  1. Already cleared bank space. I just don't know what to super-heat. Someone just tell me what to do, lol. I hate being so indecisive.

(I was selling my body runes, sorry for not replying)

EDIT: Damn, losing money if I superheat mith.

  2. Only F2p items are counted as "taken" bank spots nowadays, so you won't have to be removing your P2p overflow (or so my exmember friend tells me).

For cursing several locations have been mentioned in earlier posts, but I'd like to add the Black knight's fortress. Although it will require some focuss, the level 8 knights shouldn't do much damage at defence 80.

Assuming money is an issue for you, if you are able to bank bars you could always go mining and superheat the bars of the kind you can bank (this will generate profit) and then use the profit to buy alcs or alternatively smith the bars while alcing the items you smith.

I personally did this with mithril (bringing ores into the guild, banking bars, then smithing + alcing mithril platebodies) until magic 90-ish. Although that might be slower training, if done for only a short while it can still offer cash for faster training methods you might want to utilize.

Ugh, you guys are the worst guilt trip evar, I swear. I think I've second guessed myself a hundred times by now.

Ok, so based on your friend's advice, I have 86 F2p items and if I remove 19, It'll say 67/68? This is tough. Not to mention I already bought 153k body runes, lol. Good thing I bought them at 4gp each.

:( I don't wanna ruin my talisman collection or my clothing sets or my mould set. This is going to be tough.

  3. I can always make bankspace by withdrawing a couple items and wearing them, superheating requires only 3 bank spaces and putting on rune wont affect it

<looks dismally at the 426 items in bank>

Yeah, I might need a few more body parts.

  4. Please, if you buy a pre-paid/debit card from the store, do not connect it to paypal. That would be redundant and a waste of money because paypal holds a small fee and you won't be able to activate it.

Your best option is a debit card, you can just buy one and use it like a credit card.

It looks as if you just don't want your parents to know.

Paypal is just a middle-man, in no way is it helpful to you unless you have a peer-to-peer internet based transactions. Seeing as how Runescape won't exactly steal your money, its really pointless. If you really want one, I suggest first making a personal account and verifying it with NetSpend (Please research these sites if you're unsure, they have good credentials) or getting a paypal card sent to your home.

  5. May i ask why you're cusing?, its not exactly a good way of increasing magic level.

Since your using a tome of frost, i assume you are not low-leveled, so idk why you would be using it.

If by chance its because of cost, then your better off superheating since the time you save from cursing you can use to gain the small money loss back

    No bank space.

This is going to a take forever, I wonder how far I can go...

  6. Okay, I looked around the site and on the RS site, and I cannot seem to find a guide to what happens when you die in RS. I know you keep 3 items etc, Ive been playing for awhile. My question really is what determines your gravestone, and what can you do to get other people's stuff when they die?

    Here is what you need:

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=beginners_guide.htm

But just to do a quickie, this is some things you should just know.

When you die, you keep three of the most valuable items based on shop prices. When you die, you get a gravestone, depending on what type you have, it can last from three to six minutes. You can upgrade your gravestones by buying them and doing some quests. Now, people can repair your gravestone to the maximum time for a cost of 3 prayer points - if they have 70 prayer, they can even bless it which gives you an hour.

  7. I've come up with a few problems while curse training and I need your help!

    Problem:

    1. I can't curse Mage Dummies in Lumbridge.

    2. The highest I can lower my magic attack bonus is -50 because of the water tomb, making it hard to splash. Is there any equipment better than this:

    - Metal Helmet, Metal Armor, Metal Legs

    - D Vambs

    - Fighting Boots

    3. Places to curse. I need a place with a lot of monsters in multi-combat area where either a lot of people fight monsters, or where their levels are so low that I can't get damaged. I tried to do the Varrok mice trick I made up years ago, but now the mice animation movement makes it so hard. Preferably a place where I can be of help. I'm testing my own theories, but I would like to hear some of yours.

  8. First thing you should do is the Family Crest Quest for the cooking gauntlets, this will most likely save you weeks of time. These gauntlets will allow you to not burn food at a lower level, like a invisible cooking boost.

    Burn Table:

    *With gauntlets

    Tuna - 65

    Lobster - 74, *68

    Swordfish - 86, *81

    Monkfish - 90, *92 (In my experience)

    Shark - None, *94

Now, obviously you should take the route most suited to your bankroll if you're planning to buy the fish. The varrok armor cooking range isn't the best, use the Rogue's Den underground place located here:

    2afwk86.png

The banker and the fire are next to each other.

Another thing to keep in mind is to do Monkfish if you can complete the quest, otherwise stick to swordfish. If you have money, when you reach level 94, do sharks with ToG gloves.

