment:
- Rune Cbow
- Broad Bolts
- Armadyl Pendant/Fury/Glory
- Granite Shield/Obby Shield (If you have money, I don't recommend it, Granite is more than enough.)
- Accumulator
- Neitznot; otherwise, anything you want. (Saradomin Coif if you want.)
- Black Dragonhide Body
- Dragon Plateskirt (Same stats as Dragon Platelegs, but way cheaper.)
- Zamorak Vambraces
- Archer Ring (Optional)
- Snakeskin Boots
Inventory:
- Grappling Hook
- High alch runes
- B2P Tabs
- Cheap Food
- BoB if you want, for more cheap food.
Tanking is a way better option, your 80 defense, you'll be able to tank for a long time.

Uhm, could you clarify.
What is your Anti-Virus, I can't tell if you think MAM or Spybot are your anti-virus or you have another program.
Did you say you accidentally deleted your boot file?
Do you get any error messages when you try to open up the browsers? Or in general.
Do you have a recovery point?
Would you consent to re-formatting? Do you have an external hard-drive?
Could be low RAM if all of your new programs are starting at boot-up. Have you tried doing "msconfig" or going into the anti-virus programs and have them not start from boot-up.
Spybot and MAM don't exactly mix, they even have warnings prior to scanning if they detect each other. So, based on your predicament, either you did something, or the virus won. Either way, something is missing.
Just some things I was hoping to know, I'm not really a good techie, but I have personal experiences with these thingies.
-
I still remember my first time starting farming as well. Best way to learn is by experience, just bury some seeds you get from thieving. Dump some compost if you want and water, learn from your mistakes, lol.
Good luck.
-
That's disappointing to say the least, weapon flash anyone?
Would you still consider the weapons worth it OP?
-
Superheat iron ores. You'll lose like 2 gp per xp, but it's the best magic xp you'll get per hour superheating. Mithril/steel/addy often vary between losing less than 1 gp/xp or gaining less than 1 gp/xp, but are slower xp per hour.
If you had wines of zammy in your bank I'd recommend going there to curse, plus grabbing wines when they spawn, but I don't know if that would even work out very well.
I lose like 200gp if I superheat iron ore. I gave up on cursing, sold my body runes. Telegrabbing looks terrible...

I just killed Bork, was I supposed to attack Soruk at all? He had an attack option, but I was kind of preoccupied with the giant 267 trying to murder me.