  9. The "Level Mod: %" will decrease and even go into the negatives if you leave too many of them alive. Kill everything, but if they're really high and ridiculous, it won't hurt to skip it. The number of monsters you can skip before it decreases your bonus is probably more than you need and it probably increases the larger the floor/higher the difficulty.

  10. It adjusts according to your stats. I don't know the cut-off, but I recall a member saying he couldn't get the best armor he could - even though he had the requirements. So, I presume you would probably have to be a little higher than the requirement to get the armor associated with that requirement.

I have a 80 spread in melee, 72 range, 72 magic, and I get all the best stuff. Bryll, Fractite, Dromo, Death runes, Staffs, etc.

You can see the equipment tables by going to the skill guides on Tip.it or you could just click on the skill itself. If you want to mage and you want a specific staff, you should:

    F1C1 = Fire Staff

    F1C2 = Earth/Air Staff

    F1C3 = Water Staff

    F12C1 = Catalyst Staff/Air/Fire

    (Then bind it.)

  11. I'm only stubborn because getting a good team who knows what they're doing is hard, harder with my low levels and even harder when you're only on like once a day or so, for a single dungeon :|

Edit: They all catch my eye, but only some of them are really worth it, not much use investing points in something like the bonecrusher when there's better things like Chao Long.

Whether the team is good or not, solely depends on how the leader handles things. Just host for yourself, it isn't hard, and you can control the tempo you go at. More experienced players are harder to handle in my opinion, they tend to have strong opinions on difficulty, map size, general level of intelligence of their teammates, thoroughly arrogant, pompous, etc. Don't be afraid to take risks and be greedy, this skill is highly based on how dedicated you can be to a cause.

As for the rewards, Chaotic weapons are better than Godswords (disregarding their special), I don't think you can have any higher standards.

  12. I <3 dungeoneering now that i've gotten into it.

However, I dunno what I should spend my tokens on, and how long it will take me to get to 80ish soloing.

I almost flat-out refuse to do teams, I'm on at odd times compared to the rest of the world and often only get one dungeon done at a time before having to log (this is 4x4, too.)

Advice? (I know exp goes up fairly exponentially, or at least a high gradient linear. getting like 1k exp per dungeon atm.)

The first question is one I can't answer, just look over the rewards and see which one catches your eye.

As for the second question, you shouldn't be so stubborn. You should start doing teams when you reach level 40. As for the experience, it's highly exponential, although it won't really start showing until you hit the 60s.

  13. Anyway, the point was that in the 2nd image he only had 8% from bonus doors and in the first image he did have 13%.

And apparently morionic has answered the question :P

    Oh...I was thinking sometime else.

  14. I just said it won't always be the same :P

It does drop below base because some things also get invisibly factored in in something incorrectly called 'base' xp.

I've done dungeoneering on 6 accounts, and no matter what I do, floors 1 to ~12 give me roughly the same exp.

No matter what I do, floor one will never go under 80, etc etc.

  15. It's not like that for for example bonus rooms though, if you miss rooms that gets multiplied in a few times and consequently really screws up your xp.

Base exp will always be the same. You can lose exp, but that number at the top will never drop below the base.

Total exp on the other hand will be affected.

  16. Tenacity, stubbornness, perseverance.

Your good to go, although it stinks because range isn't really good in Dungeoneering and you can't mix the vocation armors or it'll lower your range attack bonuses. So, if you don't have crafting levels, it gets a little tough. Don't worry though, you can train crafting there if you need it.

  17. I suggest mage... While I'm only F2P, I've taken severe notice of the lack of mage-type players. Further, warrior-types always rush needlessly and never really take full advantage (e.g.: missing a lot of spare exp they could have gained) of a dungeon's design, and usually have at least one death amongst their group. There is a reason, after all, that the combat triangle applies so much more in Daemonheim... B)

    ~D. V. "When you're a mage, you'll notice a lot more..." Devnull

Too bad he is short 3 levels from making bloods. He will be limited to about 125 bloods per game; however, I do agree with Devnull.

  18. you can do fine with 60 defense at aviansies

    Use:

    Rune C'bow

    Broad bolts

    Saradomin coif

    Zamorak Vambs

    Black dhide body

    Dragon Skirt or legs

    Granite or obby shield

    Snakeskin boots

    Ava's Accumulator

    Fury/Glory

Archer Ring (gives you back some range bonus that you lose to the shield)

    And bones to peaches tabs

    Good advice right there.

Although, I remember taking a Summoning Imbuned Neitznot helmet and having something else for Saradomin. I think I used the holy symbol because it helped extend my trip (added prayer bonus) a lot more because I didn't need bonuses from glory (couldn't afford fury).

Definitely get Dragon Skirt, a lot cheaper, same stats.
